Cabin holiday rentals in Montgomery County

The stay here was excellent. Very clean and lots to do within a short drive. Beautiful scenery and lots of trails to hike. We were very pleased and will definitely be staying again.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at the house over Spring break and had plenty of space. The cabin was located perfect for our crystal digging adventures. After digging, we would come back and clean the crystals on the back porch watching the sun set. The hot tub was small, but it worked out. We rotated small groups at a time. The inside of the house was open and inviting. We could all be in the same space or retreat to our rooms if needed. It had everything that we needed, minus food, which helps when traveling.

They responded very fast and were very friendly. They had a pamphlet with things to do in the area, closest place to drop our boat in, wifi password etc all listed together and the design were a very cute aesthetic. We would all 100% stay there again. We visit Arkansas frequently, and our guests are moving there boat to the lake nearby. We will definitely come back!

You think you need 3 days away? You need 5 and you need them right here in this tranquil, deeply restorative, quaint, rustic cabin. This cabin is overflowing with unique touches and extreme hospitality, so many little decorative touches and treats we couldn't enjoy them all in our 3 day stay. Which brings me back to you MUST book 5 days minimum! LOL From the porch swing naps to the Hot Tub soaks, everything was in perfect order. We had a small problem with the hot plate and a replacement was immediately provided. Do you know how incredible that was? You are literally in the middle of NOWHERE and POOF, instant response. Incredible. We were already in love with this little place, but that kind of attention takes it to the next level. I can't recommend Fancy Hills highly enough. We hope to stay again and again and again.

The Magnolia Cabin at Ouachita River Haven was incredible! The peaceful environment is just what our family was looking for. There is lots to do on the property, such as fishing, hiking, kayak and canoes, as well as exploring and checking out the owners animals. My kids loved Thomas the Turkey. It was nice that the owners live there in the property, once we needed something, although we had everything we needed. Great place!! Also, not too far of a drive to some great crystal mines and Lake Ouachita, about 20-30 minutes.

Get place to stay was nice peaceful and was a great place to chill and listen to wildlife and the river.

Was a very peaceful weekend. Host was very friendly and responded very quick. Place was clean. Will definitely be coming back.

Love the open floor plan, the main bedroom had a very comfortable bed, super cute picnic table out front, chairs and tables out back with a fire pit. The best part was in the evenings, the sunset was absolutely beautiful!

The scenery was amazing. it rained the whole time but there are so many trees it was still amazing!! My dogs had a blast and we played in the creek!!! We will definitely come baxk!!!

Our family loved this peaceful cabin in the woods! It was even more beautiful in person, spacious, clean, and cozy with comfy beds and soft linens. Kitchen is well equipped with cooking and grilling equipment. We enjoyed evenings by the fire, playing in the yard, and exploring nearby crystal mines, all just 5–10 minutes away. Grocery and food stores are also 15-20 minutes away. The weather was perfect during our June stay, and the nearby campground beach was a hit with the kids. The host was very nice, flexible, and super responsive. A relaxing, scenic getaway, highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Very private. Large yard with wooded trails and a beautiful huge body of water that you drive across to get to cabin. Katy and Pete (the owners dogs) are AMAZING. Lots of fishing and national forest close-by. The hosts, Michael &Carol were 5 stars and beyond seeing to our needs and suggesting places to eat, fish, and crystal hunt! Carol made fresh bread and had fresh eggs on our arrival. Left us with some GEORGEOUS rocks on our departure...thank you again Michael and Carol and well def see you next time💜

We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape from the chaos of work and parenting—and this place delivered perfectly. The space was spotless, cozy, and immediately felt like home. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches, from the abundance of fresh towels to the fully stocked kitchen that made meals a breeze. Every detail made it easy to settle in and truly unwind. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

The pictures do not do this place justice! If you will be staying anywhere in the Hot Springs area, I cannot recommend staying here enough. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked, the house is beautiful and the views are absolutely stunning. We spent our days exploring and made sure to get home at a decent time to grill out and sit on the deck each evening, watching the sunset. We would then be out there again in the morning having our morning coffee; it was all just perfect. Not only was the place great, but Jacki was a fantastic host! She was responsive, friendly, and you can tell she cares that you have a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was such a beautiful and secluded setting! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The rustic, bear decorated cabin was perfect and very comfortable. The complete wrap-around porch let us view the deer coming out of the woods into a flowered field on one side and the flowing creek on the other. The creek was so clear! I enjoyed walking in and around the creek. A fire ring, picnic table and grill were there. The kitchen had all the dishes, pans and accessories we needed too. The thorough provision of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, amenities was great! We love nature and this was perfect. So many kinds of birds too. Nearby experiences that we enjoyed were Little Missouri Falls, hiking and digging crystals. I could go on and on; we really enjoyed it. Lisa it is a wonderful place that you and John Karl provide. This was our 2nd time to stay at Richard’s place. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future!

Brenda was an amazing host, checking in with me before and during our trip to make sure everything was going well. The cabin and property are beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, a great selection of games in the game room, and multiple areas inside and out to kick back and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Had such a great time with the family creek walking. Would love to stay again!!!

This place was awesome. The area and the Cabins have so much history. All from native tribes, Jesse James, Masonic meetings, truly full of character. The cabin has all the modern amenities but is super rustic. The outdoor restroom and shower I thought were cool. They are up-kept and clean. The host provides you with everything you need. Me and my family hiked all over the property, checked out the creek, the mini train with railroad, made a fire, stayed up late to catch the deer eating, and get scared by owls and coyotes. Can’t wait to come back.

The cabin is perfect for a couple. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels were available. We enjoyed the screened porch, the view, and the river being just steps away. Total privacy on the 2 acres was nice. We fished coves at Lake Greeson, near Swaha and Self creek areas. Had fresh fish for dinner 2 nights and Wright's Grocery is just minutes away from the cabin in Glenwood. We'll be back!

This cabin was absolutely perfect. My family had the best time relaxing and connecting to nature. The porch was definitely a highlight because it overlooks the gorgeous water and listening to the creek was so peaceful. Not to mention you can sit on the porch and not miss out on what’s going on down below! My kids played in the water every day and we walked up and down the creek looking for rocks and quartz crystals. At night we roasted marshmallows and cooked on the grill. The cabins were clean and accommodated all our needs. I look forward to visiting again!

Great place to get away!! Quiet, cozy just as advertised !! Easy to find. Fire pit would have been a great asset but it rained the night of our stay. Super clean, comfy bed and furniture. We will be back! JSD

My family stayed here while I hiked the Eagle Rock Loop about 45 min away. My son and dog loved playing in the water behind the cabin while I soaked my weary feet after the hike. This location was very peaceful and secluded, the perfect place to unplug and unwind. I'll definitely be coming back!

So many memories made at this amazing property. Make sure to bring goggles so you can get down in the water and swim with the fish and explore for hidden treasures!
