Fabulous. Spectacular. Breath taking. Phenomenal. Not sure what other superlatives I can use. Incredible stay at an incredible property with an incredible host in an incredible location. We will be back. Eight of us staying in this beautiful home. San Quirico d’Orcia is an absolute perfect place to stay in Tuscany if you are planning to go to the hill towns. Can’t recommend enough.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. This is a fantastic apartment. Perfect for two couples. Luciana and Fabio are very friendly and welcoming people. The apartment is very well equipped and furnished. It is in a great location, close to the fortress and several highly recommended restaurants. We've been there twice and we'll do it again.

The communication before our arrival was very good, the hostess responded very quickly to messages and also proactively contacted us. We were very warmly welcomed and were even allowed to check in 1 hour earlier. We were shown everything in and around the house. The house and the garden + pool were very clean. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was important and also worked well. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The garden is beautifully large and well maintained. The large pool with the beautiful view also impressed us. The hosts, who live about 50m next door, took care of the pool every morning and checked if everything is okay there. The directions were also relatively easy. Approximately 30 minutes' drive to the house, there is a large Coop supermarket, where we were shopping. The sea is also only 30 minutes away by car. All in all, we were very satisfied and fully enjoyed our vacation as a group of 6 people!

Hard to find a place like Maria’s, beautiful place and with such a friendly and helpful staff.

Can’t recommend this enough. Beautiful and unique accommodations in a picturesque setting. Leonie and Nico and their family are wonderful, and make you feel like part of a local family in Tuscany. We will definitely be back one day.

Property is amazing, host so friendly and helpful… Honestly we spent very little time on the property as we were exploring so much of Tuscany during our stay with the lovely location as our home base. But it was so beautiful to wake to every day and come “home” to late every evening :) During our 6 days, we explored Florence, hung out in Siena, hiked Chianti trails, visiting all over from Monteriggioni to San Gimignano to Volterra… and throughout Val d’Orcia from Montepulciano to Pienza , Pitigliano to Serano… and north to Lucca & Pisa. Just wonderful location :) Thank you so much!

Laura and Alberto gave us a very warm welcome. From the first minute, we felt very comfortable in this beautiful, well-kept house and knew that a beautiful, very relaxing week would be waiting for us. It was especially nice that we got freshly baked bread and homemade jam on arrival. The kitchen is fully equipped, also with oils, herbs, spices, etc. The bathrooms are modern, sparkling clean and smell of lavender. The house itself is very well maintained and very cozy, at the same time it has a modern touch through the combination of the materials wood, stone and metal. The garden is spacious and very well maintained. At night, even fireflies appear - simply magical! The saltwater pool is also beautifully landscaped. Laura spoiled us during the week with homemade pasta and apricots from the tree. Laura and Alberto with dog Amelie are perfect, lovely hosts! We have booked again directly for next year
