Apartment holiday rentals in Monteverde, Rome

Trastavere was perfect for us! We loved the clean and comfy apartment. It was near 100 great restaurants but the apartment was nice and quiet. Super clean. Loved it

We loved our stay at Matteo’s place! The location is perfect—the tram is right across the street and takes you directly to all the main attractions. If you enjoy walking, it’s also a 40 minute stroll to the Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Colosseum. The apartment was just as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Matteo was a fantastic host—he met us at check-in and even stopped by the next day to make sure everything was going well. There are some excellent restaurants and bakeries just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay was absolutely perfect! The hosts were truly amazing, so warm, helpful, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even helping us figure out which bus and train to take. They checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything, and every detail of the stay was thoughtfully taken care of. You can really tell they care about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

The apartment is spectacular, spacious, clean and very comfortable, it contains everything necessary for short and long stays. I've rarely seen Airbnbs so complete. Fabio is also a super friendly and considerate host. Unfortunately, Airbnb does not allow more than 5 stars.

The apartment in Trastevere has a very good location and is absolutely quiet. The apartment has everything you need The tram to the city center (Piazza Venezia), or to the Colosseum or in the other direction to Stazione Trastevere, can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Trastevere with its restaurants etc. between 5-10 min walk I was very satisfied. Liana is a very nice hostess. I can recommend the apartment and would come back anytime.

We had a pleasant weekend in a comfortable accommodation for a short or even long stay! Everything is as described and faithful to what is indicated. Lorenzo and Reem are attentive and very available and gave us a lot of recommendations! Easy to access, secure, well served, I highly recommend this accommodation on the heights of Rome!

Andrea’s place was great! Located a bit out of the way from the main tourist spots it was still really connected and an easy walk to groceries and local restaurants. The space is really big and comfortable.

Very nice. Definitely a good place for a couple to stay at, very close to tram and bus lines that go to the heart of the city. And a lot of great restaurants at a walking distance. Kind of pricey but very good overall 👌🏻

This is a fantastic property in a super location which forces you to go off the beaten track the main tourist spots. There are some lovely little bars nearby and the walk down into town is amazing. Full of sights and bustle. This is a great property.

We stayed in Rome for 4 days in Claudia's apartment, which was clean and finished in every detail. When we arrived, we found the air conditioning already on so that the house was cool, considering the scorching heat of Rome these days, and a bottle of fresh water in the fridge. The house is located in a very quiet area near Trastevere and well connected by transport to the center of Rome, you can reach the Colosseum in 25 minutes. I recommend this apartment and if I return to Rome I will definitely return here.

We arrived in Rome and our driver easily found the apartment. We loved the immediate neighborhood and Trastevere as a whole. Great restaurants nearby, especially right downstairs, and close enough to Rome’s attractions without being in the center of all the tourists. We had great communication with the hosts though we didn’t have any problems. Would definitely go back.

Truly one of the greatest airbnbs we have ever stayed in! It was incredibly clean, spacious and we felt right at home. Location was perfect and safe — not loud or too busy and extremely close to the tram to go sight seeing and into the centre of the city (very quick tram ride too!) Local cafes, restaurants and bars just steps away from the apartment. Chiara was an amazing host — quick to respond, allowed us to check in early, sent us many local recommendations and tips right after we checked in and was quick to respond to any questions we had! I highly recommend staying at Chiaras airbnb, we will definitely be back!!

Our stay at this Airbnb villa from June 11th to 14th, 2025, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply five-star. First, the villa itself is excellent. It's beautifully appointed, comfortable, and truly felt like a luxurious home away from home. But what truly sets this property apart is its incredible, central location. We literally walked to every major attraction! The Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain – everything was easily accessible on foot, which saved us so much time and hassle. Exploring Rome from such a convenient base was an absolute dream. Beyond the fantastic property, our hosts were simply phenomenal. They were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our entire stay. They went above and beyond, even arranging all of our transportation for us: from the airport to the villa, to the cruise port, and then back to the airport. Great modern apartment and finished with all the comforts. A large balcony, full kitchen, very comfortable bed, and a central but at the same time quiet area on a residential street with good possibility of free parking, which in Rome is quite rare. As a former resident of Rome, this apartment is an ideal compromise as a location and effectiveness, it feels like staying at home.

just like the pictures. great instructions for entry, albeit complicated. tub was great, AC was great, bed and linens were great, and the price was around 160euros for me, so the value was good in comparison to similar listings in the area. it's quiet until nighttime when noise from 4 floors down at the restaurants of Trastevere get going and they go late, so the earplugs were useful. the elevator was scary, because it wobbles back and forth, but worked. I was grateful for the rest and the bathroom felt like a luxury after many weeks of much smaller accomodations.
