Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monterey Park

I stayed at this Airbnb for my little sister’s graduation, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The space was exactly as described—beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. This place helped make a special family celebration even more memorable. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and welcoming place to stay.

We had an amazing stay! The house was super clean, comfy, and had all the amenities we needed. Oliver is such a thoughtful host, very easy to communicate with and quick to help. He lives just behind the house, so when we needed the sofa bed, he brought it over right away. We were in town for the HITC Festival, and the location was perfect, really close to the Rose Bowl Stadium and not too far from to the city either.

The house lived up to the expectations, LOVE that the kitchen had shutter windows where we could see the backyard & cook at the same time. We went on a late night walk & the neighborhood seemed really peaceful. 28 min to Disney in the morning, definitely would stay here again when we return to L.A. thanks again Chunjiang!

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view and incredibly priced. Everything was clean and in pristine condition. Hosts were responsive at pretty much every hour of the day. We can’t wait to hopefully use the home again on our next trip to Orange County!

This is our second stay at Brian’s place, this time for a few weeks. The view and peaceful outdoors is spectacular and lush, and it was easy to feel at home in the cozy living spaces. Brian was again an awesome communicator and super kind!

First off I want to say the pictures don’t do the back yard any justice. It’s so beautiful and the perfect get away trip without having to break the bank. Definitely worth every penny We loved it and we will be returning again! P.s. Just make sure you bring some bug spray there is a bunch of mosquitos in the back yard, we didn’t have any so don’t be us lol. 🙌

Before we even booked, I reached out to Kelly to ask about a venue location that we were also using. She responded very quickly and accurately. There were more areas in the house for reading or quiet time and our family surely enjoyed them. We were there for a family wedding and were gone most of our stay. Dynamite view, extremely comfortable, and worth the price. Thank you.

Our initial response was just wow... This was one of the most beautiful AirBNB's that I've stayed in. Rosa's home was charming and welcoming. We loved the classic look, with the touches of updated feel throughout the home. Rosa was the best host, very helpful and she had everything you needed for your stay. Her place felt like an actual home unlike some. We really didn't have to get any extra items, because she had it fully stocked. I enjoyed sitting on the porch and back patio and just relaxing with a cup of coffee. The home is near downtown and there's a lot of restaurants in walking distance and many more within a five minute drive. If I ever visit this area again I will look you up. Thanks for helping my family have a wonderful vacation.

This was one of the best AirBnb's I have stayed at. Jan was friendly and left several extra ammenities inside the home. The location was in a safe and walkable location. The outside seating areas were inviting and relaxing. My stay was very enjoyable and I will be returning when I am in the area again.

Absolutely surpassed any expectations. What a little Hollywood treasure. Great modern space with top level appliances . Equipped and ready for a spontaneous traveler. I’ve never seen an Airbnb so prepared. Only bring your toothbrush . Excellent brief stay, felt like a home.

Maggie was an exceptional host. Any thing that we needed or if anything happened she was one phone call away. The location was awesome and perfectly described. We loved our entire experience and we would most definitely stay at this location again.

Stay was great. Felt right at home. Make sure you follow the check in details correctly. Felt a little uneasy at first but became comfortable once you settle in. Great location. Walking distance to LA live. Will return!

Holly was a very great host… she was helpful and very informative. She responded very quickly and helped with all questions even if they weren’t about the stay itself. She informed us on important Information and was just all around great. The building was very safe! Closed off to the public and I felt very secure leaving and entering. A little noisy but it’s downtown… we expected it. I still enjoyed my time there and I’m happy I chose her to be my host… I would definitely visit again!

Tina was an amazing host, very friendly and communicative well and prompt. Everything was above and beyond. Clean and exactly as described and better. Perfect location with options for parking.

My sister and I come to LA every summer. This was a great place to stay. Echo park- stone’s throw from silver lake. Amazing walks. Pete’s cabin was cool and quiet. Just what we needed.

Finding a rental in this area of Los Angeles is very rare. It’s near where my daughter and her family live so we could walk there every day without having to hire an Uber or Lyft. Plus the area is quiet and felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again.

What a cool place! Kagel Canyon is so close, yet feels world's away from the frantic pace of LA. The house is great - and you quickly get used to the canyon's winding roads to a parking spot right at the gate to the property. Host Vic is very responsive - when we had one issue the first evening, he was there in less than 10 minutes to correct it. He and his co-host are dedicated to making improvements to create a perfect guest experience - even brought over a new table & chairs for the patio while we were there. Kagel Canyon may be further away from downtown LA & Hollywood, but has a similar vibe to Laurel and Topanga canyons, legendary hangouts of the late 60's. Quirky and interesting homes amongst the giant trees - fun to stroll the streets even if there's alot of up and down hiking. Especially enjoyed hiking up the trail from nearby Veranda Dr. - 360° views down into the canyon and into the mountains. Very quickly felt at home - a perfect respite from a very busy city. 5 stars!
