Holiday rentals in Montemarcello

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Die Küche/ Wohnzimmer ist klein aber reicht wenn man viel draussen ist. Die Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad haben uns sehr gut gefallen und sind sehr praktisch. Lorenzo war ein sehr zuvorkommender Host, vielen Dank, wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Merci beaucoup à Domenica pour son accueil et pour nous avoir indiqué de supers balades. Nous connaissions déjà le village mais n'avions pas encore eu la chance d'y séjourner. L'appartement se trouve en plein cœur et les alentours sont magnifiques.

The apartment exceeded our expectations beginning with the warm welcome in the parking garage by Gianluca who helped us park and who carried our bags up the two flights of steep stairs. It was a great surprise when we arrived to receive a bottle of local wine and an appetizer of focaccia and pesto as a welcome gift to celebrate our 20th anniversary! We felt right at home in the beautifully renovated apartment in the center of PV with an incredible water and harbor view. Gianluca answered all our questions quickly. He even replaced our iron with a brand new one when I mentioned ours didn’t work. After 10 nights in PortoVenere we hated to leave! We will be back!

Paolos place was magical. Montemarcello is quintessentially Italian, it’s authentic and the people are so incredibly sweet and welcoming. We wanted something relaxed and away from tourists, however we also wanted access to coffee and good food. Well we didn’t need to go far…. The piazza was just around the corner where the kids could play while we sat under the shady tress and watched people come and go. The food in the piazza restaurant was excellent, really delicious and authentic Italian food, we were there several times a day! The local grocer had all the essentials…. Fresh rolls, butter, cheese, deli small goods, veg, fruit, eggs etc…. Paolo was kind enough to organise a boat for us at our request…. It was an incredible day… highly recommend. Our kids loved the local playground and speaking to the lovely ladies who ran the cafe. We hope to be back one day as we honestly miss it already. Thank you for a beautiful time, Paolo! We had a great time and experience, the house was very clean, fragrant, well equipped and very cozy. Alessandro and Cristina were extremely helpful and responsive. We appreciated all the recommendations. This is the perfect place if you want to explore other close by towns and cities. All the places they recommended were amazing. We loved our stay and definitely recommend to others. Thank you Alessandro and Cristina!

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dem pittoresken Bergdorf Montemarcello in der Unterkunft von Mariangela und Roberto verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Vor allem die vielen Utensilien in der Küche sind toll, wenn man sich vorwiegend selbst verpflegt. Wenn es das Wetter zuließ, haben wir auf der schönen Terrasse essen können. Für unser Baby wurde extra ein Babybett aufgestellt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns mit ihrem englischsprachigen Sohn auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz empfangen, uns mit dem Gepäck geholfen und in der Wohnung alles gezeigt. Der Ort selbst bietet tolle Aussichtsmöglichkeiten aufs Meer, einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und einpaar Möglichkeiten, etwas essen oder trinken zu gehen. Viele schöne Orte sind von dort aus mit dem Auto zu erreichen (Tellaro, Lerici, Sarzana, Carrara, Porto Venere...). Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und waren mit Lage und Ausstattung sehr zufrieden. Herzlichen Dank!

We really enjoyed our stay at Frederico's house. The house is perfect for a couple with everything you need for self-catering and to quickly feel at home in a very private location. The house is situated on a hill between the golfo dei poeti and the bocca di magra. The view on both sides is fantastic and invites you to have a coffee in the morning or an aperitif in the evening for the planing of the next day's excursion. The village with its beautiful village square and the very nice bistro delle ragazze is nearby and some hiking trails start directly in the village. Many other beautiful destinations (such as Porto Venere, Cingue Terre, Sarzana and Tellaro) can be reached within 20-60 minutes by car. The service on site by Carla was perfect. Flexible and always available. We will be happy to visit Frederico again because our 5 days were far too short to fully enjoy the advantages of the house and explore the fantastic surroundings.

Tellaro è una perla sospesa nel tempo e incastonata fra ulivi e mare! Giampiero una persona splendida, disponibile, accogliente e una miniera preziosa di consigli per gli ospiti! Noi abbiamo una cagnolone gigante che è stato accolto a braccia aperte e si è trovato benissimo! Esperienza da ripetere!
