We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Beautiful experience, quiet and peaceful villa. We found a cozy and refurbished cottage, clean and tidy and with all the comforts you need to feel at home. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed, as was the bathroom. The pool was wonderful and refreshing, and we spent two afternoons of total relaxation there, surrounded by greenery and far from the chaos of the city. Friendly and helpful hosts for everything. Our apartment was stunning. From the frescos painted in 1840 on the walls, to the renovated bathrooms, kitchen, etc, it was stunning. I know can see why it was showcased in some architectural magazines. We were sad we could only stay one night. Definitely was of the coolest AirBnBs you will ever find. The medieval town of Orvieto is a gem and we loved all that we were able to see and do in a short stay. Achim was a fantastic host and took care of every detail in our place and even helped with our luggage! We hope to come back someday and will be sending friends his way! Thank you!!

The apartment is complete with everything you need, with a well-equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable rooms, and air conditioning that made the stay even more pleasant. The location is truly ideal: in the heart of the city, perfect for getting around comfortably on foot and discovering the city. Thanks to the host, always available and super kind! We had the most beautiful stay in Umbria! The location is perfectly remote and peaceful, yet just a short drive to town, an ideal balance. The home itself is stunning, with thoughtfully curated furnishings that make the space feel warm and inviting. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The gardens and landscaping are truly breathtaking: lush, serene, and clearly tended with love. We especially enjoyed the presence of the sweet farm animals and friendly dogs, which added so much charm and joy to our stay. Livia is a wonderful host. She was generous, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She offered great local tips and guidance, and even shared some of her delicious olive oil with us. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We would love to come back and experience each of the rooms... it's the kind of place you never want to leave. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic Umbrian escape!

Typical Italian house, modern and stylishly furnished, every detail has been thought out with the comfort of the guest in mind.. Picturesque location and good base to discover the beautiful places of Umbria. But what was very special was how warmly and sincerely hospitable our host Luca took care of us throughout the stay. Homemade cake (thanks to the mother-in-law) and delicious wine at the reception was an illustration of this. Good tips about the region and restaurants. In short, this cottage is highly recommended.
