The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. We had a great stay at Donatella’s place in Pescia! Donatella was incredibly kind and always available to help us with anything we needed. The house was clean, tidy, and well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of bed sheets, and the bathroom was spotless with clean towels provided. The only small downside was the weak Wi-Fi signal, but everything else made up for it. We definitely recommend staying here!

We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!

The place is as described with a stunning view and helpful hosts. The little seating areas outside our apartment were private and peaceful and the one had a an amazing view over the mountains and town below The apartment was clean, airy and had everything that we needed. The pool is great and even though shared, we always seemed to have it to ourselves Matteo and his family were lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and were on hand if we needed anything or some advice

The accommodation was beautiful, clean, spacious, the car could be parked behind the fence in the yard. The equipment of the kitchen and other areas was absolutely sufficient, we lacked nothing at all. The place itself is a little off the beaten track, but we were expecting that and it didn't bother us when we were traveling by car. We had a great time there and were completely satisfied.
