And if you just want to relax in peace, the private island located 2 steps from your accommodation will offer you a peaceful haven where only the murmur of our beautiful Loue River will disturb your tranquility.

Gîte de la Charrière

Cottage in an isolated Franche-Comté farm at an altitude of 1000 m, 3 km from the village where the owners' farm can be visited. Many hikes can be done in the area as well as bobsleighing for adults and children. Cross-country ski trails are 12 km away in the municipalities of Hauterive-la-Fresse and La Chaux-de-Gilley. The downhill ski slopes are 20 km away at Larmont in Pontarlier, 12 km away at Chaux de Gilley, and 40 km away at Métabief station.

For one night or more with all the comforts you need. 20 meters from the beds, there is a kitchen with induction stove, microwave, filter coffee machine, fridge and utensils available as well as bathrooms (2 x showers and toilet). Located between the towns of Pontarlier (10 minutes by car) and Morteau (20 minutes) and 1 hour from Switzerland. Relax at Lake Saint Point or on the nearby ski slopes, the weather will guide you.
