We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

The countless reviews say it all: this place and Murilo's hospitality are both exceptional. Best to check it out for yourself as my review won't do it justice. A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!

A casa é perfeita!!! Muito melhor do que nas fotos, o espaço é incrivel. A quantidade de brinquedos para as crianças também é algo com um diferencial enorme. A Ana foi espetacular conosco e gostamos tanto que em vez de 1 noite acabamos ficando 3. Ótimo para famílias, crianças, adultos, seniors, bom para todo mundo. Ficamos encantados com a casa e com o quão aconchegante ela foi para nós

Adoramos a nossa estadia! A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e confortável para nos receber. A Cristina e o seu marido foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos! O espaço exterior é excelente para aproveitar momentos em família, assim como a vista da cozinha/sala, todos os dias jantamos com vista para o pôr do sol. A casa fica muito perto de supermercados, restaurantes e até da praia e dos passadiços. Gostamos muito!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Chaleureusement accueilli par Antonio qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils et a été disponible pendant tout notre séjour pour répondre à nos questions. Nous avons adoré le charme et l’emplacement de cette maison traditionnelle. Proche de la plage et de nombreuses villes à découvrir. Si vous aimez l’authenticité, le clame et les beaux paysages allez-y sans hésitation ! Merci encore à Antonio pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

After spending the last four weeks here I am so sad to be leaving Portugal. The house and the area are just beautiful, and I could not recommend this place enough. A car is a must, but it’s a very pleasant and straightforward drive from Porto airport. The village has a river beach, but if you prefer the sea, Caminha is a 50 minute drive and it’s definitely worth the visit - the beaches are beautiful. Forte da Ínsua restaurant is a must! I would also recommend a day trip to Tui, we took a boat ride and looked at the history and it was just wonderful. I’d also recommend the boardwalk hike along the river from Sistelo. The views are just incredible! The house is in a very rural area, so this place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating!

Foi uma experiência incrível, melhor do que esperávamos! Procuramos um lugar tranquilo para um fim de semana e a Quinta das Tendas foi sem dúvida uma ótima opção, o silêncio da natureza é o que domina o espaço! As condições são impecáveis, estava tudo como descrito no anúncio. O senhor Luís é muito simpático e prestável. Uma experiência a repetir e para recomendar, sem dúvida ☺️🌿

A casa é muito confortável, ambiente mto agradável e a limpeza impecável. O espaço exterior convida às refeições ao ar livre com umas vistas maravilhosas. Usufruindo de tranquilidade e sossego. A estadia foi muito agradável e a D Rosa foi muito simpática e prestável. Todos os dias tivemos surpresas e miminhos da D Rosa. As crianças adoraram visitar o pomar e ficaram encantados com tanta fruta. Divertiram se imenso na piscina. Recomendo! Experiência a repetir sem dúvida.

The house of Sara and José is beautiful, typical Portuguese construction, we appreciated the big fireplace, the nice garden with fruit trees and the big and fully furnished kitchen. One thing that I have to mention is that is full of hungry mosquitos and we had a hard time fighting with them at night…so be prepared and take some repellant of bring with you a mosquito net to put around the bed

The house is a stand alone accomodation with a lovely front terrace surrounded by fields....if you love nature, this is it...close by is a super restsurant if you don't feel like cooking and about 15 min max a coffee shop...so basically you don't need anything else...

Es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Das Haus war sauber, toll ausgestattet und schön ruhig. Der Pool war klasse und die Kommunikation sowohl mit Daniela als auch mit ihrer sehr freundlichen Familie war sehr angenehm. Wir waren als Familie da und würden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Das Haus von Aldara und ihrer Familie war wunderbar. Der Garten mit dem Pool ist ein Paradies. Alles sehr sauber und die absolute Ruhe auf dem Land. Täglich wird der Pool und Garten gereinigt. Aldara und ihr Vater waren immer erreichbar und wahnsinnig nett, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Wir waren knapp 3 Wochen dort und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Wir haben absolut nichts zu beanstanden und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke für den tollen und erholsamen Urlaub🇵🇹❣️

Maravillosa, zona muy tranquila. La casa esta cuidada al detalle, tiene una terraza donde poder desayunar, el jardín es precioso.

Séjour très agréable. Augusta nous avait donné le numéro de la personne à contacter sur place; personne très réactive pour notre installation. Un emplacement royale si vous recherchez le calme, une maison accueillante avec un extérieur qui nous a permis de ne pas bouger les jours de flemme. Propriétaire très à l’écoute. Maria, Foi 20******** Foi extremamente simpática, atenciosa, sempre disponível. Recebe muito bem, com miminhos que qualquer hóspede gosta. A sua casa estava extremamente limpa, arrumada e com tudo que necessitamos para passar uma bela estadia. Tem um jardim maravilhoso para apanhar uns "banhinhos" de sol e um espaço fabuloso para a minha patuda Moana, que se deliciou com a liberdade que tinha para brincar e andar à vontade. Das AirBnB ist ein Traum! Sehr sauber, großräumig, geschmackvoll und sinnvoll eingerichtet. Carlos hat dafür gesorgt, dass es uns während unseres Aufenthalts an nichts fehlte. Seine ganzen Tipps sowie das täglich frische Brot waren nur ein Teil unserer Highlights. Dazu befindet sich das Haus in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Umgebung - der perfekte Ort, um abzuschalten.

Une tres jolie maison ideale pour des moments a passer en famille. La maison est bien entretenue et tres propre. L'environnement et la vue sont sublimes, un vrai petit coin de paradis. Tres bonne communication avec Luisa et avec Lurdes qui nous a gentiement accueillis le soir de notre arrivée. La maison est tres bien equipée. Je recommande a 100%.
