Family-friendly holiday rentals in Montaigu-de-Quercy

Une petite pause entre amies d'une nuit qui a été juste parfaite pour recharger les batteries. Le gîte est un petit bijou entre la piscine, le spa, la vue, et le calme environnant. L'accueil et la disponibilité que nous a réservé Angélique a rendu notre court séjour que meilleure. Nous serons de retour très vite et comptons bien en faire notre destination annuel (bi-annuel?😊) Merci pour tout!!

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

Super séjour ! Les hôtes sont très sympas et accueillants. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien équipé, exactement comme décrit. Très bien situé, avec plusieurs villes sympas à proximité pour les visites.

Nous avons été accueilli par Didier un soir. C’était chaleureux et attentionné car il nous a acheté un « kit de survi » pour le petit déjeuner et nous a recommandé les endroits d’exception à visiter…cette région est un vrai coup de cœur. Le gîte est top, on s’y sent chez nous très vite avec la pièce à vivre spacieuse et sa superbe cheminée, la literie confortable, ainsi que le jacuzzi qui a servi tous les jours. L’extérieur est incroyable, c’est au milieu de la verdure au calme, où les grillons accompagnent nos journées et nos soirées. Le gîte est équipé pour les enfants…jouets, livres, vélos, balançoires et toboggans. À deux pas du château de Bonaguil, il est facile de profiter d’un des plus beaux châteaux de la région ainsi que du restaurant en bas. Didier, un grand merci pour cette semaine, c’était parfait !

Un grand merci à Cathy pour sa réactivité avec notre demande de réservation au dernier moment. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec des instructions claires et toutes les informations sur les activités à faire dans la région qui est magnifique. Notre séjour a été super, le logement est très joli et fonctionnel avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Nous avions même ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus avec une superbe vue. Une adresse à retenir !

Arnauld et Marion m'ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux et sont très sympas, je les remercie pour tout et je reviendrai avec plaisir.

Exceptionnel !! Tout était absolument parfait, le lieu est magnifique et très bien décoré. Gilles et Nicole sont extrêmement gentils et nous ont très bien accueillis dans leur havre de paix. Nous avons également pu profiter du jacuzzi, de la piscine chauffée et du petit potager dans leur jardin. Le petit déjeuner proposé en option était également délicieux. Ces quelques jours dans leur gîte ont été une vraie parenthèse enchantée.

Magnifique endroit où séjourner si vous comptez venir dans le Lot. La maison est très belle, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipée. Birdie a été très disponible et a répondu favorablement a toutes nos démandes. Le jardin est très agréable pour dîner le soir . Nous reviendrons certainement ici si nous revenons dans la région.

Gorgeous rustic country house in the middle of nature! We enjoyed the serenity and quiet and had a great stay. Patricia was a great host!

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Ttes bon séjour, logement t’es agréable, propre le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Nous avons passé deux jours très reposants. Nous recommandons.

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.

Estancia muy recomendable, lugar espectacular para desconectar. Comunicacion correcta con Helene, nos dio la posibilidad de dejar la casa mas tarde el dia de salida. Haria falta algun inodoro mas al ser una casa tan grande, solo hay dos. Gracias por todo.

This was the most magical place we have ever stayed. The crystal clear water, the electric blue dragon flies and butterflies everywhere, the amazing history. Australia is far away but we definitely hope to return!

Manuella est très réactive. avons passé un très bon séjour avec nos enfants. terrasse à l'arrière qui est très agréable pour prendre les repas en famille.

Philippe est très gentil, accueillant et disponible. Nous avons passé un excellent weekend et la région est magnifique. Nous reviendrons très certainement. Merci aussi à Philippe pour toutes les petites attentions, confitures, pains et boissons fraîches.

What a fabulous home at Les Hortalis. Exactly as shown and described but with the added bonus of stunning, peaceful surroundings. We received a warm welcome from Claudine who showed us around the cottage. Jacques and Claudine live next door and are on hand to help with anything you might need. We will definitely be returning to Les Hortalis

Ambiance et immersion totale dans l'univers de la Comté de Tolkien. Petits et grands se sont retrouvés dans ce lieu magique tout droit sorti d'un conte de fée et surtout de l'esprit créatif de nos hôtes. Quels talents !! Merci pour ce petit moment suspendu

Firstly the hosts were responsive from the moment we booked to right through to check out. It helps they live on-site so when we had questions/issued Tas was with us instantly. The house has an incredible wow factor, and the heated pool and outside setting was to die for. Perfect for a general pool party / bbq party. What we especially liked as 3 couples with babies and toddlers, Tas has a “just like home approach” meaning we were not at all worried about the kids. The house is well equipped and had 3 high chairs and cots (with matresses). The bedrooms are wonderful and beds very comfortable, for an old house even the shower pressure was good. This region is rural so with water nearby do expect the usual flies/bugs/mozzie. That said, I was not biten all week and there were ample citronella aids (raid) left in kitchen for us along with a welcome hamper. Hosts are English and cater for a UK audience very well. Noise was never a problem and we felt at ease al week.

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you could need. The house is ideally situated in the countryside yet only 5 mins away from the enchanting bastide town of Monflanquin. At night from the Dining room you have a tremendous view of Monflanquin all lit up, it’s breathtaking. The hosts are so kind and friendly, it’s so very easy to relax here. This is a holiday home to remember.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 day break in Cezan in Hughes and Babette’s comfortable Gite. The gite was spotless on arrival and every need was catered for. We were able to enjoy the large pool and even cooked on the kettle barbecue on two evenings. Babette was extremely welcoming and friendly. We hope to return again. Merci beaucoup!!
