Excellent apartment. Modern feel, newly renovated, everything updated. Comfortable and spacious and best views of the City and mountains in the distance. Windows face north to north west so great for sunsets. Huge windows that allow plenty of light and fresh air. Windows open widely inside for lots of fresh air or tilt in from the top for safety (especially with kids). Blinds and curtains to block out the light and for privacy if concerned about this (even though there are no others that can see inside except maybe from very far away). Excellent well functioning appliances. Lots of storage space. This is a luxury apartment with a 24hr security / concierge. The address is on Via Princessa which is a street with lots of transit / metro stop, shopping, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Some attractions are a relatively short walk (eg., Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor, etc.). Other locations are a short bus ride (eg., The Prado) or a bit longer doable walk. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! This is a thoughtfully designed, bright, spotlessly clean apartment, surrounded by leafy trees. The location is perfect - in a great neighborhood, walkable to all of the central destinations (museums, restaurants, etc.) and very close to the Lavapies metro if you want to go further afield. If you are a runner, this is an ideal spot - it is a 7-minute run to El Retiro, a lovely large park with many nice trails for running. Omayra was a very welcoming and responsive host. The street below has several lively cafes and bars so there is some noise at night with the windows open. This was not a problem for us as the noise was just people chatting (not too loud or disruptive) and we live in the middle of the city so we are used to many sounds at night. Highly recommended - a charming apartment in an ideal location with a great host!
