Apartment holiday rentals in Moires

We had a really great time in Lygaria! The Arrival was easy and we met Nikos and his wife, they were very friendly and helpful! Nikos always replied very quick and also gave some recommendations for restaurants and taverns (we really liked Sirocco and Anatoli!) The appartment was clean, felt modern and cozy. The outside section next to it was really nice to hang out at in the evenings and the whirlpool was a big bonus, we loved it! We also had deck chairs for our use at the front of the building - from which you are able to get to the beach in just a few footsteps! All in all we were really happy to have booked this airbnb and would recommend it to everyone!

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! Very nice Villa and very friendly host. Her father is also living there and takes care of the garden. You can park there easily. The equipment and stuff that is available is as promised in the description. Location is actually not right next to the beach, but 10-15mins by foot, but by car it’s only 2mins. The beach there is amazing. The water is quite flat for a while, which is nice for playing in the water and probably for kids. Also the restaurants (especially Seven) there are really good and have a good price.

A great place for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The cottage has everything you need, close to the beach surrounded by rugged mountains. The road to it is a challenge, especially because it is almost unpaved and very steep. Bring enough food, you will not easily drive over the mountain again to do the shopping. There is a minimarket for the most important things in the village and a cafe with a limited menu, but good food. Communication with Giorgos went well and upon arrival there were tasty things waiting for us. We haven't seen many of the family. Many houses in the village seemed to be inhabited only on weekends.

The place was very nice and as described. Daniela was very warm and helpful. We only lacked a little more cooking equipment, as we occasionally wanted to cook and were then somewhat limited with a pan. Basically, we can highly recommend the apartment and will be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

Kostas is really a super nice and helpful host. He informed us in advance about the current road conditions and was always open to any question in general. The place was super clean and was cleaned every day on request. Everything really super clean and super organized. Can only recommend it!

This place is IMMACULATE! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so lovely and the balcony view is stunning! We enjoy sitting in the evenings with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The location is perfect, it’s 5 min walking distance from the Lion Fountain Square where they have the best bougatsa at Kirkor!!! There is a pay parking right across the street. We are definitely coming back! Hosts are amazing and responsive! We already miss Crete!

We loved it! A couple of suggestions: Would be helpful to tell guests that they will park behind the building and enter the apartment from the back, not the front of the building.. Would be nice to have a lounge chair for the balcony.

Wonderful, kind and knowledgeable host. It was such a pleasure meeting Mihalis. His home is beautiful, it is really spacious, has secure underground parking. You can ride the elevator from garage up to where the front door is. That was the coolest. The home has the most amazing view. Pictures are accurate but they don't do it justice. The view is unbelievable. Comfortable couch and beds, very clean, stocked with amenities, you'll want for nothing. Mihalis was even generous enough to stock us with water and very good oranges. Several Restaurant choices in both directions and great clothing shops just 200 ft up the road. It's going to be tough to beat this BnB compared to future others. We were so sad to leave. Can't recommend it highly enough. Like us, you'll have no regrets.

Noble apartment with plenty of space. Within a new development with sea view in the second row. Villas around it are still being completed, but also look unfinished chic because of the natural stone. Good beds! Quiet area. Everything available for self-catering: kitchen large and perfect. Elisabeth takes excellent care of the property and the guests. Restaurants and location within walking distance. We'd love to come back!

The accommodation is especially recommended in summer, as you can sit outside and be shaded by nature. You are on your own and have a great view of the mountain scenery. We could relax here. It was perfect for our short break.

The accommodation was unique in its location. Around the apartment, you can enjoy the wide sea view on the terrace. In addition, the apartment is really equipped with all the amenities, so you feel right at home. The attentions you receive at the beginning of the stay were also particularly noteworthy. Thanks to this Airbnb, we had a wonderful vacation and were able to completely relax and enjoy the sea. Finally, it must be said that this apartment was one of the best accommodations we have ever been to.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect, with tons of walkable restaurants and bars nearby. There was so much going on in the area, and the lively atmosphere made it really fun to explore. One of our favorite parts was the hot tub on the balcony. It was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The homemade wine was a really nice touch and absolutely delicious. We’d definitely come back.

With our arrival in Crete, we couldn’t have be greeted with a more perfect stay than at this apartment just outside the centre of town. Oreo Travel presented, and delivered, a spacious & contemporary environment that had everything we needed and more. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and space & the addition of a private pool/jacuzzi was the cherry on top. Coming back to an air conditioned space was something we couldn’t get enough of. With a short walk to local shops and the old town, we found it was the perfect location to be private in the evenings but accessible to local arenas in the day. That comfort to know we didn’t have to go far for anything was very useful. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable experience with this property. It was clean, comfortable, well furnished & with great amenities to make our stay all that more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

This was our first holiday abroad in over 10 years and first for our daughter (9 yoa) and it was a perfect stay! We love Rethymno, especially the old town and the location of the suites was perfect for us. The people of the town are super friendly and kind, and especially so to children, which is lovely. There are many amazing places to eat, drink and enjoy on the doorstep. Athina was an incredible, kind and very helpful host. She arranged our airport transfers and even a late check out with short notice. The apartment was incredibly clean and airy, with air con, great facilities and lovely sofa bed, we felt very comfortable and at home. The yard area and pool were a great addition to the suites and we used it daily. Thank you so much, we hope to stay again in the future!

We loved our stay here, the balcony was truly as good as it looks! We thoroughly enjoyed movie nights in the hot tub every evening. The host very kindly prepared us some watermelon slices on our final night, a great end to our stay! We would highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Alexis and Nina. The house is just in a beautiful location and the view from the roof terrace is just amazing! The hot tub was also perfect to end the evenings. Check-in went smoothly as the two were available 24/7. Even with health problems on my part, the two were immediately available and helped me. We immediately felt comfortable! The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated and really offers everything you could need for a longer stay. If you need tips on where to go for nice excursions, they also have great tips ready. The surroundings are also great and you have many nice restaurants and also supermarkets right around the corner. We had a great time, were completely happy and would love to come back any time. Thank you!
