The stairs to the upstairs apartment are steep and narrow.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Stay in the heart of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, not far from beautiful Lake Superior, Copper Harbor, and downtown Calumet's National Historic Park. We have added a “spa” room in our basement that has a large steam room/sauna, a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and full bathroom. Our house does not have a TV but we do have awesome Spectrum wifi. There’s also in floor heat and central air conditioning! Sorry no pets.

The Swedetown ponds and the recreational area are 1/4 mile from the house. Along the trails are apple trees, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and choke cherries for picking during the summer.
