Hotel holiday rentals in Mixco

Loved the hotel and thought it was in a great location. It’s near the center of Antigua so everything you’d want to do is close and very walkable. My only complaint was that the mattress was very firm, it kinda felt like I was just sleeping on the ground. Me and my girlfriend both woke up with back pain. However, I stayed at another place in Antigua and the mattress was the same, so maybe that’s just how it is there. Apart from that, the hotel was beautiful and the staff were great! It came with free breakfast as well and it was some of the best food I had on the trip. I highly recommended staying here if you’re in Antigua!

Buena ubicación y atención

Un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y esta muy cerca de el centro y sus zonas turísticas. Irving muy amable y atento. La pase muy agusto. Un lugar cálido para hospedarse. Recomendaría a cualquiera a ojos este lugar para descansar y pasarla bien. Doña Rosa es la señora que hace limpieza. es un amor de persona. Me bastó muy poco tiempo para sentir la amabilidad y pureza que tiene en su corazón. Además que hace un café y desayuno delicioso. Sin duda volveré!

We absolutely loved staying here. I think I could live here! It’s so peaceful and such a great place to relax. The staff were so friendly and it was very convenient to have our laundry done or lunch delivered on days when my husband was out with the car and I couldn’t go to get lunch, while working. Would stay here again!

This place was great, 3 nice large bedrooms, all with their own nice bathrooms, and a cool lil 1/2 bath next to kitchen. Kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the immediate area has LOTS of dining options, and easily walkable to all of Antigua. Hostess was also very flexible with us. Would definitely stay again if available.

They were very accommodating and provided helpful advice considering the events that were going on in the town (we were there for Holy Week). We also brought our dog and they were more than welcoming.

Precioso! Un lugar súper interesante. Muchos empleados por todos lados. Te levantas y en la cocina de la casa preparan desayuno para todos los huéspedes de otras casas. Raro pero rico levantarse con desayuno incluido!

Excellent place

We loved our stay at Casa Donya! The staff was very friendly and available. It is located in a quiet, peaceful part of Antigua and has beautiful views. The breakfasts were also wonderful. We hope to visit again!

Casa Donya was a fabulous stay- so much so that I extended my stay and will also be returning next week. Maria at reception was absolutely wonderful and so was the rest of the staff. Great food, amazing views, clean rooms and bathrooms (the communal was gorgeous) I also got an hour massage and it was amazing.

This location is beautiful and charming, and in the heart of many places to visit in Antigua. Not only is the room absolutely beautiful and charming, the entire property is breathtaking. I cannot wait to come back for another stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Casa Donya! The gardens were beautiful and felt very private and serene. The Garden Cafe was great as well and great iced coffees in the morning. They always had fresh water available for us, and clean towels when requested. We spent some time in the spa area cold plunge/temezcal which was very clean and well kept. The front desk ladies were very kind and gave us dinner recommendations. We could walk anywhere in Antigua, and we kept commenting on how we “lived” off the most beautiful street in the city! Loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again.

The house was immaculate and represents 100% of the character in Antigua, Guatemala. Mrs. Estela greeted us and made us feel at home and welcomed every time she had the chance to. Fantastic experience. The room is a beautiful mix of rustic and architectural art. The terrace had a great view as well. This place itself is an experience. Minor con, the walls are paper thin with the next room, and the wooden door is an original of the house so sound does penetrate quite easily.

Casa Donya is a beautiful hotel on a quiet street, walking distance from Antigua city center. The garden and cafe were a great place to relax and recover after volcano hiking! Staff were very kind and went above and beyond to make it a great stay. Breakfast was delicious. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe in the area and especially at the hotel. Highly recommend to any traveler looking for a special place to stay in Antigua.

We loved our stay here! Very clean, comfy, beautiful ambiance, and great food! It’s lovely that breakfast is included - along with the temazcal. That was a great experience! It was also amazing that they had massages on sight that were very easy to book. Some of the best massages we ever had! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time staying at Veronica's place! The location is perfect and the house is beautiful and spacious. The porch swing and views of the volcano from the roof were highlights. The only downside was that the second bedroom seemed more like a small hallway to the bathroom. The photos accurately show it, but we didn't realize that it would be so small and separated. We decided to share the main bedroom rather than have one person sleep there, which worked fine for us because there was plenty of space.

Fast response and comfortable communication

This was a wonderful place to stay within walking distance of everything in Antigua. Angel and his family were wonderful and so helpful to us during our stay. Cannot recommend this enough!

Sparkling clean, big useful kitchen, beautiful and big room. You can say this place is very well taken care of. Even the toilet papers are quality ones. Air drier, iron and everything was pretty new. Convenient coffee machine inside the room and generously provided coffee and water. They also have fast spotless WiFi. Side note: the location is a bit farther to the north of what is shown in Airbnb, but everything else is so good that it did not compromise my overall experience

Staying at Ruth’s is like staying with family. She is an absolutely delightful host who is loving, kind, easy to be with and also makes excellent breakfast. The colonial house is gorgeous. Rooms are spotless clean. I got an opportunity to meet some of Ruth’s family which was an honor. Guests gather together for breakfast that Ruth prepares fresh every morning, making it a communal space and a true bed and breakfast tradition that is rare to find. I would highly recommend!!
