Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mixco

Ana Maria and her husband were extremely kind and welcoming and I felt part of the family. I loved the room and attached bathroom and there were 2 towels provided, plus a bath mat, which I appreciated. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. I was slightly disappointed that the room itself didn’t have a view of the volcanoes, but it is light and airy and there’s a fine view from the rooftop terrace, where i ate breakfast. Desayuno was excellent and Ana Maria was also happy for me to use the kitchen. Overall, a great stay.

This is my second time staying at this location and was able to get a good deal. Love the location as it's right in town and there is parking near by as well. This time we got the breakfast and it was perfect! I would come back to this place again. Host and team are very responsive and communicated timely. Thank you!

Ruth was the perfect host! I felt like I was joining a family. They helped practice Spanish with me and not only did I enjoy breakfast with everyone staying at her place (there were also long-term tenants e.g students going to Spanish school) but I was also invited to join for lunch where I was able to try a local dish, Pepián. The location is on the further side for Antigua standards but you can get to everywhere you need in 15 minutes or less. Antigua is pretty small anyway. But if you want a local feel definitely book with Ruth! Her housemaid Maria was also lovely!

We had five people in three bedrooms, and the location was great, with a large living room and kitchen. The view from the upstairs patio of the volcano was picturesque, and we were close to Hector's Bistro, Hotel Camino Real rooftop for drinks and appetizers. The location was walking distance to town and we racked up 14,000-15,000 steps daily. We really enjoyed Antigua, especially because of our access to the Semana Santa activities and processions which even came by our home. Philippa was very responsive and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

2nd time staying at Sor Juana and its more dreamy than I remember. Go ahead and book this place NOW. The rooms are massive, the terrace is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. The breakfast provided was delicious and we were even able to wash and dry our clothes since we hiked Acatenango one of the days. Its also spacious enough for everyone to hang out in different areas of the house so you dont ever feel crowed. Cant say enough good things about this place. One quirk we didn’t realize is that the showers take a bit to warm up, so just let the water run for a few minutes before jumping in.

It’s hard to describe this place in words. If you’re the type of traveller that values connecting with local people this is the place for you. As soon as I came in, they welcomed me like family- I mentioned being hungry and she put out a whole spread for me to eat in 10 minutes. Also made me breakfast that was probably some of the best food I had on my trip just out of kindness. For such an intimate experience, I was surprised at the level of privacy I had with my own room and bathroom. The location is perfect bc you can get to the main square in about 10-15 minutes. Probably one of my most memorable experiences and a highlight of my trip staying here. Thank you to Lucy and her husband for everything.

This place was easily the highlight of all the places we stayed at in Guatemala. The attention to detail and aesthetics showed a lot of care from the hosts. The staff were super friendly. Having parking was a great convenience, and the peaceful environment despite being in town was a big plus. We’d definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend it for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

The room was pristine and located within a hotel so there was good breakfast and every service a hotel has to offer, despite the property being a full 1 bedroom apartment.

Julisa's apartment is well located and that makes your stay in Guatemala City pleasant.

This listing is in Zone 10, which is one of the better zones in Guatemala City. You can easily walk to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. You can do your laundry here at the listing. This rental also has multiple dedicated working spaces with chairs that properly support your back and neck while using your laptop computer. The wi-fi is reliable and fast. There's a 4-burner stove with cooking gear if you want to prepare your own meals. There's also many plants if you enjoy that kind of scenery. Willy is an excellent host who always tries to accommodate his guests with excellence and kindness. He communicates very well and applies more effort than any Airbnb host I've ever stayed with. I enjoy speaking with him, and his unique humor. Most Airbnb hosts within this price range could learn a lot from Willy. I encourage Airbnb hosts to stay here for a few days, and try to understand what guests want/need to feel welcome.

Wonderful spot in the city close to great restaurants. Safe space with easy check-in and amenities as listed. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and well maintained property! Ana was very friendly and helpful. The peacocks were our favorite part of the stay! Would definitely come back again :)

We only stayed one night at Due's place but it was one of the best of our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and although the accommodation is out of the way we were able to get around without a problem!! The service is spotless and we recommend it!

Elsa is a very friendly host. She made great effort to make sure that I was comfortable during my stay. The meals she makes were tasty, served in variety, and enough to feel satisfied and not hungry afterwards. The room I stayed in was spacious even with with a queen bed, desk, cabinets, and a chair. I felt right at home staying in Elsa's house. I would definitely recommend her house to feel comfortable and learn more about the local culture.

The space is private with a shared courtyard, rooftop balcony and kitchen with rooms encircling the beautiful courtyard. There is someone on staff at the front desk all day and into the evening to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. The rooftop balcony is a wonderful space to have a bottle of wine and Watch the sunset. Close to shops and restaurants this is a great location in Antigua. The bathroom did not have ventilation was the only minor critique, but a fan was provided to keep circulating the room. Would come back again!

Palacio de Dona Beatriz is in a secure gated community. It is very safe and quiet. The facility is more beautful than the photos. The staff was wonderful, kind, helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfasts were outstanding and generous. We booked out the whole place for my family to stay while attending my son's wedding. We were busy, with odd hours and stressed at times. The staff was flexible and smoothed the way for us. Everyday! If you think Palacio de Dona Beatriz will meet your needs I would look no further. They have my highest recommendation!

Such a delightful stay at Ginger’s casa! It really felt like a home away from home. Communal breakfasts were the highlight - setting the tone for the day. It is clear that Ginger loves hosting and creating a warm home for her guests to land. I am so happy I chose to stay here during my visit to Antigua. The only thing I will say is that if you stay in San Juan de Obispo during Semana Santa, I highly recommend coming home at a decent time as many of the roads in Antigua are closed at night and it can be very challenging to uber home.
