Cottage holiday rentals in Mississippi Lake

We had a fantastic weekend getaway, and loved that we could bring the pups with us! The hot tub and pizza oven were amazing, and the outdoor set up was beyond what we anticipated- games and multiple seating areas! We will definitely be going back!

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

This is a fabulous cabin on the lake!! We ended up having our family of 4 plus a niece stay here during a family reunion in Kingston and this was wonderful! I like getting out of town, and this feels out in the woods, yet only a 20 minute drive to Kingston. The communication with Danielle and Jorden was immediate. The instructions to get to the cabin are clear. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, the beds are very comfortable, the showers are great (but low pressure if something else, like the dishwasher, is running) The setting is in absolute paradise. The lake, the deck, the dock, the chairs, the fire pit, the hot tub... wow!Unfortunately for us, the weather was not great so we did not make good use of all the outdoor amenities. But even in the rain, it was so lovely to walk some of the nearby Cataraqui Trail. I will definitely try to make my way back to this Airbnb, hopefully in the warmer months.

We had an amazing stay at the Mellow Yellow Cottage! We are a family of four and invited my parents. The Cottage was so clean, spacious and had a lot of personality. We all left happy and relaxed! The kitchen is renovated and had every appliance, dish and utensil we could have needed and more. We spent loads of time on the water and on the dock. I was grateful for the qty and variety of water “toys”. My 9 year old and 16 year old were kept busy. The fire pit was used every night as was the pool table. It was quiet and private and was the perfect tranquil escape for your family. It was nice to have grocery stores and restaurants within 15 -20 min. The visit to Kingston for a few hours was also enjoyable. Overall amazing stay, highly recommend for families of varying ages. Host was engaged and proactive.

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

I had a perfect week-long stay at the Timber Oasis with my husband and dogs. Mike is a generous host who’s thought of every detail to make your stay memorable. There’s so much to enjoy at the cottage that you could easily spend the entire time relaxing there, but the location is also ideal being close to Eganville and Lake Clear. We loved using the stand-up paddleboard at the lake and always enjoy the hot tub, BBQ, fire-pit and great selection of board games. This place is truly a gem, and creates the perfect setting for fun and relaxation. We look forward to our next visit!

Very quiet place! Perfect to relax and enjoy

We went here for a family vacation and this peaceful abode by the lake is something we needed more than what we expected. It was relaxing, silent and within the nature. The hot tub is a magical added luxury. There are enough life jackets for you to try and go for some paddle boating by the lake. And for people who enjoys a good campfire at night like me, they had an amazing spot with loads of wood to light an amazing campfire. All in all we got what we expected and enjoyed every bit of it.

Kiara was a great host. Friendly approachable , attentive and proactive. Her home is lovely, the surroundings were beautiful and the docks were well maintained , which was a plus , as we brought our boat to explore the river and spent tons of time watching otters, eagles, herons, fish ( and fishermen floating by!) from the dock. The beds and sheets were luxurious, which was so very welcome as we stayed for two weeks. I read in the reviews about the “bonus goats” and chickens but truly didn’t recognize how important they are to encouraging relaxation !! Loved the whole experience. Thank you, thank you!

My friends and I had an great stay at Colombe's Cottage. The lake was perfect for a few morning dock jumps, Hot tub nicely situated for lounging when it starts to cool off, and living room cozy enough to watch a thriller when it's time to hide from the Bugs. Taking a swim around the weed free dock and beach is a definite must. Colombe was very quick and responsive to any questions as well.

We were a group of lifelong friends up for a long weekend and this place was just an amazing backdrop for a long overdue reunion. The space was impeccable, the lot was beautiful and the wood-powered sauna & hot tub were well-loved. Everything was as described -- the first person that arrived simply said "this place is incredible." The manager was super responsive and really friendly and helpful as we figured out the sauna. We've been home and hour and are already talking of booking May 2026 ... now. The place is really pretty, well-appointed and we were thrilled with the weekend.

Cozy and comfortable cottage in tranquil setting ! We spent fantastic few days at Krista's cottage enjoying the place and beautiful lake. Cottage is well equipped and private with everything you need to have a great time. Kennebec lake is clean and beautiful. Our family enjoyed paddling on it and swimming off the dock. The area around the cottage is peaceful and private with lots of birds to watch. Krista is a super host ! She is responsive and was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend her place if you are looking to recharge and enjoy peaceful nature.

This place was everything we wanted and more. Beautiful scenery, cozy place, private and quiet. The host was very easy to reach and very helpful. We had a small little problem upon our arrival about a breaker fuse being tripped. She promptly replied and help us resolve the issue and was quick to offer additional assistance if we need be. Our kids enjoyed the play structure, pedalboat and swimming in the private lake. I would highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our extended stay here this winter. The cottage is much larger than we expected with two full bathrooms and two large bedrooms that are nicely separated, with a large kitchen space. The pool table provided extra fun for family and friends on cold snowy days. The views out to the river are lovely (even in the winter). The property was very quiet and private making for a relaxing and peaceful escape. The hosts were great to deal with, responded quickly and resolved any issues we had. Merrickville is a short drive away and a great spot to run for lunch or a few groceries. Highly recommend this property!

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location! Lots of things to do outside and fully equipped kitchen and large bedrooms inside. The only issue (and it's clearly stated in the description) but not having a washing machine was definitely a drawback. We enjoyed our time and could have stayed longer!

Мы отдыхали с семьёй, выбрали это место хотели быть близко к воде. Дом на самом берегу реки , очень красивый вид с окна и с тирассы, вода очень успокаивает. Есть камин , можно насладиться прекрасной атмосферой. Внутри нас ждал сюрприз много вкусняшек и видов кофе и чая. Отдых был сказочным. Дженифер невероятно приятная и отзывчивая.Планируем сюда вернуться опять.

Wow!!!! It’s even prettier than the pictures! Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. We were a large family of 8 adults and there was more than enough beds, towels, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for us all. 🙌 The kayaks were fun, the fire pit was lovely, and the dock was so picturesque. Summers in Canada = mosquitoes & blackflies, so bring bug spray and/or thermocells obviously 😉 Our host was gracious, kind, and responsive - a pleasure to deal with! We can hardly wait to visit again! 😃

This property is situated in such a great point on the lake where the views seem endless. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning. Everything was as described and very clean. Thank you!

John’s place is excellent! It’s really well kept and thoughtfully set up for essentials and everything in between. It’s a beautiful location- the private dock by the lake was the highlight of our trip. We stayed for 3 nights and we wished we had it longer. We miss it already and would love to be back.
