Carlos and Silvia's welcome is very warm, they are available and considerate. Their home has a lot of personality and everything is very functional. The neighborhood is quiet and the garden is a plus. A perfect place to discover the south of Misiones.

This is a beautiful historic large home that housed my family (5 + nanny), and our friends family (5) for over a week. The location is unbeatable. It's extremely private and peaceful and such a unique location being in a jungle on a calm river that borders Paraguay. Please expect to absolutely fall in love with morning and evening fires in the fireplace with the sounds and smells of the jungle. The staff is very helpful from making beds, cleaning bathrooms, helping with laundry (small fee) to driving us around to where we need to go (also small fee). The wifi here is pretty weak, but this absolutely is a 5 star location because we came here for the experience in a private jungle, not for internet we can get at home. The hotel restaurant is a short walk away and is 5 stars by itself. Please eat dinner there. The two local towns are good for basic groceries and produce. If you want to eat out, check out the main city by the falls. It's outstanding. We'd stay here again for sure!

Elsa's house is really beautiful and homey, it has a living room, dining room, kitchen and beautiful bathrooms, especially the one in the upper rooms. She is very careful with the details, it is noticeable throughout the house and the garden that she has impeccable taste; in addition, her passion for preserving the environment is really noticeable and not only offering a hostel with a green theme. The area is a bit far from the center, but nothing that a good walk can't solve. However, the distance rewards you with the proximity to the three borders landmark and four blocks away are the buses that take you to the falls. For me, it is a recommended place for those looking for a local experience in the area.

I have to say that Carlos' house is great, clean and beautiful, nothing is missing. Carlos is practically new to airbnb, he offered his house, but I let him know overnight and stayed with us. I must say that he took a time, very attentive, introduced us to his people and even a taxi driver and driver, taking us without planning it to Iguazú Falls. Carlos was a great host and a person worth meeting.
