Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

Very nice cottage for a stay with friends. Well-designed individual and collective spaces. Very functional kitchen, Nespresso coffee machine, Senseo, Italian, Bodum, kettle, large oven, 5 burners, a multitude of dishes and salad bowls, kitchen utensils. Pleasant living room with TV, DVD, large table, welcoming lights... Very spacious rooms with several bathrooms and toilets. Very large and wooded garden leading to the pool, sun loungers and coffee tables very popular, very functional pool house with sink, table/chairs A multitude of outdoor games In short, a very pleasant stay.

Located close to the photogenic centre of this important market town, James’s place is also well placed to explore the surrounding historic towns such as Carcassonne and Foix as well as the spectacular Pyrenees. His house has all of the amenities expected of a holiday rental + a few more. Whilst parking is always a consideration for our stays in properties in old towns, Mirepoix had plenty of safe places to park within 5 minutes walk

We had a great time at Rosa's: the accommodation is as described, charming and well-equipped. No shops in the village but Mirepoix is about ten minutes' drive away. We were able to make many visits to the area which offers very nice discoveries.

Very pleasant stay in Ariège. The cottage is very well located; many tourist places are nearby and hikes accessible to all start from the cottage itself. The setting is quiet and pleasant and the hosts are welcoming and warm. The children were happy to be able to enjoy the pool.
