Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mira Mesa, San Diego

A very nice quest room. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was a little creaky but did not keep me awake. Waseem was friendly and helpful. An added plus were the snacks and plenty of water that were provided. I would definitely contact Waseem if I’m in the area again!

Very nice and comfortable stay in a clean room. Also, Stacy has the fanciest toilet I've ever used. It's worth the price just to experience the toilet (I'm not kidding). The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, even though there were guests in other rooms on both sides of it. The room is a corner room with two windows, but there are blackout shades on both, so I was able to sleep comfortably past sunrise. Well done, Stacy!

The Airbnb was private and had everything we needed while traveling. The town was about an 8 minute drive away with local bakeries, diners, and cute antique shops. The scenery was beautiful when driving from the Airbnb to San Diego and even made the drive feel shorter due to the sights.

We were absolutely thrilled with Alton’s Airbnb! It already caught our attention when we saw the photos, but being there in person exceeded all our expectations. Alton is a fantastic host – super helpful and always quick to respond. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. There’s plenty of parking available, and the location couldn’t be better. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find lots of shops and restaurants, including Crumbl Cookies and many other great places to eat. The apartment truly felt like home – incredibly clean, cozy, and just made us feel happy and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptional – honestly, one of the nicest we’ve ever seen in an Airbnb! We loved it so much that we actually decided to return to Alton’s place again later during our road trip. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting San Diego or Los Angeles. Truly a gem!

Clean space, comfortable. There was another guest down the hall during our stay but there was no issues with sharing the bathroom. Very happy with our stay!

We had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kitchenette. Parking was easy. The space was just right for two of us and we were able to relax each day after sightseeing. I enjoyed reading one of the books Anna had stocked in the room. Anna was easy to get a hold of and gave us recs for sites and restaurants.

JB and Ana were great hosts and were wonderfully accommodating. This was a great private room in a very convenient location. I was definitely satisfied with my experience, especially the ease of check-in/out.

Kai and Bev were lovely hosts, so kind, accommodating and communicative. The home was nice, with free bikes to use which was a great addition. Overall would definitely recommend this place! Thank you for your hospitality

I have stayed at Lucinda’s a few times now- and I almost hate to recommend it so highly because I’m always sad when it’s not available! The neighborhood is beautiful. The house has so much character and I could simply stay inside and enjoy the surroundings all day. It’s relaxing and peaceful and quiet- and I feel absolutely safe and comfortable staying there. There are always little extras, too, like some drinks in the fridge and some treats on the table-and an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, too, which I ended up needing this time! Can’t recommend highly enough.

I really enjoyed the stay. It's a great listing. It's very clean and spacious. I highly recommend it. I will keep it in mind when I visit San Diego next time.

Alan & Pam were so amazing from the start. They also provided a guide on their favorite eats around Vista and the place was perfect. I loved the idea of having a gated parking lot, it made my stay more enjoyable knowing that my vehicle was going to be safe at night. The place was spotless and it felt like home. Definitely would come back here to stay when we come back down to San Diego!

This was my first AirB&B stay, and I was very pleased! The instructions were easy, and I felt at liberty to go in and out without disturbing anyone. The kitchen was great for cooking up basic meals and saved us on the eating out budget. Most things were well-stocked and the appliances were in working order. We had an issue with the TV, and the hosts were quick to check things out and found a very generous solution for us. Good thing, because we enjoyed ending our days with some movie time. You will not struggle with parking, and the outside patio is just wonderful! Some things to note: People are allowed to bring pets, so you'll probably find dog hairs on the outside furniture. The table inside is a bit small so we ate most of our meals outside. This worked great with the wonderful weather we had, but it might be less fun otherwise. You can also sometimes hear sounds through the shared wall, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. In summary, I would stay here again.

This is hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have ever had! Not only was the place super easy to find, but it was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The host, Connie, was extremely kind and flexible with us when our check in was late. She made us feel right at home and the value of the stay far exceeds the price. I highly recommend their granny flat in La Mesa and hope I can come back again very soon!!

Thank you for a comfortable and unparallel location in beautiful Del Mar. The resort’s amenities like pool, jacuzzi, towels, free laundry, made it a great and comfortable stay. View to the ocean from the pool area and a little from the condo, was so enjoyable. Walkability to describe park and beach was great to go back and forth. Great restaurants within arms reach as well. We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

Beautiful spot on the 6th floor of basically the only tallish building around. The views were incredible and the location was great. Nice quiet area, right on the ocean, and the sunsets were insane. Nice and clean.

Tony’s listing was exactly as described in photos & writeup. Very clean & on point. Responds quickly & gave us a heads up prior about a Marathon going on so we could plan travel accordingly. Located in area where you can walk to local restaurants & bars. If traveling to San Diego again, I will most certainly book this place again.
