Tallavalley Farm is located in the stunning hills of the Tallegalla area and situated only 2kms from the Warrego Hway. With all the disruption of Covid-19, we can offer a quiet, secluded stay on 50 acres with beautiful country views and fresh air, which you can enjoy by yourselves. In addition we are taking extra care in cleaning and sanitising to put your mind at ease.
“Joanne and Dave have created the perfect country getaway! The house is spacious and well equiped with everything you could need and there were lovely extra touches that made us feel so welcomed. The location is perfect for relaxing in the country side and it was lovely passing the time out on the verandah or around the fire. We had the property to ourselves but especially enjoyed the times when Dave was over to feed animals/do things on the farm and we were able to feed the horses and see a newly born calf. Overall a fantastic experience and great value for money!”
Timber bed frame. Light filled room with adjacent sunroom/lounge. Both rooms have adjacent sun room study space.
Situated on a hobby farm of 7 acres, this is a private and quiet place to stay, the property was built in 2018 with eco sustainability in mind. We're approx 2kms off the highway with easy access to explore the Lockyer Valley, Somerset and Ipswich regions. The local communities and shops of Rosewood and Marburg are a 10 min drive. We may be at home during your stay, but you'll have privacy and may see us around feeding the cattle and chooks. There is parking for a trailer if needed.
“This is a delightful rural place for a getaway - so close to Brisbane yet near the beautiful Scenic Rim. Sharon and Greg are great hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them in their flourishing young garden with their 2 friendly poodles close at hand. The accommodation is meticulously clean and thoughtfully presented with bovine-themed milk jugs and wall art completing the scene. Decor is interesting including an Indonesian wedding chest and old functioning SW radio. Very comfortable beds with pristine linen. We enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire pit in the garden on a mild winters evening just as travel restrictions had been lifted. So great to escape to the countryside!”
