Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Minamifurano, Sorachi District

We loved out stay at Donguri house. Easy walk to the gondola for skiing. The house was very spacious and accomodated our group of adults very easily. Windy is great to communicate with. Drying room at the entrance was very effective or drying our ski gear each day. We would definitely stay again if we come to Furano.

The hosts are very kind and responsive. They offered to pick us up from the station and also drove us around the area, as we came without a car. We traveled with a small child, which was no problem. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook. We also ordered the delicious dinner, that the host offers and delivers directly to the place for an additional price. We can further recommend the Shirataki Geopark Visitors Center and their exhibition on Obsidians. They offer workshops to make different things. If you are interested in Aikido, the founder Morihei also lived in Shirataki. A remote, naturesque and interesting place we can only recommend!

His english is wonderful! Responds quickly with many helpful responses, suggestions, left light on for us. Would absolutely stay again if we ever come to Furuna! Wish we stayed for a week!

Beautiful eclectic home with nice surrounding snow covered fields and views of the village. Warm and cosy. Came to Yubari for a nice chilled local ski mountain. It was great. The mountain had heaps to offer and there were no lift queues - great local restaurant with home made food. All up the home made for a great snow adventure. Car transport essential.

Friendly and quick to respond!The surroundings are quiet and not afraid of noisy people, and it is comfortable to have a projection screen when you want to watch a movie!

This place is a gem. It’s a little off the beaten path in Furano (which is just what we wanted), but it’s still walkable to town. It’s all about the details here. From a squishy bathroom floor thats insanely comfortable to the amazing window screens that keep the apartment cool during the day to the beautiful decorative details. It’s warm, rustic and comfortable. And the setting is unlike anywhere I’ve been. Situated among rice paddies and farms with the mountains in the distance. Chefs kiss. It’s clear that Tomo has put a lot of care into building this place. 10/10.

The smell of the tree was lovely.I am very satisfied with the cleanliness, tidy, and the furniture.Also, the area is quiet and the view is very good.It is a short 10-minute drive to the downtown area of Higashikawa and has good access.There are many nice shops around the center of the city, so I had no trouble eating.I had dinner in the city, and on the way home, I was able to go home for 2900 yen. However, the stairs are steep and there is no fence, so I think it is difficult for those with bad legs to get up to the bed on the second floor. It is possible that children slip their feet and fall from a height of nearly 2 meters, so if you have small children, you may want to keep an eye on them indoors. I'm neither of them, so I got to the bed even if I was drunk, and there was no particular problem.

Nana’s house is spacious yet cost and homely. It’s well-equipped and everything works well. It’s clean, neat and tidy - Nana really put in great effort to ensure a comfy stay for her guests. We appreciate the drinks and snacks provided too. Nana and her sister are very responsive and friendly. Bath towels were a bit small - would be great if bigger and thicker ones are provided😉 We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place.

Nice & convenient place to stay at, as it is close to Hoshino Tomamu Ski Resort where we will be heading to… there’s a Izakaya restaurant serving some really nice food nearby just 5 mins walk/drive down the road… our bedroom is located at the second level, and fits 3 persons nicely, but space is a bit tight for our big luggages… good thing is that the host allowed us to put our luggages when not in use into a spare room next door, leaving a bit more space within our bedroom… the bathrooms and toilets are located on the ground floor... place has a nice kitchen for us to chill and relax at night… our host is a friendly gentleman always ready to offer us help in terms of advice in getting around etc… overall, still a great place to stay at!

Everyone is impressed with the cleanliness, it really felt like home away from home. The view and ambience is wonderful (We like the location too). The utensils, equipments, facilities are in good working condition and handy to use too.

Harry and Gabriel were extremely helpful, thanks guys. Good size rooms with lounge and kitchen having cracking view of the Kitomine slopes. Large drying room downstairs with plenty of space. Really enjoyed our stay being so close to the slopes in the morning.

Beautiful apartment - good layout to feel more spacious and comfortable. Loved the fireplace, comfy couch and well set up kitchen. Perfect spot at the bottom of the ski lift for easy access to the slopes. Neil and Gabriel were super supportive and kind, and it was great that they could give us a lift to the grocery store and other activities so I didn’t have to drive on the icy streets. A perfect getaway for a winter vacation for my wife, daughter and I. Would be glad to come again!

Although the homestay has just opened, the host's service and enthusiasm are very professional. You can pick us up and drop us off at the station as if you were staying in a hotel.The host is a young man in his 30s and is good at skiing onboarding. If he has time, he can also exchange skiing skills with you. The tourist program at the nearby Star Wild Resort and some attractions to Furano and some attractions to Furano, he will tell you enthusiastically. In short, as a first trip to tomamu, I got a lot of convenience. Thank you🙏

Awesome host. We came very late and he was there to help us through the check in process. He was very accommodating to show us to our room and explain everything else. As for the room, it was comfortable enough that we managed to have a good sleep. Decent space for you to open up your luggage on the floor.

Super responsive host and cosy stay!

Great location, just a few mins drive to the resort. The drive is also easy and safe, not dangerous to drive up yourself. Place is very clean and well maintained. Host is pretty busy with lots of guests but very helpful when needed. Place has only 2 shower rooms and only one available for guys, so it can get a little congested at night when everyone comes back, but otherwise, everything was good.

We had a great stay as a family of 7 adults :) There was a very detailed guide provided few days prior to our arrival, the check-in process was relatively simpler with flexible time. Yuki’s team was very responsive, even we checked in slightly later after dinner. The house was big and cosy, with one room at the ground and the other upstairs. We spent a lovely evening watching Japanese movie together. The water pressure was amazing. We also had fun exploring the bathroom and recycling system in the house. Extra point was we saw a fox outside the house before we checked out the next morning. And the only downside was that it seem like there’s no neighbours around as mentioned. Definitely recommended!

Such a comfortable stay! Steven and his wife are very gracious and friendly hosts with a lovely home in a quiet area near the beautiful riverside as well as the city center and public transport. We would love to come back someday. Thank you very much!

Very practical, would recommend.

I stayed here for two nights in the snowy Hokkaido. The landlord couple was very welcoming. We exchanged some travel ideas for the next few days and recommended Otaru's cheesecake to me. And the friends from Thailand I met here, they are very talkative and enthusiastic.

We and the kids had a great time here. I highly recommend it.

It was the best accommodation that gave us good memories! It is located a little far from downtown, so it is very quiet, and you can see the stars pouring in at night. The host was so kind throughout our stay and answered our questions right away. I loved the restaurants recommended by the host, and I felt good throughout the trip with the kindness he showed me. We were a group of 4 who chose the house house as base camp for ski touring. The bedrooms can become quite cold if you don't keep the heater running during the night but the house has a lot of space and a good location. Ryu is a very kind host and passionate snowboarder. He gave us good advice on where to find the best conditions.
