My friend and I “crashed” in Room 3 of the Kash Lodge, after our Mikumi Safari Experience. Alex’s listing is precisely as advertised. No issues. No complaints. The room was precisely what we needed for that one night en route to Dar es Salaam. Alex remained easily reachable via text messaging, from the moment I requested the room, till the day we checked out. Much appreciated!!!

On the whole we are very satisfied from our trip to Mikumi and from the services provided by Alex. We did a 2 day safari, had a very good guide and could be in touch with the nature and animals. Concerning the room, it is located not far from the park entrance and had warm water for the shower. The breakfast was very minimalist and repetitiv for the 3 days we went there. Some fruits or juices could make it way happier. We could have more help from their side the day of our departure to take a bus.

Enjoy our little cottage which is only 5 min. drive away from the main road and 30 min. from the gate of Mikumi National Park (from 01.07.2025 only 15 Min. from new Southern Gate). You will love the authentic feeling of this quiet neighbourhood. You can observe the locals in their daily habits, buy some fresh milk from Maasai women passing by or listen to the chickens chatters. Your host Silas is a tour guide and can make you a special offer for the main trips with free pick up from the house.
