Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mid Ulster

Was a beautiful home and experience. Mary was a wonderful host. I will definitely recommend this home to friends and family.

Visited Julie and Steve’s place with the girls for my best friends 30th, they were amazing hosts very responsive, clear check in instructions and great recommendations for takeaways close by. The house was beautiful and the surroundings were also beautiful. The hot tub was an added bonus and they even added extra touches for my friend’s birthday which was lovely. We had a ball and would definitely recommend! Thank you Julie and Steve!

Edel's house was inviting, cosy, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. It was very close to town and only a minutes walk to the nearest shop. The house had everything we needed and more and lots of extra towels and bed linen. Check in and out were very straightforward and Edel answered any of my queries very promptly. Used as a base for exploring including kayaking, very handy for our needs. John was very communicative and a good host.

We had a fab extended family break at Ballyheifer House! The property is very spacious and our 3 toddler cousins loved roaming about. The hot tub was amazing and a real bonus to an already stunning property! Martina was really prompt over messages and a pleasure to deal with, highly recommend!

We were working in the area and stayed for the week this is ideal for contractors well stocked, feels right at home, ideal location, fantastic host, highly recommended

Maureen was a lovely lady. She showed us around and how everything worked. I asked her for some local food places and we used 2 of the places that she recommended. The kitchen was stocked up with plenty of essentials and she left us pancakes and Tayto crisps on the table. She phoned to check in with us on the 2nd day, to make sure everything was OK and did we need anything. She advised me to turn the hottub on for use later. Maureen was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone interested.

We had a fantastic time at Claire's place, it was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed and more. There was fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge and a lovely welcome basket as well as a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. The sauna was amazing aswell as the hot tub and the whole outdoor space, especially in the gorgeous sunshine we were lucky to have had for our weekend away.

My stay at Mary’s place was absolutely fantastic! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Mary was an exceptional host—responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with local tips. I genuinely felt at home. Highly recommend staying here, and I would definitely come back!

The accommodation was as described in the listing. Everything was clean and functional, the standard was perfectly fine for our needs. Location was convenient and check-in was straightforward. Overall a solid stay.

Home from home. Modern, well equipped and nicely furnished 1st floor apartment. Very clean and comfortable beds, and plenty of hot water for very good showers. We were welcomed and shown around the property on arrival. The host had left a selection of provisions for us; milk and bread, fresh fruit and juice, tea and coffee, breakfast cereals and snacks. All the table condiments you’d need too. I understand now why so many previous reviewers have stayed here multiple times. I will also check availability here first when I’m next in the Cookstown area. Great find.

We absolutely loved Donnas place! Self contained apartment with all amenities and in a beautiful location. Donna is a very busy mum but still found time to make us welcome and ensure we had everything we needed Good private off road parking up a private drive. Excellent in every way, we'd love to return one day

We had an amazing stay in this cozy flat and Pearl was nothing short of amazing and went above and beyond for us. The fire made the room feel so cozy and warm. I highly recommend Pearls place for a cozy night away.

We had three great nights at the place. The place is very quiet. It is fantastic to look out of the window into the green Northern Ireland countryside in the morning and have a coffee or tea. Hayle has completely newly renovated the house and very tastefully furnished. In the beginning, the kitchen amenities were a bit meager, but Hailey responded to our request right away. That was very good. There is no elastic/dining area. That didn't bother us, but you should know. We will be happy to come back for our next visit to Northern Ireland.

Genevieve is a fantastic host. She is very friendly and made us feel right at home. Her b&b is located in the countryside on a farm. Genevieve was so welcoming and she told us to walk around the farm if we so wished, which I thought was a lovely gesture. The b&b itself was so clean and tidy and Genevieve kindly left us a welcome pack with some lovely breakfast goodies. My boyfriend and I were traveling home from our holidays and we stopped at Genevieve’s place to break up our journey after a long days drive. It was the perfect staycation that we needed, peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings. I had the best nights sleep that I had all week, the bed was so comfortable and cosy. Genevieve is very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. My boyfriend and I were very pleased at how accommodating she was. Thank you for having us. Jenna and Liam
