Holiday rentals in Michalitsata

Book this home for the view! We loved our morning coffee on the deck watching the boats during sunrise. Many fabulous photo opportunities from the patio. We loved the access to a washing machine which helped immensely. It was a 30 minute walk to town, which we enjoyed, there is a BIG hill to return to the home, so wear good walking shoes. We walked 25 minutes to the Lepeda beach and enjoyed lunch there, a perfect beach for small children. That said, our favorite beach: Petani Beach. Vassilis will give you all of his beach/restaurant recommendations on a map. The home is hard to find, his pin takes you to the white house next door...just continue passed it to this rental. The home is a duplex, so there are neighbors next door, yet this wasn't an issue at all (they do smoke, and we don't, so we did smell cigarette smoke on occasion.). If you are trying to decide whether or not to rent this unit, DO IT. It's super clean, un-cluttered, and again, THAT VIEW!

We had such a great stay at the beach house. Eli and Ulyssus were fantastic hosts. The house is quite literally on the beach which was perfect for us and our children. Also the taverna at the end of the beach was great with delicious fresh cooked food. The beach itself was great, soft sand and gently sloping. The sea was also so still, lovely for our youngest (who turned three while we were there) to explore the calm water. All in a fantastic holiday and we highly recommend staying with Eli to explore this beautiful side of the island.

We had an amazing stay at Akis & Eleni's property. It was presented exactly as it was in the pictures and perfect for our family vacation. It's a private property, so very peaceful, with an amazing pool, outside area and sun loungers. Just a very short walk out the back of the garden and you are on a lovely (very unique) beach. There is a great beach bar if you turn left, and a short walk around (through the water) some rocky outcrops (or via some steps to avoid the water), a larger selection of beachside bars and restaurants, and water activities. You'll need a car for the supermarket and exploring the rest of the island, but it was the perfect bolthole for us for a week. Akis & Eleni were excellent hosts, and very easy to contact to provide you with the peace of mind you need on a family trip. Would highly recommend this to one family or two!

We loved our week here. The studio villa has clean, modern facilities throughout and plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The pool, garden and view over the water are really lovely and feel pretty secluded. We didn't have a car and had no problem getting around either via taxi or on foot - it's a 20 minute stroll into Lixouri and there are a couple of lovely food spots closer by too. The airport is also super accessible via ferry + taxi. Kostas was a super helpful host and furnished us with all manner of local tips on arrival. Thanks again!

Excellent accomodation for 7 people. We had everything we needed inside. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms well equipped and spacious. Every room had air conditioning and also ceiling fan. Kitchen spacious, having all necessary utensils, including sandwich maker, toaster, coffee filter, dishwashing machine etc. The host was always ready to answer at any request very quicly. We strongly recommend the property. We were like home.

The house is set in beautiful grounds and offers several relaxing retreats. We were a bit startled when we arrived as there is a half finished second floor on top of the house which is at least a bit odd looking but it didn't diminish the beauty and relaxation of our stay. The house is also well equipped, especially the kitchen. Pantelis and the owners took excellent care of us. They even took the 2 cats who were were at the house and cleaned everything thoroughly since we are allergic to cats. The famous and beautiful bays and beaches are about 20 minutes away and the nearby village of Lixouri is also worth a visit. So we can recommend this accommodation without reservation. It is really beautiful!

Thank you for a great 2nd time stay, albeit just for a day due to business trip. I hope to repeat in a summer vacation. Everything in the home was spotless, and you welcomed me even though it was early in the morning. You're an amazing host!

Beautiful villa with everything you could possibly need and more. The private pool and decor of the villa makes it feel very comfortable and easy. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed and smart TV give it that home away from home feeling. Location was perfect, 20 min walk into town and very easy to drive around the area. Kostas was an amazing host explaining everything and giving us lots of recommendations. He was always on the other end of the phone for anything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
