Private suite holiday rentals in Metropolitan District of Quito

Skip the airport hotel, and go to Marlene's. She lives in Tumbaco, a northern suburb of Quito, so there's not much nearby if you don't have a car. But if you need somewhere to crash for a night or two, her home is a haven. We expected breakfast, but she fed us four lovely meals instead — straight from her backyard farm to the table. She let us stay well past typical check-out time and drove us to the airport for $10. If you visit, she'll be happy to chat and show you around; we had the option of staying in the main house or in a little guest room across from it, and the guest room totally suited our needs. She had the best wifi in all of our Ecuador experience. It'll be easiest to communicate if you have some basic conversational Spanish, but she's patient and encouraging either way. Seriously just our favorite Airbnb ever.

I would highly recommend staying with Maria. The room was nice, spacious, private and clean. Maria and her family are wonderful hosts. Every morning I was treated to a lovely breakfast and a warm hello (always nice when your new to an area). This was without a doubt the best option among hotels and other Air BnBs - so go for it!

Cien por ciento recomiendo hospedarse con Edison, el lugar es muy cómodo y tranquilo para descansar y con privacidad, la ubicación es perfecta para poder pasear, probar la comida local y alrededor hay varias opciones de transporte público para poder salir a visitar la ciudad. Edison es un gran anfitrión, bastante atento y hace la estadía más amena, sin dudas volvería a hospedarme en el lugar Un gran lugar para hospedarse. ¡Saludos!

Maggie and her family are genuinely friendly people. She is very helpful and can provide tips on what to do and where to go. She gave me great recommendations on food, tourist information and laundry service. Also, the location is excellent. A few minutes walk will get you to some very nice places to eat, and to a large grocery store. Also nearby is Plaza Grande, where you can relax and enjoy the culture, or get trip ideas from the nearby tourist center. The wifi is excellent, and the bed is very comfortable. My only issue with the place is the bathroom. It is very cramped, not easy to move around in. Something to note if you are a larger person. Also, the shower has very low water volume. If you turn on more water, it gets colder, because it is one of those electric showers. And be careful. I got shocked. Maggie told me that she is planning upgrades to the bathroom, so hopefully soon. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend her place.

We stay in Quito to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. I have to say that Maggie was an amazing host and made our stay a one to remember. First, she was very flexible with our check in and as soon as we got there she was waiting for us. She quickly recommended places to eat and visit which took the guess work out of the picture. She even recommended a driver which we used often. The studio was very close to the president palace and the basilica of the National Vote. We were within walking distance which was great. The studio was very clean and we had warm water. Maggie even provided a few bottles of water and snacks along with soap and shampoo. To our surprise Maggie even got my wife a flower, gift and dessert for her birthday. She definitely made her special day a memorable one. She even recommended a place to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday 🎂 . We felt like family and I highly recommend Maggie’s place. We will definitely stay here again. 😃

Luisa is a very welcoming and thoughtful host, made us feel right at home :) The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and was very cozy and charming. The grounds are beautiful and food was delicious. When we stayed there were hammocks to lay in while we listened to the sounds of the birds. A great escape from the hectic modern world :)

Habitación igual que las fotos, la atención y hospitalidad de Erika y Rocío impecables. Ambas muy proactivas, formales, y a disposición de colaborar en lo que sea posible. La localización del sitio es buena, se puede transitar a pie de forma tranquila con una alta percepción de seguridad en el día, tiene lugares importantes a distancias relativamente cortas como la FLACSO, el centro comercial El Jardín, el Parque La Carolina, y la estación de Metro que tiene el mismo nombre. De igual forma, a un par de calles cuenta con restaurantes, farmacias, panaderías, papelerías, y otros equipamientos de distinta índole que pueden ser útil si se requieren en algún momento. Muy recomendado el sitio.

El alojamiento sin duda lo recomiendo, es un lugar que se destaca sobre todo por ser bonito, Myrian siempre fue muy atenta y me ayudó con todas las preguntas que le hice, el lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro y no tuve problemas a la hora de entrar o salir ya que el guardia también se portó muy bien.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Es gibt ein paar Tiere zu sehen und der Hund der Familie ist unglaublich zutraulich. Bryan ist sehr hilfsbereit und sympathisch und gibt gerne Empfehlungen für die Gegend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder :)

El alojamiento cumplió nuestras expectativas y el trato de la familia con los huéspedes fue EXCELENTE. Se aprecia una voluntad por hacer del lugar un sitio placentero. Son personas amigables y solidarias con mucha disposición de hacer que la estancia sea lo mejor posible. El recibimiento en la habitación fué personalizado para la familia y en todo momento se brindó información sobre los lugares cercanos de utilidad con disposición de apoyar en la transportación. Realmente fue una estancia placentera a la que pienso regresar cuando vuelva a necesitarla.

Es un lugar maravilloso un paraiso en la mitad de la ciudad, como salido de un cuento con una energía maravillosa.

David's place is a little eco-cottage nestled among fruit trees and located in a gated community in the countryside. It is so peaceful and exactly what I needed. WIFI is fine, I needed to do a few zoom calls and managed OK. Sonya and Hugo, David's parents are absolutely lovely people and warm and welcoming. You can help yourself to the fruit from the fruit trees and the local village is about 10-15 minutes drive away. You can catch the bus easily from the main road to the local village Guayllabamba for 50 cents, David will give you a lift if he is going or the taxi is like $4. I used to bus into town and taxi back with my groceries. Quito is a $4 bus ride away and the airport is a $20 taxi ride. Excellent value and very much missed!

We really enjoyed our stay in mindo at Casa Cecilia. It had everything we need in a convenient location in magical Mindo

Edgar was a great host. He picked us up from the airport. we got settled in the he showed us the town a bit and ate our first dinner I ecuador. The next day he offered to take us just outside quito to do a little exploring. he has a wonderful little farm with ducks and chickens. made us simple breakfast in the morning. then gave us a ride to the main bus stop for our quito adventure.

This is my second stay at Cecilia's apartment. I feel right at home. The hosts are always checking on whether I need anything, the location is great and really safe for running out walking around the condominium. Communication is really good, they picked me up at the airport, got me a sim card; I can't thank them enough for all their help.
