Lovely space, ran by a lovely family. My boyfriend and I felt right at home staying here. We had a snack refill and room clean half way throughout our stay, which is always appreciated, and felt as if we had everything we needed. The host and family living onsite was very friendly and responsive. Great location which had beautiful views down at Meta beach, and only a 10 minute walk to the metro, and 2 stops from Sorrento town. Had such a lovely stay here and would 1000% recommend.

The Cave On The Sea

We stayed at the Cave by the Sea in June 2025. The accommodations were very comfortable for 4 adults--there are 2 full bathrooms and 3 living levels. The kitchen is well equipped with Mikasa glasses and dishes, and there is even a dishwasher! The location was quiet and a short walk (down stairs) to the waterfront where there are beach clubs and restaurants. We especially appreciated the add-on of a covered parking spot! Meta is a 15-20 minute drive to Sorrento (where there is an easy to access parking garage). Most importantly, our hosts were very helpful and responsive! Valerio recommended good restaurants, and Viviana helped us register for a guided walking tour of the Path of the Gods and helped us with dinner reservations at Moonlight (highly recommend!). Pina, one of the proprietors of Moonlight, picked us up at our door and dropped us off after dinner for a carefree evening! We look forward to coming back!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and gave us excellent recommendations that really enhanced our trip. The location couldn’t be better – just 50 meters from the train station, which made it super easy to explore the area. The beach nearby was beautiful, with stunning views, and it was the perfect spot to relax. It was also a great base for visiting Sorrento and other nearby destinations. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Larrosa! The flat is massive with beautiful high ceilings, and it's in a perfect location to access the bus to Sorrento and to walk to the train station. Madelon was the ideal host, greeting us at our arrival and giving us directions for the local area and food/beach recommendations. If you're looking for a private, local stay outside Sorrento that doesn't feel too touristy, look no further. We will come again!
