Our cabin sits on 35 acres in a beautiful valley in Southwestern Colorado. Rustic and cozy, this 742 sf cabin has a bedroom with a full bed and a loft with 4 twin beds. Get away from it all and relax in a quiet atmosphere. The cabin is supplied by well water + is 9 miles down a graded road. 40 min to Durango, 35 min to Mesa Verde National Park, + 25 min to Mancos. We recommend a 4 wd vehicle for winter. Roads are plowed to the entrance of the ranch + plowing is set up for heavy storms.

Bright Star Campground is located in the shadow of Mesa Verde Nat'l Park w/ panoramic mountain/mesa views, just 5 miles from Cortez. Please review all the pictures! Each Cabin is Private, it is $10 ea after 2 guests, up to 8. Guests are not crowded on this 30 acres surrounded by vast open land. Come enjoy time at Mesa Verde, Hovenweep National park, Mcphee lake (less than 5 min away) River, bike trails, hiking trails or simply relax in the country. . In the winter there are many snowshoeing trails and so much more! Telluride, Durango, Rico, Ouray are all close for a day trip.
