Cheikh's home is a lovely space in the middle of a nice neighbourhood. All amenities work perfectly and the house is well set-up to have friends over. Cheikh and his brother were very good hosts - always responsive and helpful. It is a wonderful place to feel a part of a community in Dakar. All of the neighbours are friendly and helpful. In contrast to other parts of Dakar, it is a quiet spot where bird song and animal noises are the main soundtrack. I recommend staying here for a friendly and integrated experience in Dakar.

My stay in Mordi's apartment was very comfortable. Everything matched the listing and in a safe neighborhood. Easy to access and close to very good restaurants. The host is very responsive and gives all the useful information to make the stay pleasant! An additional shuttle service from the airport to the residence and other destinations is also available with a very comfortable vehicle and an experienced and very friendly driver. This place was absolutely chic! The photos represented the apartment accurately. It is spacious and well decorated. We were very comfortable. Atsépo was very communicative when I was preparing for the trip. I had several questions because I was traveling with an infant and wanted to make sure we had what we needed. While we were there Malick and the building staff were incredibly kind and helpful in answering questions, reloading the electricity, and other matters. My only small complaint is not with the apartment but with the area, as first timers to Dakar and probably because we only speak English, we found it difficult to find dinner locally. Malick was helpful when we asked him and we had used a delivery service a few nights but overall that was one challenging aspect. Otherwise, I recommend the place. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment, which is just like the photos. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, the caretakers are always present. I would like to thank the Host for her hospitality and responsiveness, and I would also like to thank the building caretaker (Lamine) in particular. I recommend!!!

New apartment, very nice, very secure, very clean, very comfortable and very well located. it is one of the best places for those who want to visit the capital with very good connectivity to the almadies, Renaissance monument, taxi services, restaurants, beaches. The caretakers of the Bapoulo and Sow building were very friendly. Our stay in Dakar in this apartment was magical. The views are amazing, we had great evenings on the beautiful terrace! The decor of this place is beautiful, everything was perfect for a good holiday. I was in Dakar with my twin sister celebrating our birthday. Aida’s apartment was clean, well-appointed, and close to the beach for morning walks. Aida is a responsive and flexible host. She immediately assisted us with a few hiccups we had during our stay. Our teens, who were on break from an intensive Qu’ran program appreciated the smart tv and Netflix! We appreciated the thoughtful touches like bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The kitchen is suitable for a longer stay with oven, microwave, coffee machine and air fryer. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Aida’s hospitality!! Thank you.

It was such a pleasure staying at Emma's place. The location in Mermoz was perfect—peaceful and well-connected. There is a lot of construction in the surroundings, but that feels in line with all the new infrastructure that is being built in Dakar at the moment. In the morning, the area is very quiet; you can hear the birds chirping. The apartment was like in the photos, and the Wi-Fi connection was great for someone working from home like me. The host had an extensive list of recommendations in the area, which was very helpful. The person in charge of the apartment, Boston, was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The only thing is that one needs to get used to is the electricity system in Dakar as you have to make sure to keep an eye on the electricity meter so that you can recharge the electricity before it runs out. Boston was very helpful in guiding me through this. I would definitely stay in this apartment again the next time I am in Dakar.

Jacquie is a very welcoming, warm and friendly host. She is very available if you need anything, and is also accommodating. It was a real pleasure staying at her place for part of our trip. Just make sure to get some good earplugs as there's a mosque in the neighborhood, so it can wake up. The apartment is cute, and good location. I recommend it!!
