Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mendrisio

Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

Absolutely beautiful! The view is extraordinary and the Airbnb is clean with good utensils in the kitchen. Davide and Kerry also gave really fast answers. Amazing!

Die Casa Sarina ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen und hat einen traumhaften Blick über den Luganer See. Im Dörfchen Carona gibt es einen kleinen Kiosk, der alles für den täglichen Bedarf zur Verfügung stellt. Für größere Einkäufe muss man allerdings über die Serpentinenstraße ins Tal fahren. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man entweder direkt zu Fuß loslaufen oder nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem Auto herrliche Spaziergänge durch Vico Morcote bis nach Morcote bzw. auf den Monte San Salvatore machen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wie durch den Vermieter beschrieben. Markus und Anna sind sehr liebevolle Gastgeber und haben uns mit vielen Tipps den Aufenthalt bereichert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkuft wählen.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

This home is in an outstanding location overlooking the lake and Lugano. We were blown away by the view from every window. The location was very peaceful, and the home was extremely well-stocked. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony or the covered deck every day (depending on how hot it was!). The home is located a quick drive to downtown Lugano, and a short drive to the top of Monte Bre (highly recommend!) and to Gandria (also highly recommend). We fell in love with Lugano and the surrounding area thanks in part to this house…we will definitely be back.

Un’esperienza meravigliosa soggiornare in questo alloggio. Alessandra e Ferruccio ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa e si sono resi disponibili per qualsiasi esigenza. La casa è molto accogliente e spaziosa, dotata di tutto il necessario. La pulizia impeccabile. Abbiamo viaggiato in moto e abbiamo potuto parcheggiarla nel garage, fantastico! Consigliamo vivamente di soggiornare qui!

Very clean and tidy. Easy to find, great parking spot right in front of the house. Perfect communication with the hosts. And a lovely scent from the jasmin right in front of the door (in May). Highly recommended!

nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'appartement de Sébastiano. nous n’avons pas eu trop de difficultés à le trouver grâce aux instructions détaillées de Sébastiano. le village était vraiment très calme et très mignon. l’appartement était vraiment magnifique et très propre, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée ! nous avons aussi apprécié les intentions que Sebastiano nous avait laissé ☺️ je vous recommande chaudement cet appartement si vous avez une voiture et que vous souhaitez visiter la lombardie (à 30min du lac de côme et 50min de milan) !!

I have stayed in many places. Massimo's place is by far the best. He takes great care of the guests and is very kind and welcoming. His place has everything you need and it is very clean and spacious. He has thought about all the details so his place is very well equipped. He is also very good at providing information and is excellent at communication. Thank you for everything we will be definitely be back again.

This Airbnb was beyond gorgeous.. The views were just absolutely breathtaking and it was nice to be on the local side of Lake Como.. our host made great recommendations.. and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. Our host was absolutely so kind and we really enjoyed meeting her.. thank you for being flexible and just a great host. We would definitely will be back.

It was a great pleasure to stay at Clara's apartment. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and Clara helped with tips & hints. The nice family with their young dog and the little goat was just fantastic. The boys and I were totally happy and thankful to.have the opportunity to stay there. Thanks for everything, Clara!

Wir hatten einen sehr kurzen Aufenthalt und es war alles bestens für uns. Freundliche Kommunikation, schnelle Erreichbarkeit. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was wir brauchten, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank Nico!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Franziska in vollen Zügen genossen. So ein schöner Ort - ein bezaubernder Garten, die Umgebung wunderbar - was will man mehr… wir hatten einen Zwischenstopp eingelegt auf der Rückfahrt von Süditalien mit unseren 3 Kindern. Sehr zu empfehlen, man ist auch ganz fix wieder auf der Autobahn. Danke Franziska für die schöne Zeit :)

This is a one of a kind airbnb - an extremely beautiful home. Great for a romantic trip. If you are planning to do significant travel in between towns, it is a bit more difficult location-wise as it is a ~20-25 minute walk (no sidewalk) to Torno for ferries and taxis are hard to come by, but you can plan your day around the ferry times. Monica was very responsive and made check-in easy. Would stay here again.

Einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft war super sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dabei sehr gemütlich. Das Bett mit Topper war unglaublich bequem – ich habe selten so gut geschlafen. Alles ist ebenerdig, barrierefrei und somit auch für Menschen mit Einschränkungen bestens geeignet. Besonders praktisch: der private, geschützte Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür Der Gastgeber war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit Hervorzuheben ist der großartige Guide-Ordner mit vielen persönlichen Tipps, von denen ich einige trotz fünf Jahren Urlaub am Comer See noch nicht kannte. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber gut erreichbar und einfach zu finden. Rundum eine tolle Unterkunft mit Liebe zum Detail – ich komme definitiv wieder!

Absolute Empfehlung! Die Wohnung ist blitzsauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Schön und modern eingerichtet. Wir haben hier auf der Rückreise von Süditalien einen Zwischenstopp gemacht, Ivan hat uns persönlich begrüßt und Tipps gegeben. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich.

Very nice modern Apartment. The spacious kitchen, the two bathrooms are high quality.Beautiful parquet floor. The sofa is very comfortable. Great view. Great Location. Train Station and Como center are in walking distance. The self check-in worked well. And Claudio was available on the other end of the phone if we needed to communicate. We struggled a bit with noise in the night to begin with, coming from a very quiet place in the countryside. Then we realised we could close the sound-proof windows and put the aircon on.

Giovanni was a fantastic host! He is extremely responsive, proactive and always willing to help. We had a number of questions about the area throughout our week long stay and was happy to assist however he could. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful with unbelievable views… even better in person! There are a number of great restaurants within walking distance (the Bar across the street was particularly great for breakfast!). We would recommend having a car while you are there as the ferry service is a bit frustrating to navigate (especially as a non-local). Parking is paid during the high season, but usually easy to find a spot (there is a small lot directly across the street). Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Giovanni is a great host.

Die Kommunikation auch schon im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und die Anreise war somit einfach und entspannt. Wir wurden, als wir ankamen, ganz herzlich in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung ist toll und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Es ist alles durchdacht und fehlt an Nichts. Das habe ich bisher selten erlebt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und ich kann diesen Ort zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Super logement. Roberto et Anna sont très réactifs, quelle que soit l'heure. Logement impeccable, confortable et très bien équipé. Je recommande se logement qui nous a permis de passer un très bon séjour.

Wir sind als Familie mit drei Kindern für eine Nacht (auf Durchreise) bei Antonio geblieben und wurden herzlichst von ihm und seiner Frau aufgenommen. Vorab hat er viele Fotos geschickt und den Checkin genau beschrieben, sodass wir seine Einfahrt / Haus problemlos erkannt haben. Obwohl der Checkin erst ab 15 Uhr geplant war durften wir die Wohnung spontan schon ab 11 Uhr beziehen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hübsch gewesen, alles wurde uns von Antonio erklärt und gezeigt und uns wurden Empfehlungen und Weganweisungen für Supermarkt und die besten Restaurants gegeben. WLAN gab es per QR-Code, was auch sehr komfortabel war. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet (sogar Shampoo / Föhn / Glätteisen / Snacks / Getränke im Kühlschrank wurden freundlicher Weise bereitgestellt) und hübsch. Sogar das Babybett war liebevoll mit Kopfkissen und Bettdecke ausgestattet. Antonio und seine Frau haben für uns sogar Pizza bestellt, da wir damit überfordert waren. Wir bedanken uns herzlich!!
