I had a wonderful long-term stay at this Airbnb! The space was comfortable, clean, and felt like home. The host was incredible—super friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help with anything. The location was perfect- quiet, yet close to shops, restaurants, and transport. I loved being able to explore the area easily while enjoying a calm, safe neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

Ich habe drei Monate bei Nonhlnahka gewohnt und mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist toll und fühlt sich nach zu Hause an, die Gegend ist sicher und schön und die Gastgeberin wunderbar.

An oasis of calm and peace. A large space as many have mentioned and also a bit dated. That doesn’t take anything away from the experience though. Marie is delightful and proactive with communications. Reaching out when the weather became cold to see if we needed extra blankets was very thoughtful. The gift bags were also a lovely touch. We felt very safe and had everything we needed as well as clear instructions.

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything so seamless from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience - we’d definitely love to return!

Michael ist sehr engagiert, freundlich, äusserst hilfreich und gut erreichbar! Das Haus bietet für eine grosse Gruppe viel Platz, Freiraum um zu geniessen und auszuspannen. Der Garten, die Braai-area laden sehr für stundenlanges verweilen ein. Die Einrichtung im gesamten Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist in tadellosem Zustand, die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, es hat einfach viel Platz! Die Küche ist sehr geräumig und hat alles an Geräte was es braucht zum Kochen, Backen, Brutzeln! Das Haus hat 2 mal wöchentlich, auf Wunsch mehr, eine Dame die sich um die Zimmer, die Sauberkeit und die Pflege des Hauses kümmert. Sie ist eine sehr herzhafte und liebe Person, hilft jederzeit gerne aus. Die Gärtner sind sehr engagiert, halten die schöne Gartenanlage sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. In Kürze: ein kleines Paradies. Für uns als Golfer umso mehr weil das Haus die Aussicht auf den Parkview GC erlaubt…immer spannend zu beobachten wie andere Golfer das Spiel für sich interpretieren.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

A truly wonderful place to spend a few days (or longer) in the heart of Sandton. I will certainly be back.

We had the pleasure of staying at Stanley & Alison's cottage for a long stay, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our cat, Meadow, was warmly welcomed, which meant so much to us. The cottage is nestled among stunning trees and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Its location is incredibly convenient—close to Melrose Arch, Rosebank Mall, Norwood Mall, and just about anything else we needed. The cottage itself is spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need in the kitchen, bathroom, and for linens. The weekly visits from the friendly cleaner and helpful gardener were a lovely bonus and added to the ease of our stay. Stanley & Alison were excellent hosts, and we truly loved every moment of our time here. We can’t recommend this cottage enough to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-situated retreat. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! 🌿

A house is not a home, and this beautiful apartment is the perfect example of that sentiment. From the moment I arrived, Lerato’s warm hospitality made it clear that I was not just a guest in a space, but welcomed into a true home away from home. The flat itself is stunning—cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. The peaceful, upmarket neighborhood offered the perfect escape, and yet I was always just a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of Sandton and Johannesburg’s vibrant city life. What made this experience so memorable, though, was the hosts and staff. Attention to detail, kindness, and dedication to making sure I had everything I needed truly set this place apart. It felt like a place where every guest is not just accommodated, but cared for. It’s rare to feel such a sense of belonging when staying away from home, but I truly did here. I’ve already reserved this amazing home away from home for 2 more stays in 2025.

Fantastic stay! The estate is really safe and the restaurant on site is amazing for great value. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

Had a great stay. Place was peaceful and private with lovely views. Meury was a excellent host. She provided extra amenities of pantry items which were very useful and a thoughtful touch. Felt right at home. Thank you for the effort.

This cottage is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Cosy, well furnished, with a private garden to sit and enjoy some quiet time among the beautiful tree ferns. We only stayed a night on our way transiting through Joburg but found the commute of abt 30 mins to OR Tambo perfectly manageable. very safe within a boom gated community and close to the shops at Four Ways amd Design Quarter. Quality bed linen, a jacuzzi style bath, and lovely welcoming selection of complimentary snacks were much appreciated. Deirdre and her husband welcomed us and made us and showed us around, making us feel instantly at home. we'll definitely be back! Thank you

I had the pleasure of staying at Caryn’s place for two weeks. Everything was as described, the place was spotless thanks to the lovely lady Vicky. It’s close to shops and restaurants. The garden was nice and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place. Hope to stay there again.

We loved staying here! The host are hospitable and very friendly. They have a bag in the garage, that my husband loved. If I would say the place needs something, it would be a heated blanket. Other than that, the gas heater worked fine in the living room area.

I spent a month with Robyn and I have to admit that it was one of the best months ever! The Tiny House is super cozy and perfectly adequate for one person. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped for everyday use and it was very comfortable. It was lovely to enjoy my morning coffee in the garden and Robyn was always responsive. Ella and Tiger, dog and cat were also pleasant company.The neighbors from the other tiny houses were also very friendly and accommodating. I felt safe throughout and there are grocery stores nearby. Johannesburg is a wonderful city and I can only recommend everyone to see it for themselves. Now to Robyn: My love! Thank you so much for a fantastic month, for the wisdom and conversations we shared and for giving me an insight into your world. Stay the way you are and keep up the amazing work!

The place is full of greenery and peaceful in a secure location, even enjoyed my evening walk. We enjoyed our stay and it is also quiet place to work from home. Entire house was nicely and cleanly maintained. Peter is always there whenever we asked for any help or assistance. Would love to stay again.

Tsele makes everything easy from check in to check out. Very professional. Across the street from the Mall of Africa so anything you need is right there. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful space!! Our stay at Serendipity Cottage was wonderful. Our only regret - that we had so much planned out and about with family that we didn't spend more time at the cottage itself. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (please send me the mattress details!) and it had everything we could have wanted or asked for. We will be back for sure and this time will make sure we have more time physically at Serendipity to enjoy it and the lovely surrounding garden. Thank you Andrew for having us!
