The perch is situated atop a hill looking out on beautiful Lake Rosa. We swim, fish and boat regularly because Rosa is a clear sand bottom lake! Wow! We absolutely loved spending the weekend at 'The Sweet Tea Cottage!' It was impeccably clean and organized! The view of the lake was fantastic from every room of the house! It had so many extra special little amenities that came in handy! The beds were very comfortable, the house was so nice & cool, & we had everything we needed to cook and grill out! We took the canoe out in the lake a few times and made a nice fire after sunset. We highly recommend the 'Sweet Tea Cottage!' We will be back the next time we are in the area! Natalie & Mike responded quickly and were very kind and helpful! It's the perfect place to chill on the lake.

Beautiful location and great accessibility for wheelchairs. I highly recommend it if you need a place to stay with wheelchair accessibility. Ramps where you need them, and large doorways and space for wheelchairs to move around inside and out.

We stayed at Marianne’s place over a long weekend for my daughter’s graduation from UF. This house was a peaceful and relaxing spot for our family to come together, plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the breeze off the lake. The screened in upstairs porch/deck was our favorite location. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Would return if ever in the area.

Overall experience was really good. House was as advertised and actually slept the 8 of us easily. The access to the property was easy with 2 boats and trailers as they have a pull through dual gate setup. The best feature of the property was the lake access, which came with 2 docks. The bigger of the 2 was perfect to dock both boats and each dock provided some easy fishing for the family. Also, the property was off of a small inlet so no waves or chop from boats riding by. The hosts were accommodating when our original checkout plans changed. We had plans to stay with friends after the scheduled 10 am checkout to allow us time for Sunday on the lake before driving home, however they did not end up making it down. The hosts were able to help us out by extending our checkout, allowing the kids a couple more hours on the lake. While a non-standard policy, we appreciated the generosity. Our family had a lot of fun over the weekend and will look to utilize in the future.

We live in an RV fulltime and my husband had knee replacement surgery and needed a more accommodating place to recover for a couple of weeks that was located in close proximity of our residence in order for us to check up on our other pets and maintain our garden while we were away. This was perfect! The Klare Kottage was private, peaceful,clean and locatex in a nice neighborhood. It had a beautiful view of the lake that my husband could see right out the front windows while he recovered and provided fishing,kayaking or sunset/sunrise views for me to enjoy and keep entertained while he rested. Having a place to stay that our dog was able to be with us and was more safely accessible than our current residence was a HUGE relief and made an already stressful event more bearable and accelerated his post operative recovery progress exponentially. We will definately return if temporary accommodations are needed in the future while we are at base camp versus seasonal traveling. Many thanks!
