Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Meldorf

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and even had the good fortune to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

Katja is a great hostess who has compiled a lot of information about Büsum. The accommodation is very lovingly and beautifully furnished and is excellently equipped. We felt right at home. The accommodation is not in the "first" row in Büsum, but everything is very easy to reach on foot or by bike. For this, it is very quiet and we slept very well in the comfortable beds. The kitchen provides everything you need on vacation. For us, a completely successful stay.

Rustic furnished house and lots of peace. We were able to enjoy the accommodation Bullerby, from Regina and Michael, for almost 14 days. It is equipped with everything you need The house is clean, lovingly and 'rustically' furnished. It is in a really quiet location! Michael is a nice and helpful contact person. Sarzbüttel was a good starting point for us for beautiful bike tours. You should definitely visit the small shop of the cheese dairy on site.

We were already the third time at Jana's, and it was once again fantastic - exactly according to our needs for rest and relaxation; very nice cottage on an old dike, around it actually only sheep. Very idyllic and beautiful.

The stay at Tasja's was really perfect for a few relaxing days. Great amenities, charming and comfortable furnishings, super, even in changeable weather the comfortable sauna, with bathrobes, towels, various infusions and even a matching shower. After the sauna, you can relax on the small terrace. When the weather is nice, the small garden is perfect for breakfast or an hour of reading outdoors. The cottage is equipped with everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and the location of the cottage in the middle of Friedrichstadt is great and also great for excursions to St. Peter Ording or Husum. The soundscape of the crow colony in the trees of Friedrichstadt takes some getting used to. So, all in all, we can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

I have been guests with my family for many years in Katja's wonderful cottage. Especially with children, it is ideal for us - there are great toys available, you can look directly at the dyke from the garden, the swimming spot is only a few minutes away on foot. We felt very comfortable. Katja is a great host, quick to reach and always very helpful. 😊

The house on the dike is really a little gem. The location is a dream - wonderfully quiet, without direct neighbors, perfect for switching off and ideal for cycling. You can quickly reach Büsum or Heide by car, so excursions are no problem. The house itself is simple, but very cozy, with many loving details. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: the kitchen has everything you need - including dishwasher tablets, spices and cooking utensils. In the living room, books and games invite you to relax. The garden is also great – with various seating areas, a grill and even bicycles for use. This Airbnb is a clear recommendation – we felt completely comfortable.

There were three of us with a child in the accommodation. For us, the small apartment was completely sufficient. It's nice to have your own garden with a terrace, furniture and a sandbox. Just like a parking space in front of the accommodation. The sea can be reached by car. Unfortunately, the bathing beach of Friedrichskoog is currently under reconstruction, so the sea with beach was only accessible in Büsum and St. Peter Ording. The residents of Marne are all very friendly. We can only recommend the accommodation and the hosts and would be very happy to have another vacation there!

We were in Büsum for a weekend. Note the description. It smells a little musty. The apartment was sparkling clean. For us with two small children, everything worked out great and we felt comfortable.

We stayed at Anke's place for the second time. We felt very cared for and felt very comfortable. Anke was very friendly and helpful again. We will definitely come back ☺️

We were in Büsum for a weekend to attend concerts, and we were actually only in the apartment to sleep. The apartment is nicely decorated and very clean. It is a large room with a double bed, couch, TV, WiFi, sitting area and a small shower room, in front of the apartment there is a small terrace with seating - and dogs are welcome :) We felt very comfortable here and would be happy to come back.

Stephanie was very friendly and always responded promptly. The accommodation is nice and quiet and you can easily reach everything on foot. Whether city or family lagoon, everything is within easy reach. Our daughter also felt very comfortable. The apartment is also superbly equipped and very clean.

Quietly located on a farm with horses and chickens. Just across the street in the forest to walk with the dog. The space is well appointed and we felt at home.

The accommodation is centrally located, so you can easily get everywhere by car. It was perfect for me.

The apartment of Hans-Jürgen and Maren is fantastically beautiful ! We felt right at home. The apartment is lovingly decorated and nothing is missing. And in case you are missing something , both are responsive and would definitely make everything possible. The place Pahlen itself is very small and doesn't have much to offer, but we personally like this tranquility. The baker around the corner is great! For shopping in the next town, it is only 5 km. We went on the bikes, which was really great in the area! By car, there is also a lot to do from Pahlen. We can recommend the apartment 100 percent!!!

We felt incredibly comfortable in the sweet, very lovingly furnished apartment. The location was great. Absolutely quiet and not far from the Elbe beach. Beautiful. We searched in vain for the only baker etc. nearby. But maybe just not knowledgeable enough. ;-) We could sleep great and the bathtub did very well after a rainy day. The well-filled refrigerator on arrival is absolutely not a matter of course and we were very pleased about it. We said goodbye with the words that we will see each other again. And that will be the case. We will definitely come back. Thanks to Mareile and her husband. :-)

We had a very nice stay. The apartment leaves nothing to be desired! The beach is within walking distance and the beach chair was great. Communication was fast and reliable. We would book again and again :)

Great apartment with pool and sauna and fireplace, we felt very comfortable and had a great Easter weekend. The pool should have liked to be a little warmer and cleaner, in the corners the dirt collected, the temperature was only 26° But all in all, it is a nice quiet successful relaxing oasis that we would definitely recommend!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! There is a blind for the window in the shower (for those who are also asking😉). The garden is a dream and we sat in the sun in the afternoon for an hour or two and watched the chicken gang during their laps. The street was quite noisy during our visit. The windows are super insulated - when they are closed, it's completely unproblematic. But we slept with the window open and then it was quite noisy. Maybe this will be better due to the leaves on the trees in front of the window, but everything was still bare with us. 🙂 The contact with Christoph was super nice, friendly and uncomplicated both before and on site.
