Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Meguro City

Just got back from staying at Eri's apartment having had a great time in Tokyo! The apartment itself is in a very good location- we loved the area of Naka Meguro to explore and come back to after a busy day in Tokyo, and it's on 2 very useful lines on the (complex!) Tokyo Metro system. Apartment was exactly as described, very clean and perfect for us (family of 4). We (adults) chose to sleep in the tatami mat room which was surprisingly comfortable. The apartment was large (by Tokyo standards!) and had everything in it we could need. Eri was a truly fantastic host - he was responsive to all messages, gave us excellent advice on our trip in Tokyo and even helped me out with organising our transfer back to the airport - really impressed and deeply appreciate his help. Would absolutely recommend this apartment to someone staying in Tokyo - great experience, thank you Eri

Chie's place was beautiful and relaxing. I enjoyed my time there immensely and loved taking peaceful walks along the river. Chie and her husband are kind, patient, and very friendly. I felt well taken care of in her home and would love to stay again if ever I have the chance.

想像以上に良かったです！子供が楽しめるのはもちろん、普段の生活では見られない子供の姿を見ることができ大人も楽しめました。近くにスーパーもありますし、地方からなら途中のサービスエリアで食べたいものを買って、キッチンで調理することもできるので、食事1つとっても一般的な旅行とは違う楽しみ方ができます。ホーリープラネットの中に入って見えるものはまさに宇宙に来たかのようで、経験したことの無い非日常感を味わうことができました。

This place was great! The host was nice although I never got to meet her in person. This is my first trip to Japan and this place was perfect! the Nishi-Megome station was nearby, although walking there with luggage would be a bit rough, but it is only 15 minutes. it also makes it easy to get anywhere from there. Loved it! Would definitely come back if it was available!

Miho is a spectacular host! The home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family of 9. It was a perfect walking distance from Shibuya while also nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Miho was also very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. It was so simple! Miho also was very accommodating with proving a spot to store our luggage after check out for a few hours. They went above and beyond our expectations! If you are looking for wonderful place to stay near Shibuya look no further!! 🤩

住宅地にあるから夜は静かなのですが、歩いていける距離にレストランなどがあってよかったです。コンビニも近くにあるので、いつでも欲しいものが手に入ります。 今回、足首を転倒して骨折してしまい、近くに整形外科があり、すぐにレントゲンをとってもらって骨折を確認できたのでよかったです。 負傷後バリアフリーなのでトイレもベッドルームから近いので、１階にいる分には助かりました。ただしシャワールームとリビングには上がれなかったのですが。。。 階段も急なため、どちらかといえば若い人向きの住まいです。

横浜でのライブのために滞在しました。 新横浜駅、友人と会う横浜駅、どちらもアクセスが良く、駅も近くて助かりました。 そして一番嬉しかったのはペットOKだった点です！しかも大型犬とインコどちらも！おかげで普段と同じ触れ合いが出来、彼らも頑張ってお留守番していてくれました。 徒歩1分の公園があり、日中だけでなく夜も雰囲気、治安も良かったためライブから帰った深夜でもワンコを散歩出来てありがたかったです。 大型犬のケージが室内に入れられるか心配でしたが、問題なく搬入出来る玄関の幅で､、、！これは、もう運命ですね(笑) また機会があればぜひペットたちと滞在したいです。 チェックイン時間の柔軟なご対応も助かりました。 お世話になり、ありがとうございました。

Nice place, with everything you need. If you need to work or spend some time in, it’s a little bit dark, even if there is a small terrace which is precious. The neighborhood is nice and easy for food and groceries. The subway is near, five minutes walk, and even if you have to commute in Shibuya most of the times, it’s not difficult. It’s a nice stay.

We had a great stay at this flat in Tokyo! The location is perfect — very close to the station, with a playground nearby for the kids, and a 7-Eleven and bakery conveniently located on the first floor. The flat was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the host was excellent — they were very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our visit. It was a great base for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches in the apartment. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Nori-San es un gran anfitrión. Siempre estuvo pendiente de mi llegada y me dio grandes recomendaciones por la zona. El departamento está excelente ubicado, ya que tenes una estación de tren/metro a pocos metros que te comunican perfectamente con todo Tokyo. Muy recomendable.

도쿄에 장기간 머문다면 후회하지 않을 숙소예요. 일단 동네 자체가 접근성도 좋고 정말 멋지고 예쁜 가게가 많아서 동네만 돌아다녀도 좋아요. 일본어가 좀 가능하다면 갈 수 있는 맛있는 곳도 많고요. 집 자체도 훌륭해요. 일본 주택 특성상 들리는 소음은 어쩔 수 없지만 볕도 정말 잘 들고 가격 대비 다른 곳에 비해 월등히 넓은 곳입니다. 물론 집이 먼지도 좀 많고 더럽긴 했지만..! 작동 단순하고 성능 좋은 청소기가 있어서 전 깨끗하게 잘 생활했어요. 세탁기도 아주 잘 돌아가고 욕실도 좋고! 오래 머문다면 최적의 장소 아닐까 싶어요. 참, 혼자 쓰기 넓다는 리뷰 봤는데 혼자 써서 더 쾌적했어요. 솔직히 서너 명은 좀 부대끼지 않을까 싶습니다.

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

More than exceeded my expectations. Host Lisa is friendly and kind, and respond quickly. Bathroom, sheets, floor, etc were all very clean. The washing machine is small, but it is free! And works well. GREAT air conditioning. Blackout curtains. Beds are more spacious than they appear in the photo. Home overall is best for 1-3 people, as it is smaller, but works very nicely for a trip to the city. We had three people and while it was a little tight, it worked great. It’s awesome to have a balcony to sit on. There is a bit of construction happening at this time starting around 8:30AM that you can hear from the apartment but it is no fault of the host. Overall, an amazing stay. Would stay here again, especially for the price. Much (!!) better than hotels with similar prices in the area. Lisa, thanks for a great stay in Tokyo from America! 🇺🇸🇯🇵

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

This was the best stay we have ever had. Bryan’s house was perfect. In terms of location, it is very convenient, super close to Gotanda Station for easy transport. There are many convenient stores, a Don Quijote, a pharmacy and local eateries nearby. We could easily get all we need from around the area. It is also quiet and peaceful, near a scenic river so it’s wonderful to rest up after a long day of exploring Tokyo. Bryan is a very great host. He’s friendly and super fast at replying to any of our questions. He also has amazing food recommendations. While staying there, we had a problem with using the stove and he showed up to help in 20 minutes. He also gives great instructions which were easy to follow so we had nothing to worry about at all. The house itself is good for a family and extremely clean. Bryan leaves all the necessary cooking and cleaning supplies and even offers complimentary drinks in the fridge at check-in. We loved this place and look forward to returning!
