House holiday rentals in Meganisi

Couldn’t have found a better place to have a relaxing and private holiday. The photos do not do the house and surroundings justice. The views are spectacular and the house is stunning. Felt right at home from the moment we picked up the keys.

The is situated on a hill with amazing views of the bay and the town of Palairos. It’s very private and in a very quiet area. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town where there are numerous restaurants serving delicious food beside the sea. The villa is extremely well equipped and spacious. We were a family of 6 plus a baby - we did not feel cramped at all. The pool is large and the outside space works really well. The pool area is surrounded by decking which suited us well as it was non slip. There is an outside fridge and an electric BBQ. We mostly ate outside. Susana met us at the villa and showed us around. She was very warm and welcoming and kept in touch with us before and throughout our stay - giving us information and answering our questions. I would highly recommend this villa and hope to return again one day.

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

If you have any doubts about renting this property, forget them!! world travellers & hands down the loveliest air bnb I've been in. Extremely clean, well maintained - just BEAUTIFUL. Exactly like the photos. The family have poured alot of love into the properties. We had the BEST trip & that's just the location and property. Add to that the wonderful family that host, they are kind, generous, communicative and honestly so lovely...like staying with family. I got emotional when we had to leave 😭. They left fresh eggs, bread,wine, olive oil, jams, honey etc. Great equipped kitchen & bbq area. After a day out we found beautiful cakes had been left in the fridge after they came to do pool maintenance. After hearing we had a bad time at a cafe they cheered us up with kebabs, fresh pittas & sausages from their butchers. So delicious!! This is a hilly area, if you have mobility issues check out their other beautiful property which also looks amazing. We will be back!Thank you so much guys!!

We spent a lovely week at the villa and its an amazing property, spotlessly clean with everything you need. The hosts were great and really helpful with local recommendations. A car is a must and we managed to cover everything on our list with days out and then evenings spent at the villa. All in all a great holiday and I'd definitely return.

Well, Its hard to explain this house in words. You have to visit to experience it ..The views , house, amenities.. all are extremely well and organized. Beyond that, the way kostas and team prepared this ABB to perfection considering families, is beyond commendable!! Everything you need to enjoy your vacation is accessible in the apartment. Very specific, how the kitchen is equipped and organized is amazing. I have been using ABB for past several years and never come across such amazing ABB experience The only regret is, we should’ve stayed for more days. I should also say a few words about Lefkada. This island (though connected) is spectacular !! The landscape, views , blue turquoise ocean, food and most important , the people are worth mentioning. We have experienced the true Greek hospitality!! Thanks John

This was the perfect holiday home. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the infinity pool was perfect and used every day. Relaxing on the sun beds and reading our books with a panoramic view of the sea was perfect. Although our stay was only a week, the villa was cleaned and all towels replaced half way through our stay. Pool towels were provided and good quality shampoo and shower gel in the bathrooms. The air con was efficient and quiet. Gerasimo was the perfect host, responding to any queries efficiently and pleasantly. We appreciated the welcome gifts and especially the delicious baklava baked by Gerasimo's wife and delivered on our last day. Kefalonia is a beautiful island and this was the perfect villa to enjoy it from.

Our stay in the house of Harel was fantastic. Plenty of privacy, opportunities to sit in the shade as well as in the sun. Comfortable home, cozy furnishings. Everything was present as in the advertisement. The view from the terrace was perhaps the most beautiful of the house. Access to the beach within walking distance via a staircase with a considerable number of steps. There are also a number of restaurants here. In short, a must if you want to stay in Vasiliki.

Great apartment with a wonderful view of the valley and sea from the terrace. Landlady Hermina was super friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, the beach of Petani around the corner. Nothing was missing, some coffee was available on arrival. We were very satisfied, it was very quiet at the beginning of June, great for relaxing. We only used the kitchen sparingly, but it was well equipped. Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable.

Octopus Garden stands out as one of our all time favourite Airbnb locations! Ideal in every way! My son and I felt instantly at home! Agia Effimia is a tranquil, cozy village away from it all, yet Argostoli was an easy drive that we made several times to beauty spots on the other side of Kefalonia. The proximity to Sami was a massive plus, as there are tons of sights and lovely shopping. The house is spacious and had everything that one could possibly need. My son enjoyed having his own bedroom and bathroom. The wash machine was extremely handy. Thank you so much for leaving so many goodies for us. It was nice not to have to run out immediately for supplies and groceries. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, as the restaurants in town were amazing! Amalia and Cafe Fior D’amore were our go-to’s. I will miss doing my yoga on the terrace overlooking the bay and listening and to the morning song. We loved the sweet, black cat who always greeted us and shared our sun spots!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anna Maria's apartment in Fiskardo. The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. It is a very calming environment. This is the second time we have stayed here and would certainly come back again. It is simple but elegant and in a fantastic location for exploring Fiskardo. We met Anna Maria (who is lovely!) There are loads of cats in the square ❤️

We felt right at home. The accommodation was exactly as described and in very good condition. There is also a daily cleaning service. Even the check-in at a late hour went smoothly. We will be happy to come back!

Penelope’s Villa is excellent. We felt very much at home there. Spiros met us and took our luggage to the villa. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and very well cared for. We appreciated the home made gifts very much. Bed linen and towels were changed 3 times during our 14 night stay and cleaning standards were excellent. The views of Kioni are breathtaking. The villa is only a 10/15 minute walk away from the village by steps or road. There are great places to eat and drink around the waterside. Penelope’s communication was excellent and she gave us good recommendations for eating places in Vathy and places to visit, she really cares about her visitors and ensuring that they are happy. We would definitely stay here again.

WOW! This Villa was insane, unimaginably beautiful, the views are unparalleled. We all had the best time, such a relaxing and peaceful place. The pool is a great size, cold as we were out if season but still great! We couldn't fault the villa at all, it had everything we needed! What absolutely made our stay was our host, Spiros, he was simply the best. Very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about us having a great time. He recommended the best places to see, things to do and locations to eat. Nothing was too much trouble for him when we made requests and we liked him so much, we invited him to have a drink at a local bar with her (he recommend the place and it was fantastic) he was a great laugh, he is an absolute credit to Diodati Villas! The villa is enough to make us want to return but Spiros has made us all start thinking about when we can return. Thank you for making our holiday so magical, especially because my wife & I were celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary

We had an amazing week at Mint Villa. The pool was bigger than it looks in the photos and the villa is oozing with charm. Kids had the room at the top of the tower all to themselves which they loved and our main room was very comfortable with stunning views. Overall an exceptional Villa in a stunning location overlooking the bay below and the quaint port of Vasiliki.

A beautiful penthouse apartment with a spectacular view. The apartment is tastefully decorated with a modern design. Was a perfect base for exploring Kefalonia.

One of the BEST airbnbs I’ve stayed at. It was so clean and the space felt very safe. The pool was gorgeous and well-maintained. The hosts were extremely friendly and went above and beyond helping us with our travels. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Lefkada. :)

This is the perfect holiday destination and property. Gloria met us for check in and everything was explained to us with clear instructions beforehand and with friendly and excellent communication. Olivo is great house for a perfect beach holiday. Very clean and tidy with those little extras I love when the host leaves you the basic essentials like tp, paper towels, soap, washing liquids it makes a huge difference. Not to mention a bottle of wine, water and other little treats. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. It is right across the road and from the ocean, restaurants and grocery shops all within 5 minutes walking distance. There are many other restaurants to choose from right along the seafront again all within walking distance. Sami is a perfect location to visit the best parts of the island with a car or you could stay in Sami without a car and hop on a ferry across the road and explore another island.

We stayed before the tourist season had started and meganissi is beautifully quiet and peaceful at this time although no restaurants are open. Χρυσουλα’s house is located right in the centre of the Vathy harbour area and is a moments walk to bakers and supermarket. The house is spotless and Χρυσουλα went out of her way to make sure we were checked in and had all we need. Lovely host and lovely traditional Vathy house.

Joanna's Seaside House is beautiful and we loved it the moment we walked in. It has all you need to relax in beautiful Meganisi. You can sit outside all day if you wish and watch the world go by in the harbour and walk to all the restaurants and supermarkets and shops with ease. The property is a stones throw from everything you need and all flat so great for the not so fit. It suits all ages from the elderly to the young (my son would love to live there all year round!). Everything was easy to find and Ellie, who was on call with any issues was so lovely. Definitely going back !

This charming 100-year-old stone house is a true gem nestled in the tranquil slopes of Sfakiotes village on Lefkada Island. The peaceful surroundings, away from the busy tourist spots, make it perfect for relaxation, yet it’s conveniently close to the island's beautiful beaches and villages. It was a perfect getaway for us looking to experience the authentic beauty and tranquility of Lefkada Island. We will definitely come back! Thanks a lot dear Evelina and Manolia! Fantastic finale to our holiday! Beautiful style and so many thoughtful details from the welcome pack to the bread, only sadness is we didn’t get a chance to use the amazing BBQ but we hope to be back and invite the village! Christina also extremely helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was wonderful, and the view from the terrace during breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. We felt very welcome and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Poros.
