House holiday rentals in Mecosta County

This location was beautiful. The amenities were fun, and the only thing missing was enough time to do them all. Jonathan was responsive and the house was small, but plenty spacious for 10 people if you like each other. There was always some spot an introvert could go to be alone for a while. Wonderful stay.

Very nice place and very clean. Had everything you need

Cheryl’s home was great for our family with young grandchildren. The sand provided hours of building and pretending fun. The sandy beach and shallow water depth was perfect for all the children from 2-8. They really loved jumping off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boats gave us time on the water. The large level grassy backyard was excellent for softball and tag. The bunk room was great for the grandkids to sleep together, leaving 4 bedrooms for adults. There was a pack n Play and a high chair for the youngest. There were many toys and games to play. The house hade cute decore with special touches to welcome us everywhere. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The leather sectional was cozy for all of us. We also loved the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We would like to have had more beach seating. The last two plastic Adirondack chairs were fatally cracked. I’m sure those are on Cheryl’s list to replace soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us Cheryl.

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday as our family lives right across the street. The property could not have been more accommodating with location and was supplied with everything we needed. The host Kristi was great to work with!! We would definitely recommend and we will certainly be staying again in the future.

Host was very responsive to questions/needs as they came up. Was very accurate with description on property. Definitely would consider staying here again.

This place was very nice and clean. ME and my family had a get time. We felt right at home. They had everything you can think of there for you to use. The beach was right across the street, we used both pools which the kids loved. The lake and property are beautiful. Very responsive. Thank you for everything we joined every part of our stay. We will forsure be back.

We enjoyed a lovely stay on Roger’s Pond. Zachary was very responsive and made us feel at home! We wanted a relaxing weekend and that’s exactly what we got! The view of the river did not disappoint and the view of the sunsets were spectacular. We loved that we had access to kayaks to explore the river.

Our family had a great time staying at Floyds property for our family Christmas. Floyd had the house set up with Christmas decorations and music playing upon our arrival. He ensured we had enough seating at the dining room table and the supplies we needed for our group as we had discussed those things prior. Floyd was very responsive and helpful through the whole process and we would be more then happy to return to this property for another vacation. Grey, the cat, was a great addition to our stay and my teen daughter loved having her company through our stay.

Great location in Big Rapids - walkable to downtown, FSU campus and right by the library that has a nice childrens park. Everything is new and very clean in the home. Beds were comfy and we had a peaceful night sleep! The lovely front porch with rocking chairs will have to wait for next time since we had so much snow! Josh responded right away to and was friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for hosting us.

Loved our stay here, peaceful & relaxing. Beautiful little patio to grill & enjoy the hot tub. We visited a local donut shop & Amish farm while staying here and got some delicious sweet treats, plus plenty of state parks & lakes near the area to see! Overall would highly recommend the host/location, thank you for having us!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Lakefront Paradise with Boat rental Wolverine retreat completely exceeded our expectations! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained — but what really set it apart was the access to the boat. Being able to hop in and explore the lake whenever we wanted was such a treat and added a whole new level of fun to the trip. The house itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water and spending afternoons cruising around, swimming, and fishing and the ability to pull the boat up to a restaurant and dock for dinner was so awesome! The sunsets from the boat on the way back from dinner were absolutely stunning. The boat was in great condition and easy to use, with safety gear and clear instructions provided by the host. It was such a unique and valuable perk — much better than having to rent from a marina! Our host was responsive, friendly, and made everything seamless

Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us! The home was super clean, spacious, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. Being right on the lake was such a treat—we especially appreciated the kayaks and paddleboard, which made it easy to explore the water and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. My son brought his fishing boat, and we loved that we could dock it right at the property for the duration of our stay. We were out on the water 2–3 times a day, taking full advantage of the great fishing and beautiful lake views. We caught plenty of walleye, crappie, bass, catfish, pike, and bluegill! This place was ideal for me and my adult kids. We kayaked, paddleboarded, fished, worked on puzzles, played games, and ended each night with a campfire and s’mores. It was everything we hoped for and more. We'd definitely love to come back!

Beautiful Victorian home - perfectly situated. We all slept great and Micheal was very responsive and helpful. If you are visiting big rapids, this is a unique cool quirky home next to the beautiful Hemlock park/muskegon river. Scott

It is a beautiful air b and b and the view is gorgeous! It fit 12 of us perfectly and we had such a great time celebrating a friend. Zachary is a great host! I highly recommend staying here:).

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful riverside retreat in Stanwood! It was the perfect spot for our family gathering—peaceful, spacious, and surrounded by nature. The home was spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and games and even amenities for our dog. Our dog was just as happy as we were, with plenty of space to explore and enjoy the outdoors. The views of the river were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. We loved sitting out on the deck, listening to the water and catching up with family. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, yet cozy enough to feel connected. The hosts were friendly, incredibly thoughtful and responsive, and made the entire process seamless from booking to check-out. If you’re looking for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway for a family or group, we highly recommend this gem. We’d love to return someday!

Adorably comfortable modern home on Canadian Lakes. We had a wonderful time here! The house had everything one would need, and plenty of space for our larger group. Susan, the property manager, made our stay effortless and was so nice and helpful in every way, even responding over the weekend to the couple of questions we had. Even the neighbors were super nice! We definitely will be back for a longer stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Canadian Lakes cottage. It was beautiful, practical; full of everything we needed. We never went w/o. The surroundings were so beautiful and full of so much to do. Whether you need to relax or be all in for water activities, this is your place. We absolutely appreciate the host of the cottage and their home. We are grateful.
