Everything was great! Clean, quiet, comfortable. Check in and check out were both very easy. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This was a great house to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to put on a big family dinner. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The dock was nice and provided a beautiful scene. It was too cold to take advantage of the lake, but the view was great. My suggestion to you if you plan on staying here is bring everything you need... closest store or restaurant is more than 20 minutes away.

Andrew's house was exactly as described and depicted. It is well-outfitted for guests, both inside and outside. His communication was outstanding both in terms of response times (pretty much immediate replies) and providing information. His house manual is probably the best one I have seen. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely hope to rent his home again.

Natalie & Nanette were very responsive & accommodating hosts! We had great weather for the week & we very much enjoyed the quiet location! The screened in back porch recived a lot of use from our group! I would highly recommend this place to those wanting to visit the Lake Gaston area!

We absolutely loved Brian and Michele‘s place. The location was perfect – so close to the winery and so close to the lake. We were up here for a family gathering over Easter weekend and the entire setting really helped us achieve our Easter goals of being with family and having fun. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful waterfront property on Lake Gaston. Private setting, awesome fishing from the dock, nearby Holly Grove and Poplar Creek boat launches. Extremely comfortable house with everything you need. Screened in porch is awesome for relaxing nights (without the bugs!). Fast responsive communication from host. Would highly recommend this home if you're looking for peaceful, quiet area. Brand new DG market opened up (on route 903 near Holly Grove Marina) during our stay which was another local source for supplies.

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

Cooper’s landing is always amazing stay! This was my third time staying and every single time has been accommodating to our needs in every way: from dinner reservations (and all of our indecisions), to dietary needs (vegetarian), to early morning breakfast needs and so much more. All staff members are easy to communicate with, polite and friendly.

Cute cottage and a cute town. Ended up booking during the town’s annual lake fest and very nice. Great cottage and was a bed a breakfast. Bonus although we were there for the lake so went out early the days we were there. Would book again

My colleague and I stayed here for work, but we both agreed it would be a nice place to vacation! The house was very cozy and clean, and our host Nichol was kind and welcoming. Definitely a nice place to get away for a while!

Amazing house and location, bunch of games and activites, shame there wasn't an option to hire or use a kayak at the house.

This was a beautiful place that accommodated my family for Christmas. This was a midpoint location for my family to meet. It was great that everything was on the main floor for my elderly parents. It would be great to either have walkin showers or grab- bars for the tub. The view of the lake and sunset were amazing.

From start to finish, my experience with Jeremiah was great. He responded very quickly with all communication. He was helpful with the few questions I had and did a great job with everything. The house is better than the pictures reflect. Everything was clean, staged perfectly, and the hard wood floors are gorgeous, they were exactly like my previous home actually. The downstairs game room was a bonus. There was a part of one of the days my son and I couldn’t kayak due to high winds, so we played basketball and life-sized connect four (he won every time, but I caught more fish 😊). My son, our dog, and I had the most wonderful time. We watched the sunset each evening while sitting on the stairs leading down to the dock. My dog of 8 1/2 years has cancer, so we used this trip as a celebration of his life while he’s still healthy. He loved it. My son and I sat and talked about life and our goals. Staying here was truly a special moment, for us.

This place is just as listed and more. An extremely nice, clean, quiet, comfortable apartment above the garage. It fits the need perfectly to spend time on the lake. The host, Robin was helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We were staying for the weekend to fish a BASS fishing tournament and the use of the dock allowed us to leave our boat in the water without the head ache of loading and unloading each day and night. Robin allowed us access to the private community boat ramp to load and unload also which kept us away from the heavy traffic at the local boat ramp. I would absolutely recommend this place to any angler wanting a place to stay on the lake by boat. Anytime I visit Lake Gaston in the future I'll be checking to see if this place is available, well worth the money.

We loved our stay at Sandcastle. The lake view is beautiful and we enjoyed being around all of the waterfowl on the lake as well as walking with the deer in the morning with our dog Jake. The sandy beach area is great when the water level is not too high. You always have a dock to sit on and enjoy the great view of Kerr Lake. Jan is a great host. All of the comforts of home!

walking in was like stepping into your own personal retreat. private, quite,and peaceful. Great view off the porch as well as from inside the house. Great location for a recharge and stepping away from the madness of life. the boat house is amazing and a great place to watch the sunset.
