The Allegheny Retreat is our home in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is furnished to make long term stays enjoyable for one or two families with children. There are 2 large bedrooms with quality mattresses and linens. A third bedroom has a bunk bed for children. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and another with a tub, which is great for kids. The kitchen is equipped with a quality gas stove and cookware. Or BBQ and relax on the deck with gas grill and outdoor furniture.

We enjoyed our two-night stay. The house was exactly what we needed it to be. Everything in the house is dated, but charmingly so. We were sad at the lack of a toaster, as we were only really around for breakfast, but we survived. The only full bath being off the kitchen would be a little awkward for a longer stay, but we had no trouble. The house has loads of space to enjoy. It's a fun house in a charming small town.

Very nice, very clean Swedish-looking house, with a very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds (sorry for too many verys but I'm not a great writer and very is a good adverb). Definitely worth the money plus John & Carol somehow managed to arranged a great weather for our 3 days in Kane!

Jeff’s place was by far the best Air nB we have stayed in! It was a beautiful place in pristine condition. We were right beside the trailhead so we could ride right in to the forest. The trails are well taken care of and just so lush with ferns and flowers. The Westline Restaurant is a must and the food and service does not disappoint! Although we didn’t get to build a fire due to evening rain, we really enjoyed sitting on the beautiful porch catching up !
