Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in McGregor

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Sue is a fantastic and very sweet host! She was always quick to respond. The house had a lovely holiday feel to it.

Great accommodation. The place is beautiful. I would stay again anytime. Very responsive host. Walkable to Main Street restaurants and the grocery store.

A wonderful space and lovely hosts. We had a really, really enjoyable visit. The location is perfect. Quiet but close to everything, we walked up and down the Main Street many times! The space is lovely, we were able to open up the doors to the winter sun. Will return!!

This place is made to calm down and relax. It‘s far out the city and around 1km from the host‘s farm. There is no electricity in the house but candles and lamps… and a very nice hot tube. Heleen, our super friendly host, prepared hot water when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful recommendations around this place and was helpful for everything we needed. There‘s almost no light pollution allowing a nice and clear sky full of stars! We would highly recommend this place and definitely come again! Thanks a lot!

Had a wonderful stay! Was very peaceful and we could totally relax. Eveything was clean and we really appreciated the extra touches such as complimentary champagne! The kol-kol was the highlight!

I can confidently say that Mongoose Manor is the best place to stay in Franschhoek, whether it is summer or winter. We booked MM for a long weekend & had intended to spend our time hiking, but didn’t get further than a decadent lunch at Protégé, followed by a few hours in the local bookstore, after which we curled up in front of the crackling fireplace in the lounge & read. MM has become our place we escape to when feeling depleted & needing to nourish our souls. There’s nothing quite like lying in that enormous bed & watching a thunderstorm roll over the mountains in the distance, or sipping a glass of wine on the patio while observing the abundance of bird life or the hilariously mischievous squirrels outsmarting the local cat. Caro & Peer are unfailingly kind & generous, & the cottage is always stocked with yummy treats, but should you want to venture out, you are a 15mins walk from some of the top restaurants in SA & the high street. It honestly doesn’t get better than this.

The house was neat and tidy and the bedding was super soft. We had a very good stay and appreciated the housekeeper coming in mid stay to do a linnen swap for us. Would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the place was well situated, clean and had everything we needed. We look forward to visiting you again soon.

Eine schöne, süße Unterkunft. Für uns als kleine Familie (mit einer 4-Jährigen Tochter) reichte das vollkommen aus. Der kleine „Erfrischungs-Pool“ war für uns perfekt. Wenn man richtig kochen möchte, erscheint uns die Küche und die Möglichkeiten recht klein - aber man kann zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto (2min) zu einem tollen Restaurant (Deux Lions) kommen, in dem es von Fr-So ein tolles Frühstück gibt. Und sowieso die anderen Restaurants in der Stadt sind großartig und nicht weit entfernt.

We had a wonderful stay with Marelize and Dawie! The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The unit was perfect, spacious and the fireplace was a big bonus for us. The location is absolutely perfect and ideal for anyone wanting to visit Franschhoek and all the surrounding wine farms. 100% would recommend!

We had a great stay in Montagu. Kotie was very helpful and pointed out a few activities and restaurants that we could do and go to. the cottage was clean and well equipped.

Stunning location and within walking distance to the main areas of interest. Lovely home, will definitely stay there again

Esther is a gracious host, very hospitable and helpful, and the apartment is very nicely situated, a short walk to the Cliff Path, beaches, and amenities. We felt comfortable and safe, and enjoyed all the conveniences, including a "braai" outside om the patio and a washing machine in the garage :-) Were we to return to Hermanus in the future, we would definitely like to stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definately book here again. The hosts were fantastic and very gracious.

Everything about our stay at Kevin's apartment was perfect and Monica, Kevin's onsite manager, was very helpful throughout. Our only regret ... that the stay was for 3 nights only. Next time round we must stay for longer!

Gideon & Jayne helped me out when my in-laws were mis-treated at another place, they helped us out and the unit was available within an hour of the enquiry/booking. Was as per the descriptions and photos, neat and clean. Close to Dutchies and Grotto beach for lovely lunches and walks on the beach. Lyn & Peter thoroughly enjoyed there stay with you, thank you!

Prachtig appartement en fijne locatie. Bedden wel erg hard. Zou het zeker aanraden en wij komen nog eens terug.

Great place to stay and location, really nice secure and safe apartment. Friendly checkin from Ian with great recommendations! Only setbacks is there seems to be a an extractor fan on constantly in the bathrooms with no way of turning them off which affected my friends sleep as he is a light sleep. Hot water was a bit temperamental as well with it not being red hot more of Luke warm temperature. Other than that lovely place to stay and will be back if we come here again! Thanks!

Absolutely beautiful studio in a fantastic location. Super cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip to Hermanus. Host Jeanne was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Jeanne, it was perfect!

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!

We loved every moment of our stay! Nadia is friendly, warm, and helpful. The accommodation is the perfect balance of homely and comfortable with touches of luxury; and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. It's spotlessly clean, has an amazing bath and shower, full kitchen, and we enjoyed the games left in the living room! There is another cottage directly next door - we were lucky in that no one was staying there at the time. But I imagine it may be a bit less private / noisier depending on who your neighbours are! Thank you Nadia, we'll definitely be back!
