Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mbezi Beach B

Nice apartment set back from the road in a lovely green tree-shaded compound. The accommodation was very clean and well-supplied, with daily maid service. The compound is secure, with 24-hour guard. Housekeeping staff are always available. The location on the peninsula is very convenient, just across from Slipway and only about ten minutes walk to Village supermarket and other amenities. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment, close to pretty much everything. We had a couple issues with the bathroom and the maintenance guys were very quick to do the repair. I will definerly look to stay here when l return in March if it's available.

We had a very nice stay in Oyster Bay! The apartment is very spacious and the complex is beautiful. Gloria was a great host: very responsive and helped us with our requests. We will stay again if we are back in Dar es Salaam.

We brought a large group to stay at Prisca's place for two weeks. Prisca was very communicative and extremely accommodating. She purchased additional mattresses, sheets, and towels for our group. She purchased a water dispenser for us when we requested one. There were some problems in the house during our stay (which is common in Tanzania), but her local staff were quick to help us. The house is massive and can accommodate a lot of people and has A/Cs and water heaters throughout. The kitchen is big but not particularly well stocked; we needed to buy a bunch of our own utensils in order to properly cook for so many people. The location is pretty far north of Dar, but it was worth it for the great price and Prisca's great service.

Stayed 9 nights with my husband (June 2025). Great communication. Got collected at the airport by Suileman (sorry if spelling is wrong!)..we had a hire car so husband followed us behind..would be very hard to find otherwise. We were greeted by Said and Josephine with fresh coconuts... the house is just like the photos. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful gardens and clean pool with incredible views. Incredibly clean..bedrooms were gorgeous as was the bathrooms. Everything you may need was included. Staff were so helpful. Said took my husband out to show us where to buy bread. There are 2 local supermarkets...very expensive and mostly sold UK products! Air-conditioning upstairs but not down..I was incredibly hot. There are fans but still humid and hot. All in all..a fantastic holiday. The beach by villa isn't the best..very rocky..but beautiful views from patio area. Watch out for bugs and lizards.. but that's Africa! A truly memorable holiday. We will return one day. Easy 5 stars.

We rented a two floor apartment at Villa Mina for a month. It was spacious and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The views from both balconies were spectacular. There were loungers and beds to use which gave a little extra privacy from the beach sellers. Lots of choice of nearby restaurants. Breakfasts were excellent with coffee and freshly made fruit juice, fruit, eggs to order and a variety of pastries and breads. There is a swimming pool that can be used about a 5-minute walk away, which my girls enjoyed. Mina and everyone there are very friendly and will help with anything you ask. They made us very welcome. It felt like a home-from-home, only with a spectacular beach in front. We would love to return and hopefully will!

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

This place is absolutely perfect! Far away from the city to where you can relax right on the water, but still close enough to do things in Stone Town. Michelle helped to arrange our pickup from the airport, tours, and even our COVID tests to return to our home country. All of staff were very friendly and responsive, especially the chef with dealing with my food allergies. The staff also stocked the refrigerator with soda, beer, and wine, so no need to really stop and grab anything. If you are celebrating a special occasion or just want an experience, book the beach bbq with the staff. Everything was absolutely perfect!!

Amazing location with endless beachfront right out the front door. Tons of restaurants within a short walk. Pool was amazing, cleaning crew was super great, and cleaned multiple times a day. Included breakfasts were amazing, but we didn’t pay extra to eat lunch or dinner there, since almost all other nearby locations were cheaper.

This Airbnb was perfect for a getaway from Dar. It is far enough out to feel like you have traveled (but not too far to feel you can’t afford the travel expense). The rooms are so beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new for a quaint, beach feel. The kitchen… oh I will dream of this kitchen for the rest of my life! The staff was helpful and kind. The communication was quick and clear. Need to get away but don’t want to go too far… this is the place for you!

Beautiful place, just as the pictures show. Super peaceful. Close to the beach. Nice yard with nice plants, chickens, fruit trees. Halima, Wase, and Jonas were very helpful and communicative. Only two small things to be mindful of: plan ahead with Halima on wifi and directions to the location (though my Uber may just have had trouble finding it). It didn’t take away from the experience at all and she was very helpful when I asked, but I could’ve been better about asking earlier. Regardless, I would 100% recommend the place and would love to come back

For us Marias place was an oasis of tranquility, peace and beauty... the colorful, rich and lovingly cared garden, a very comfortable pool, conscitious house cleaning, an incredible rooftop with nice breeze and the possibility to take a shower upstairs were amazing. Another Great Stay! We recently stayed at this property for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as our first visit! The accommodation was perfect for our family, and we loved being just a 10 minute's walk from the beach. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand. The hosts were always welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back again! Asante sana Mariam!

I had a peaceful and pleasant stay thanks to the entire team at LEN Apartments. Loice was very efficient in organizing everything so that I didn’t lack anything. Not to mention the caretakers, who were very responsive and kind. I will come back if I pass through Tanzania again. Recommending for business and leisure travels, located in residential suburbs with all amenities available….closer to the restaurants and shopping malls , ATM’s and all type of transportation…We recommend Magdalena place

Me and my family completely fell in love with this apartment! The size of the apartment is incredible and was family friendly for our little boy to run around and feel free. The bedrooms were great size, and don’t get me started on the views, especially the view from the master bedroom balcony! We were more than happy on the location of this apartment as it was round the corner from a supermarket that’s friendly to both locals and foreigners. You are only a short taxi ride away from well known restaurants such as The Waterfront or the Seacliff hotel. The security downstairs made me feel safe, and once they were familiar with our faces, we always felt greeted with a friendly smile. The pool is covered from the sun, but we found this family friendly. My only constructive criticism is that it could do with a fresh lick of paint just to refresh and show off how stunning it really is. And some extra towels in the bedrooms. I will be booking again in future, thanks again Zain.

This was our fourth stay at Hans’ place. It’s become our go to landing place when visiting Dar. The location couldn’t be better with great restaurants nearby and a supermarket in the same building.
