Everything was excellent, just a little difficult to get to the pool.

This was a great place for our family. Nothing fancy but very confortable. Our kids loved the pool even after full days at the beach. Air conditioning was welcome and we enjoyed all the space. Great view, could hear the waves as we relaxed at night and we enjoyed the hammocks. As well, Perla and her crew were amazing - our son got sick on the day we had to check out and Perla let us relax in another space she had and store our bags while we decided what to do- she would have let us stay if there had not been another booking. Totally recommend, and we will be back!

Private, clean and well looked after. Don’t expect a lot of amenities in area if that’s what you are looking for. Small village with only the basics and few places to eat which may or may not be open. Plan to be self reliant or willing to travel to dine out. Beautiful area.

Nice place! The cart was indispensable to go to the beach as there was no other alternative but very quick and easy! Very beautiful house, with the incredible support of Jorge.

Our stay at Tres Leches was exceptional. Everything from the property layout and landscaping, to the design details, to the cleaning and care, to the proactive communication were meticulously executed. And the pool was just magic - perfect temp for a cooler morning swim and a warmer evening hang - with a view of the lush nature surrounding. Keep in mind that Zipolite is hot and there is a rustic nature to Tres Leches, very much by design. The units’ walls don’t meet the ceiling so you will see bugs but with a little thoughtfulness (lights off, food away, mosquito net tucked) it’s a fun adventure. We even saw a toad the size of a cat outside one night. It could barely jump up the stairs! The only other thing guests should note is that the hill to get up to the property is quite steep, so be prepared to huff a little when coming back from the beach - great to work off all those drinks you’ll be enjoying. Overall Tres Leches was an amazing getaway, thanks Adam & Faustino for making it!

Beautiful house with amazing view of the Puerto Angel bay. The pool is small but very well kept. The outdoor dining space is huge, super nice having your breakfast there with a view to the ocean. The refrigerator is kind of old, not strong enough to counter the intense Oaxacan heat. Food won't last for more than a day before it goes bad. Drinking water will not be cool enough, but the freezer works fine so you can make ice cubes. The area is super quiet. The downside to this is that there aren't as many shops and restaurants nearby. For that you'll need to go down to Zipolite or Mazunte. If you don't have a car you'll need to use the local taxis which only take cash, so make sure to bring enough cash for this (we ended up spending about MXN$ 600 a day in taxis). Make sure to get back before 10pm, as it's really hard to get a taxi after that.

I can’t say enough about this incredible two-bedroom ocean-view villa in Huatulco, as it exceeded every expectation. The location is private and secluded—perfect for unwinding and disconnecting. I felt completely safe and at peace the entire time. The villa itself is beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The furniture is stylish and comfortable, and all the modern amenities made it feel like a home away from home. Everything worked flawlessly—from the kitchen appliances to the Wi-Fi. The private pool was the ultimate luxury. I spent hours lounging poolside with the sound of the ocean in the background, and the view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. Whether I was enjoying a morning tea or watching the sunset, every moment felt special. This place is ideal for anyone looking for a quiet, rejuvenating escape. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my return.

We aimed for a privare destination with beautiful views, far enough from crowded towns on the coast of Oaxaca. Casa Xida provided extraordinary views of a very special piece of nature…a lovely wide stretch of ocean, great whale watching, and spectacular sunrises. Close access to small, quiet La Boquilla beach which was literally an easy ten minute hike away was so appreciated. The drive to bigger surf Zipolite beach was easy, as was the shopping and varied food scene in Mazunte. Beds were so comfortable, cooking easy in the well-appointed kitchen. Bedrooms provided great privacy. Beli was totally responsive to our few calls. We were so satisfied with our stay at Casa Xida. Can’t wait to return. Millones de gracias, Reto! Buen año. Casa Ebano is a treasure. The home is absolutely gorgeous, and the views overlooking the beach from the terrace are breathtaking! It is only a 1/2 mile walk to the beach, but is a very steep and bumpy dirt road. The beach and swimming definitely worth it! We highly recommend having the caretaker, Paco and his wife, Yolanda, cook for you! They prepared us a fabulous fish dinner! We like our stay and you will, too! .

An excellent place, very comfortable, with a good view and quiet to have a good vacation, we would definitely return!

Very good stay with family, with a young child. The space was functional, with what we need for a beach stay. And most importantly, a beautiful beach was a 5-minute walk away. From here it is possible to visit other beaches or do various activities (surfing, mangrove visit and crocodile or turtle protection sites, etc.) Raquel is very kind, very responsive during the various questions asked and very efficient to resolve a bug when booking. So we had a very nice stay and we'll be happy to come back!

The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

An amazing oasis paradise with the most gorgeous view. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and connected with nature, even saw a friendly squirrel :)

The experience in this house was unparalleled. The location is simply perfect, with stunning views of the beach and direct access to two beautiful beaches. The house comes with everything you need and is very comfortable, with super nice touches. The host was extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to help with whatever was needed. It's definitely a place I'd go back to and highly recommend.

Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay at Casa Aquila. The property was well equipped with everything we needed, private, and clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for a place away from it all, to observe the power and sound of the ocean, watch whales in the day and the stars at night while relaxing on a hammock/deck, then this property will absolutely serve your purpose. As noted in other reviews, the architecture is stunning and integrated into a hillside, but it's not for those with mobility issues or necessarily young children. My wife, son and I enjoyed the location very much. Prepare and plan for your arrival with food/supplies if you intend to stay in place, otherwise expect some logistics to seek out alternatives. We recommend renting a capable vehicle (SUV), arriving during daylight hours when you first come as the road is rough and a bit off the beaten path, but as is often the case, this is how and where you find unexpected treasures and memorable experiences. Danizhu was an excellent host to deal with and offered good suggestions for accessing local amenities. Cheers, Mike

This property was the PERFECT getaway for me and my friends to celebrate my birthday. We were given lots of privacy, but the host was there to help us out whenever we needed something. I loved staying here and will absolutely return.

Bianca is an amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. The loft is gorgeous, spacious clean and awesome for exploring Zipolite and neighbouring beaches. Highly recommend ❤️

A great place to stay, it was our kids first experience of the beach and the house was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach but also far enough away from loud music and parties. it was warm but the fans and outdoor space really helped, a great cabin to stay in.

We loved our stay at la Casa del Pintor! The house exceeded our expectations based on the pictures- it was perfect for our group of friends. We loved the open layout, the breeze and sound of the waves coming through the screened windows, the kitchen was great for cooking big meals, the pool was lovely. Playa Mermejita is magical and the location was perfect. We felt very taken care of by Cecelio and Nene, great drinks by Jose, a fabulous home cooked lunch from Mercedes. Our stay in Mazunte was so special- we will be back!

The place is uphill from the beach, but easily accessible by foot. There's a supermarket close by, and a lot of small shops in town. The place was clean, and it had everything you needed to cook food. WiFi was great, the balcony spacious with the views of the street, but private. We were able to wash clothes, and Reyna gave us homegrown fruit - it was delicious.
