We spent a few days at this wonderful place last week, and it was truly a dream. We were looking for peace and rest, and we found exactly that—and so much more. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, the surroundings are beautiful, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy. The view and the nature around us felt like a dream come true. We felt deeply connected to the environment, and even though the pictures are beautiful, they simply can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. It’s something you have to experience for yourself. The hosts were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth and stress-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’re extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended if you need to recharge in a peaceful, welcoming environment!

Contact and reception were very friendly. Suitable for large families. Children and adolescents were able to occupy themselves very well with the available toys and equipment, such as billiard table, kicker, table tennis in the building. Great covered barbecue area and fireplace available. We enjoyed the stay in the Backesgarten very much.

It was a very nice stay and we felt comfortable at all times. The animals on the farm were also very trusting. Nowhere else can you find more nature and digital detox.

The cottage was ideal for our getaway with children ( 1 and 4 years ). The garden with mud kitchen, trampoline and sandbox as well as the many games and play equipment inside is just great. The swing in the living room, a highlight. There was nothing missing in the kitchen. Only the steep stairs to the bedrooms took some getting used to. The large playground on the premises also had plenty of equipment and vehicles. It's just a pity that the swimming pool hadn't opened yet. The contact with Torgund was very good. Thank you again for the wonderful time.

Philippe is a superhost. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything. It feels like you're home. The garden is also beautifully landscaped. For me personally, the most beautiful air bnb I have stayed in. Philippe explained everything well and responded extremely quickly to our messages. The area is very nice. Top location with nice terrace. Very good amenities. The landlords live in the basement. Ideal for a family with 2 children. However, since the bedroom upstairs is completely open and has no ventilation, the house is not optimal for 2 couples.

The house is small and lovingly furnished, that's all you need. The surroundings are fantastic and there is a lot to discover. Definitely too short for 3 days, we will come back

Ralf and Ramona are excellent hosts with great communication, and the house is just as described. Clean, tidy and with plenty of amenities like a washer and dryer, front and rear patio with a BBQ and shutters on the windows to keep the house cool on a hot day. Highly recommend.

We spent five days in Christiane's very tasteful cottage. In fantastic weather, we enjoyed the garden (perfect with deck chairs, hammock and covered dining area)🪴 and the cool house. The kitchen was very well equipped and we lacked nothing. The beds were super comfortable and we felt very comfortable in the very quiet environment. We used the car for excursions, as the distances to the next town or other excursion destinations were a little further away, as announced. But that wasn't a problem for us. One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in. Beautiful and quiet place, I really felt at home. I had everything, a complete house. We also found good restaurants nearby. We were a group of 5 people from Brazil and everyone was very satisfied. I would always return to this house.

We were in our old homeland for a family celebration and stayed in this beautiful, winding half-timbered house. The house offers sufficient space for the specified number of people, has two bathrooms and was very clean upon our arrival. All the features listed in the description were fully available. The contact with Vicki went smoothly, quickly and was very friendly. We can recommend this accommodation with full conviction.

Susanne and Vilmar's place is amazing. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the daily routine. We spent the whole day in the patio, enjoying the whirlpool and the barbecue. The surroundings are beautiful, with lots of options to make strolls. The kids haven't been bored in the entire stay! Susanne and Vilmar are also the perfect hosts. They are very kind and helpful, and they provide a folder with a lot of recommendations and instructions for the stay. We recommend it 200% and we will stay there again soon! Just love it!

Very nice accommodation, certainly redone recently so very clean, tastefully decorated. The equipment in terms of appliances and utensils is perfect! Ideal for 4 people although the two bedrooms are communicating: guests in bedroom 2 pass through bedroom 1 to get to the rest of the accommodation. We booked this accommodation before going to Phantasialand because it's less than 10 minutes from the park so it's great!

We had a wonderful break from everyday life and were able to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The garden is lovingly designed and excellently equipped – even in bad weather we could comfortably stay outside and, for example, play a round of darts, which was a lot of fun. We really lacked nothing. The kitchen equipment is particularly noteworthy - everything has been thought of here. The induction stove is ingenious, so cooking almost became a highlight. The accommodation was very well maintained, cozy and with many small details that made the stay particularly pleasant. We would love to come back anytime and just love it!

It was a fantastically beautiful short vacation that we had in Caroline's home. Starting with the warm welcome, the tasteful and perfectly clean apartment to the fantastic location. You have the feeling of being alone in the middle of the forest. The tranquility in combination with nature was the most important aspect for me. Caroline lives on the same premises and manages the balancing act between proactive hospitality and maintaining privacy. Our expectations were definitely exceeded.
