Aris und seine Familie haben uns vor Ort super freundlich begrüßt und uns alles im Haus gezeigt. Es gab zur Begrüßung sogar Wein, Wasser, Raki, Obst und eine Karte von der Umgebung. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, alles in der Küche, im Bad, Gewürze, genug Handtücher, gutes Internet, sogar heißes Wasser in der Aussendusche. Das Bett im hinteren Schlafzimmer war extrem bequem und alles schön dunkel und kühl. Die Badezimmer sind sauber und wir haben sogar eine Sonnencreme und After Sun gefunden. Nichts was wir vermisst haben. Das Haus liegt in einem abgelegenen Dorf auf der Hochebene von Kreta (ca. 35 min mit dem Auto hoch) - also einen Mietwagen benötigt man auf jeden Fall! Der Gastgeber war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und hat uns sogar noch eine zweite Flasche Wein und Kirschen bringen lassen. Die Nachbarn sind lieb und es gibt Restaurants, Tankstellen und einen Supermarkt in der Nähe. Absolute Empfehlung, wir würden wieder kommen. Danke für die wundervolle Zeit! Eugen & Pauli

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Snorkelling paradise! Nikos and the Stone House were both great. The house is small, but has everything you need, with the pool and BBQ area where we spent most of our time, and the steps down to the sea lead to a perfect spot for snorkelling, where we saw all sorts of types of sea life. Nikos was there with everything we needed, including recommendations of beaches / restaurants etc. Ierepetra is a much nicer town than people say and the Stone House is a 5 minute drive into town. You could walk, but we didn't. Would highly recommend!

We were met by Harry who showed us around and he was super responsive. Absolutely loved the house, even better than described, and the pool was so welcome after a day out. We particularly liked the sound of the goats on the hillsides too. The beaches at Xerocampos were wonderful and we really enjoyed Liviko View and Kostas tavernas (also in Xerocampos).

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit wahnsinnig toller Aussicht. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt. In den umliegenden Ortschaften sind sehr schöne Strände, welche kaum besucht waren sowie kleine Tavernen mit super leckerem und günstigem Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous sommes venus en famille pour quelques jours et nous avons été accueillis par la maman de Lefteris. L’accueil a été plus que agréable cette femme, respire la joie de vivre outre le AIRBNB on voit qu’elle fait ça car elle aime les gens. Nous avons pu discuter à plusieurs reprises avec Lefteris qui a toujours été hyper réactif, tout comme sa maman sur place. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et si nous repassons dans le coin, on hésitera pas à revenir. Encore merci pour tout et pour les prochains voyageurs. Profitez bien et réservez sans crainte.

Es war ein sehr sehr schöner Urlaub, wir konnten uns in dem schönen Haus super erholen die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Wenn wir Hilfe benötigten war immer jemand zu erreichen. Antworten kamen immer sehr schnell. Vielen Dank und wir kommen gerne wieder.☺️

Wir haben die Unterkunft sehr geliebt. Es war wunderschön direkt am Wasser zu sein und die kleinen Restaurants haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The view of the water is absolutely beautiful. The host was incredibly helpful and even assisted us in booking our car rental for the vacation. The place was clean and well-maintained. The location is also great, with restaurants just a short walk away.

I’m not sure where to start, this felt more like a 5 star hotel experience than Air BNB. Greeted by Dimitris’s lovely wife who showed us around the entire property! They’d left snacks and drinks in the fridge, gifts for us to enjoy and even amenities in the bathroom. The villa was absolutely spotless, not a spec of dust or dirt. The private beach area is like something from a movie and there are two sandy beaches less than 100m away that are also stunning. Dimitris was there for us day and night, answering any questions and helping us make the most of the holiday. We couldn’t ask for any more of a host, he and his wife are simply amazing people. The Villa is in an amazing location with a local restaurant around a 10 minute walk away and the town itself is also walkable however we chose taxis which Dimitris offered to arrange for us! He can even help you with a hire car and ensure you’re not a victim of tourist prices. You’ll be missing out if you don’t stay here!

Eine sehr schöne, moderne, komplett ausgestattete und komfortable Unterkunft. Erreichbarkeit zu Fuß vom Strand bzw Zentrum ist extrem beschwerlich (höchstgelegenes Haus in Sitia). Daher bei Wind auch extrem zugig auf den Terrassen. Außenbereich sehr karg. Es werden aber gerade einige Pflanzen gesetzt. Toller Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer. Ein paar Liegen und Sitzauflagen fehlen zum kompletten Wohlfühlen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert. Himweis auf nahe gelegenen Bäcker sollte in die tolle Hausmappe aufgenommen werden (Wir sind unnötig immer in die Stadt runter gefahren). Sitia und die schönen mit dem Auto in 25 Min erreichbaren Strände sind eine Reise wert. Auch der Stadtstrand mit günstigen Liegesers ist nett. Auf Vai kann man verzichten, da Touristenrummel. Beim Essen gehen hatten wir ausschließlich positive Erfahrungen

Me and my family had a wonderful time at Maria’s. The private balcony was amazing. Maria was a wonderful host providing us with lots of snacks and was very communicative. This is a great stay for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely stay again!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und die Unterkunft war super ausgestattet für die Kürze unseres Aufenthalts. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und super sauber. Die Veranda und die Aussicht ein tolles Highlight. Einziger Minuspunkt: Die stark befahrene Straße direkt vorm Haus. Leider ist es dadurch recht laut. Ansonsten war unsere Gastgeberin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank!

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Lage mit dieser schönen Aussicht direkt auf das Meer war hervorragend! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und den Kindern hat es auch super gefallen. Wir konnten uns immer an Karolos wenden und er hat uns super Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen gegeben. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Super Unterkunft welche ich unbedingt empfehle. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Den Strand hatten wir sozusagen für uns. Eftychia war immer gut erreichbar, mega hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Als Willkommensgeschenk hat sie uns frisches Gemüse, Früchte und Wein bereitgestellt. Alles war perfekt.

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne und erholsame Ferien in Dimitris Appartement. Die Wohnung ist traumhaft schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit qualitativ hochstehenden Möbel und es fehlt wirklich an gar nichts. Die Terasse hat einen einzigartigen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer und wir haben viele schöne Stunden dort verbracht. Dimitris ist super freundlich, stets erreichbar und mit hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants usw. hat er uns sehr geholfen. Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat er uns auch organisiert und es hat bestens geklappt. Auch die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind fussgängig gut erreichbar und die Busstation ist gleich auf der anderen Strassenseite. Wir können das Appartement wärmstens empfehlen, für uns das schönste bisher und wir werden gerne an die Zeit zurückdenken und bald mal wiederkommen.

Très bel endroit, maison très confortable et très facile à vivre, des livres pour entrer dans la région, un beau jardin, des oliviers, une plage à 3 minutes. Un village avec tout ce qui est nécessaire, des restaurants au bord de l’eau. Une semaine à aimer cet endroit. Merci pour l’excellente qualité de l’accueil.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. The place is idyllic, with a private swimming area only a few steps away. The house is decorated tastefully and gives a really nice indoor-outdoor feeling with the large patio and sliding doors. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with everything you might need to cook, including well-sharpened knives! Manolis brought us some fresh vegetables from the farm, which were delicious. Everything about the place is thoughtful and we loved our stay there. It is ideal for a trip where you want to spend a lot of time relaxing at the house and hanging out, it is so nice we barely wanted to leave!

Mai 2025, 10 Nächte Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind). Die Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Wunderschöner Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht. Sie bietet sehr viel Platz auch für mehr Personen (2 Paare, 4-6 Freunde, 2 Familien) und für längere Aufenthalte (Stauraum, Schränke und Regale, etc.). Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung und bietet, auch in der Küche, alles was man brauchen kann. Unser Highlight war die überdachte Terrasse. Unser Flug wurde kurzfristig vorverlegt. Ein deutlich früherer Check-In war in unserem Fall überhaupt kein Problem. Stelios ist ein sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und engagierter Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen Ihn und seine Villa ohne Einschränkung weiter. Kleine Einschränkung: die Unterkunft ist etwas ab vom Schuss bzw. die Region ist etwas zersiedelt (hauptsächlich wegen der Geographie des Geländes). Ohne eigenes Auto wird es etwas schwierig unserer Meinung nach. Einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es aber.

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

Wir haben uns sehr wohgefühlt. Die meiste Zeit haben wir auf der Terrasse verbracht. Die Wohnung ist praktisch eingerichtet - für ein einfaches Frühstück und Essen findet man alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, hatten sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten und Obst bereitgestellt. Sie haben uns auch eine nette Nachricht mit Ausflugstipps geschickt. Wir haben uns sofort in den Diaskari Beach verliebt - ein nicht so überlaufener (jedenfalls Anfang Juni) Strand, ca. 10 Autominuten entfernt mit einer netten Taverne und Hängematten am Strand.

Un séjour juste exceptionnel un logement au top du top. Plus que parfait tout était parfaitement propre et rangé. De nombreux équipements machine à laver avec lessive, lave vaisselle, étendoir. Frigo avec des collations. Une vue juste exceptionnelle. Giorgos a été très réactif dès que nous en avions besoin. Proximité de tout restaurant, de la mer. Giorgos est très arrangeant. On vous recommande à 200%. Merci pour ce séjour inoubliable.
