Everything about this place is top class. The house is absolutely lovely, beautifully furnished in a way that feels both traditional and homely. The location is stunning, a gorgeous commune surrounded by other lovely little towns with lots to see and do. The pool and the garden are fantastic, so nice that we actually ventured out far less than we had originally planned. Our daughters, aged 4 and 2, wanted to move in permanently! Last but not least, Andy and Jacqui are the perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. This was our first holiday since having kids and we are so, so pleased we chose here. We would love to return.

Le soleil périgourdin pendant trois jours, la jolie maison d’Yvette pendant trois nuits : le rêve devenu réalité. La beauté architecturale des constructions de Beaumontois, à laquelle celle d’Yvette contribue, participe du charme de ce joli village où l’on aime à flâner. Notre escapade en Dordogne sera donc marquée d’une pierre blanche.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Der Aufenthalt im kleinen Haus von Anne war außergewöhnlich schön! Wir wurden herzlich von Anne begrüßt, bei der man merkt, dass sie gerne Gäste hat. Das wunderschöne kleine Haus hat sie so eingerichtet, wie sie es für sich selbst machen würde. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail ausgesucht, das Bett unterm Dach ist bequem mit tollem Ausblick nach draußen, man findet guten Kaffee vor, Pflegemittel im Bad und sogar einen Grill mit Holzkohle und Anzündern. Als wir da waren, waren gerade die Feigen im Garten reif, die wir pflücken konnten - die Steinpilze aus dem Wald, eine gute Flasche Wein vom örtlichen Weingut, eine Reservierung im "Le Bistrot du Presbytère" (um die Ecke und spitze!), Anne hilft mit allem aus, um ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie nur möglich zu gestalten. Das Haus selbst und seine ganze Einrichtung sind so schön, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen, der Garten und die Möglichkeiten draußen zu sitzen ein Traum. Wir möchten am liebsten gleich wieder hinfahren!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

Lovely rustic home, as described and shown. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk into the village although a shame some of the restaurants have closed, so check if you intend to eat out, Le Chai is a lovely traditional restaurant. Brigitte is close at hand, but lets you get on with your break. Plenty of places to visit nearby, some great bastide towns.

Le logement de Caroline est Gilles est vraiment très sympa; dormir dans un ancien hall de gare n'est pas commun et nos enfants ont adoré. Le petit plus est que ce logement est un mini musée puisque Caroline et Gilles ont chiné les brocantes et internet pour retrouver plein de vieux matériel de cheminot et cela ne les empêche pas d'accueillir une famille avec trois garçons !!! Bravo !!! L'état du logement est impeccable, tout est rangé et tout a une place. Enfin, l'emplacement est très intéressant, nous avons pendant trois jours visiter le Périgord Noir avec ses châteaux, rivières, jardin, bastides, forêts, villes ..... Nous conseillons donc pleinement ce logement !

Very chic apartment with incredible view in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed staying here. Parking at the free lot across the bridge was easy! I would recommend only bringing what you need if your bags are heavy because there are a lot of stairs to get the apartment!

Nous avons passer un super séjour dans le gîte de Laure. Dans le centre historique la situation est vraiment idéale pour se balader sans devoir prendre la voiture. Nous avons pu récupérer le logement un peu avant l’heure d’arrivée en ayant contacté Laure qui nous as répondu très rapidement. À l’arrivée nous avons pu nous détendre dans le jacuzzi sur cette petite terrasse bien sympathique. Je recommande vivement ce logement dans un cadre atypique.

Logement conforme à toutes nos attentes et fidèle aux descriptions. L’accueil de Jean-Guy et Christine est aussi agréable et bienveillant que discret. En un mot comme en cent : parfait !

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le logement ainsi que par son jardin en bordure d'eau. Un vrai havre de paix, idéal pour se ressourcer avec une vue magnifique. Isabelle est une personne vraiment agréable et propose des prestations rares par leurs qualités. Nous avons hâte de la revoir ! Nous la recommandons sans hésitations :)

We loved our stay here. Wonderful location - an easy walk to the cathedral, centre-ville, and markets. It is a medieval building with narrow, steep, and winding stairs, so if you deal with mobility issues, or are an over packer, lol, this is not the place for you. But we loved it. Everything we needed for a comfortable and wonderfully located stay. Would come again.

Petite pépite en plein cœur de Sarlat. l'appartement est extrêmement bien situé, juste à côté de la place du village et de tous les commerces et restaurants. Les indications fournies par Patricia pour trouver l'appartement et se garer étaient très précises et pratiques. L'intérieur est très beau et est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a avait également tous les équipements à disposition et la literie était nickel. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et recommandons chaudement !

Bel appartement calme, très bien équipé et joliment décoré, très propre, une place de parking. En escale, nous y avons passé deux nuits reposantes (à l’aller comme au retour). Très belle vue depuis le salon sur une magnifique vallée. Accueil très sympathique de nos hôtes. Côté pratique pizzas à emporter au bourg à 5 mn. Je recommande.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine et Pascal ont été très réactifs pour répondre à des questions avant la réservation. Pascal nous a accueilli avec convivialité dans ce logement qui correspond parfaitement à la description qui en est faite sur l’annonce. A 5 minutes du centre historique de Sarlat, cet appartement décoré avec goût dispose de tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour « cosy » chez Sandrine et Pascal. Nous y reviendrions à l’occasion d’un prochain séjour dans ce beau Périgord noir

Sarlat foi especial para nós! Com a proximidade do Natal, tufo ficou completo. A cidade é pequena, mas encantadora! A feirinha de Natal, muito alegre e acolhedora, fez um lugar no nosso coração! Foi um ótimo local para escolher e visitar inúmeros sítios na região. O apartamento é tudo como o que está descrito. O custo benefício foi valioso para nós. se tivesse conhecido Sarlat antes, bem como, o apartamento, passaria o Natal lá! Teria sido mágico! Obrigado anfitrião! Voltarei, se o mundo não acabar antes!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
