Holiday rentals in Maurens

Nous avons passer un super séjour dans le gîte de Laure. Dans le centre historique la situation est vraiment idéale pour se balader sans devoir prendre la voiture. Nous avons pu récupérer le logement un peu avant l’heure d’arrivée en ayant contacté Laure qui nous as répondu très rapidement. À l’arrivée nous avons pu nous détendre dans le jacuzzi sur cette petite terrasse bien sympathique. Je recommande vivement ce logement dans un cadre atypique.

What an amazing accommodation! One of the best city apartments we’ve ever stayed in. Sabine and her husband came to help us as we got lost! Many of the streets were closed off for a special bank holiday theatre festival . However, we were so lucky with parking as free over Bank Holiday! Sabine has thought of everything in this flat. It is comfortable and relaxing with everything you need. The coffee provided was max strength- 7 - so rather too much for us but Sabine is generous to leave it. No penny pinching! We hope to return.

Our stay at La Maine was wonderful. Catherine and Maxence are excellent hosts, extremely welcoming and warm, but also very respectful of privacy. The cottage is impeccably decorated and comfortable -- we cooked a couple of meals after shopping at the farmer's market, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. Cubjac is small, but inviting -- be sure to go to the bakery, to the farmer's market, and to the Tabac for aa coffee. Catherine and Maxence had great recommendations for restaurants and outings -- every one of their suggestions was 100%. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! Thank you to our new friends in Cubjac -- and Lila and Iris, of course.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Un excellent séjour dans ce magnifique endroit. Effectivement les photos ne rendent pas justice à cette jolie maison, et que dire du jardin avec sa petite piscine, si beau, si paisible, un dépaysement total. Un énorme merci à Guy et Geslany pour leur super réactivité et leur gentillesse. Nous avons pu rencontré Guy, de la bienveillance pure, un Homme adorable et réellement aux petits soins pour nous. Mon fils vous remercie encore pour la petite voiture que vous lui avez offert il en est fan. Nous reviendrons c'est sur et certain nous avons trouvé notre pied à terre en Dordogne.

Un logement très propre, au calme avec un carrefour express à 5 mn à pied très pratique ! Carine a été très accueillante ! Je peux que recommander ! Nous reviendrons sûrement !

La maison est parfaitement conçue et pensée. Elle est lumineuse, les matériaux sont de qualité et choisi avec beaucoup de goût, vous y trouverez également un électroménager haut de gamme. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleur par Mariadèle Le jardin appel à la détente et à la relaxation, les oiseaux vous tiendrons compagnie tout au long de votre séjour. Chacune des 3 chambres est décoré avec gout et possèdent une douche à l’italienne très spacieuse. La suite parentale (rose) a également une baignoire et un WC De plein pied et très spacieuse, la maison est idéale pour accueillir des personnes âgées. Je recommande bien évidement cette location qui est un bon rapport qualité/prix par rapport aux prestations proposées.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!
