Great little place but don’t expect to be able to get any form of internet in this little location unless you roam. The place was great otherwise

Didn’t expect the experience to be like this. The value you get for what you pay is surreal. The house is located right beside the beach. From how the room is, with it’s facilities and the place where you can sit in the garden. The host treats he’s guests like family. From the moment i arrived to guanabo I was recieved. Showed the way to the place. The host made sure that I had everything i needed and if I had any questions about the area, what a person can do for activities. I will definetly return. Because of the high value for the money. How relaxing the stay is and the area in general. When the sun is shining you get the feeling that you are home and you just want to stay. If you can’t relate to what I’m talking then you need to come and experience. Thank you Alberto for having me and taking great care of me! 🤝🏼

Great place to rest, hosts are on the lookout all the time and the place has all the amenities! The terrace is amazing and the breakfast is so worth it!

Excellent, as shown on the listing. Excellent attention. Very beautiful Guanabo beach. I would have liked to stay for a lifetime. Future travelers in the Guanabo area I recommend carrying mosquito repellent.

Excellent peaceful small homestay in a beautiful tropical garden very close to the beach. Many places for breakfast and lunch.

David and Yinet are amazing hosts! They made my arrival in Cuba so easy and treated me like family. 100% recommend. Yinet is also an excellent cook, I highly recommend ordering breakfast and dinner at the Casa. Gracias y feliz Año Nuevo!

i liked the time I spent in Matanzas at Angel's place very much. Angel was great and really helpfull in everything. Gave me a lot of tips. Hope I will come back soon. Thank you Angel.

We only stayed for three nights at Zenaida's and Pablo's but had a good time there. We were greeted very friendly with fresh juice and coconuts that grow in their backyard :) Pablo and Zenaida showed us around the house and their garden which offered many tropical fruits. They also have a very cute dog ;) The communications was a bit difficult in the beginning as we didn't speak Spanish and they don't speak English but we managed to understand each other in the end. The only thing you have to get used to is the very loud voices of the two ;) I definitely recommend that you eat at Pablo and Zenaida's, their food was very delicious, especially the breakfast was very nice. Pablo and Zenaida were very helpful when my boyfriend and friend caught a cold, they made them homemade medicine which was really good and we ended up using it even at home. They also helped us to figure out how to get to our next destination and even gave us the address of one of their friends in the area in case we needed any help there. All in all, we had a nice time at Casa Cocodrilo and would definitely recommend it. Pablo and Zenaida, thank you again for all your help and the good medicine!

Edian's place is in the perfect location—just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Varadero. We visited when the water was pristine and stunning, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything was set up for us upon arrival, and the convenience and comfort of the space made our stay even better. It’s truly a prime location—we couldn’t have picked a better place. Highly recommended!

great location, literally sitting above the sea! very nice terrace with direct access to the sea... Rooms were very clean and modern and good quality! fully recommended

The host is two kind old people, also has a cute cat, the house is on the side of the first avenue, in a place close to the middle of the entire island, especially convenient, the house is very tidy, and basically equipped with all the necessary items.My small dog was also welcomed.Highly recommended for your family trip.

The house is right on the beach! In the neighboring house, there is a restaurant with tables directly on the beach. Giada is always very easy to reach and very helpful. Check-in was straightforward. The house has a very large terrace right on the beach and loungers on the sand. There are three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a very spacious common area with an open kitchen. In the morning, a delicious and rich breakfast is prepared! In the event that the power fails (unfortunately, that was the case with us), there are battery-powered fans. It is recommended to bring flashlights and power banks. If you want to experience the original Cuba (with all the advantages and a few disadvantages), this is the place to be.

Libbys is a great host! She provided a clear orientation and then helped us find transportation to the Cueva de los peces on the other side of the bay. Meals were excellent too. Great location and great value for a fun beach trip.

Had an amazing time with my family thanks to Mina’s special attention. We are very thankful for her, the house itself it’s really nice and located just across from the beach. However, the best thing about this house is Mina and her niece. They’d do everything and beyond to make you feel at home.
