Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Matanzas

We enjoyed our stay in Varadero in this residence. However, even if the other one can't do anything, the current situation in Cuba makes sure that there is a lot missing in the grocery stores and we had to look for bottled water that we finally found at Calle 33.

We adored our stay at this house! Extremely spacious and perfect for a large group like ours. It had multiple patios, where we had amazing game nights and drinks with the family. EXTREMELY close to a beautiful clean beach - literally 2 minutes walk from the house. Amazing location: it’s right at the beginning of Varadero with walkable access to downtown and all restaurants/amenities. Very close access to the bridge to Santa Marta which allows to explore real Cuban life. The house is peaceful, with lots of greenery and plants - we loved the ambiance. Special thanks and gratitude to Dalia who was available to help whenever we needed it, and made us feel at home! She is the soul of the house and an amazing help with everything (navigation, recommendations, food, etc) you may need during your stay. The host, Maite, was also able to provide WiFi during our stay which was very helpful. Thank you both Dalia and Maite! We will definitely come again!

Elenita is the best in Boca de Camarioca. We returned to her home for the end of our trip and everything was perfect! With Elenita, you will not miss anything. She is committed to ensuring that her customers are satisfied and comfortable. She took great care of us and even guided us in our choices in order to have the most beautiful trip possible. Our stay was really good at her place. The accommodation is impeccably clean and it is very intimate and safe. His meals are really delicious and you have all the amenities of the village nearby. This place is 100 times better than Varadero. And if you want to go to Varadero, Elenita will arrange transport for you at a good price. She takes care of everything as if we were family. We had a great few days at Maria Eugenia and Antonio's place. They are wonderful attentive hosts and so kind. They shared food with us and were amazing with the children. We had lovely conversations in Spanish and met the wider family. The house is modest but spacious and functional with all the basics that you need and is as described. It is so close to the beach which is why we were there! There is a little ice cream stand on the next corner so the kids were very happy. There were limited supplies in Varadero shops so do bring food and snacks along if you are planning on self catering...this did however not affect the lovely stay we had at their casa. Muchisimas gracias!

The service was exceptional, it was top notch, it has everything you need, very good attention from the owners, highly recommended. One of the best hosts touched on me. Beautiful rental house on the water close to varadero

Ludis, his daughter, Julio and Pablo treated us as luxury. They were very nice and we didn't need anything. The place is very nice but there is no wifi and you need to get a cuba sim card to be able to access the internet and calls. You are relatively close to the main avenue where you can do several activities and you feel safe when walking through the streets even if it is at night and there is no light. The photo of the sign in bendito paraiso has a number that does not work, it is necessary that they leave the number of someone in case they need instructions on how to get to the accommodation. Other than that, it's a great choice to get to Varadero and I highly recommend it

I will definitely be coming back! Oriel and Yanet were fantastic hosts, they were friendly and accommodating, I was very happy with my stay. I don't usually leave reviews, but because of how Oriel and Yanet treated me I felt compelled to let you all know this is a great place to stay for trips to Varadero and they are amazing hosts!

The place is spectacular. It is close to restaurants, shops, and bars. You enter prepared for the interrupts of light that has everything Varadero and Santa Marta, well, it has tomas available and rechargeable fans. The pool is very nice. Undoubtedly, the most important thing about the place is the friendliness of your Co-host, always ready to solve our concerns and do your best to have an enjoyable stay. Regarding the beach, it is 15-20 minutes walk, or you can take a transport that costs around 100 or 200 Cuban pesos that takes you in 5 minutes to the beach.

My family and I stayed at Hamed’s AirBNB and we felt like HOME , They are AMAZING!!!! Everything was clean , organize , they helped us at any time! I really recommend this house! So private , well equiped , I really love it!! I would stay again as soon as I can!

Maria’s place is a bit out of town so we took a taxi there and back. We were a little apprehensive about the neighbourhood but, that said, the people we encountered were friendly. Lovely views from the room.

I always pick my Airbnb by the reviews and Udelmis reviews were great and well deserved. Udelmis, her family, and staff were fabulous, they all spoke great English and were sooo friendly. When I return to Cárdenas I will definitely stay there.

Great little place but don’t expect to be able to get any form of internet in this little location unless you roam. The place was great otherwise

The place is spotless, incredibly beautiful and very cozy. The kitchen has everything you need and more, with a spacious room and a glass window to the sea. There are liquids and treats to consume too. There are two rooms, our own had a very comfortable king size bed, split air and an indoor bathroom. The patio and the terrace make the fact of being outside very nice because it has a hammock and very comfortable chairs. We attended Edilena, co-host of Ricardo which is in Miami. Edilena is a very kind, helpful and friendly lady who was attentive to everything and with the best attitude. The house also has a generator in case of lack of electricity. I have traveled to varadero before but this place is amazing close to everything and Juan Carlos the best Rate the place a 10, there will be power 💯 still will go back

I had a most amazing eight full days at Melissa’s place. It is clean, big enough for two people and very close to a beautiful beach. Location is very good, best to buy Hop on Hop off bus to go around all day in Varadero for 5 USD. Center of Varadero is about 10 min by bus or 40 min walk. There are many restaurants of various ranges of prices. Electricity in Varadero was steady, as was water, but there are shortages of bread and food if you plan to cook. If you are easy and can go on one or two meals a day, there is always tortilla with eggs, coffee and water in bottles. Best to pay is in USD, or Euro. Canadian dollar is ok but not as much. Melissa was away but kept in touch and her father was super helpful and speaks great English. Kitchen is small and not equipped with cook staples so keep that in mind. Yard is small but adorable and shared with wonderful people who rent next door. They helped me a lot. For Cuban standards this place is lovely. If you love Cuba , 🇨🇺 go there! 🇨🇺💜

Ernesto is perfectly friendly. He helped me lift my suitcase up. The apartment was clean and tidy. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the center. The beach is a 20-minute walk away, but you can also easily take a taxi. Would definitely recommend it!
