Wonderful place - totally recommend staying there - and would definitely return

Hayley has set up a beautiful place to stay. It's quiet, calming and has a homely feel to it. All the little touches (plants/candles etc) are such a nice touch to the space and everything is as is described. We are travelling from Christchurch for some training camps at the lake, and even the boys were looking forward to heading back and relaxing in the "comfy" house after the hard trainings. We were hoping to book The Barn for our 2nd training camp, but it's not available. However, we have re-booked for our 3rd and are looking forward to being back in this beautiful space :)

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

Nicole's place is a beautiful large and spacious house in a quiet area of Matamata. Only a 15-20minute walk into the town so great for walking in for dinner. The house is spacious which was great for using as a space for getting ready for our wedding, abd had all the facilities we required.

It is a lovely place to stay, new, clean and tidy. The place has everything we hope for an accommodation. We had a wonderful stay there! Dee is very welcoming host as well.

Alex's place is nice and in a really handy location only 2 minutes from the main town streach of Matamata. Very nice accommodation.

We had a lovely stay here. Had everything we needed, portacot set up for our baby included. Accomodation was very nice and tidy. Brenda was easy to get in contact with. Would recommend.

Is this little slice of paradise had to be summed up in one word.. it would be Stunning. Stu has gone above and beyond to create an aesthetically pleasing yet warm space, thoughtfully decorated and appointed. Get ready to leave your stay rejuvenated and relaxed!

We had a wonderful stay, Steve and Viv are excellent hosts, the apartment was fabulous, very clean, beautiful linen also such thoughtful touches with breakfast items in the pantry and fridge which was great. We highly recommend this AirBNB

Cosy, warm, comfortable. So peaceful and had a lovely outlook. Had everything I needed and I very much enjoyed my two nights there. Can thoroughly recommend! PS…and the blueberry jam was to die for! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The location was absolutely perfect, so close to the beach and so close to the shops. The unit is private and the living area is very spacious. The host is very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay, complete with a tour of the farm and feeding the cattle and ducks - my kids thought that was amazing! Alison is fantastic with online communication, and was very patient with my excited children on the tour! Both Alison and Drew are lovely, and their property is immaculate. The house was well equiped with everything we needed, and very warm and comfortable. We would love to come back- especially in warmer weather so we can use the pool more!

This place is placed really well for easy access to the main city. Car parking is right near the entrance and there’s only 2 small flights of stairs to climb. Caitlyn was really responsive and the unit was stocked with little extras to make your stay comfortable

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

Richard was an excellent communicator and very flexible with arrival times. The apartment was large and comfortable with lots of thought put into making it a great experience. The beds were so comfortable I took a note to upgrade my own. The linen was wonderful too. No smart tv but lots of books. Good off street parking for two cars and the apartment was in a good location for travelling in from the south and heading north. Great stay. Thanks Richard!

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

Very clean, spacious apartment. Easy to park in the single garage and one offstreet park. Kitchen is very well equpped, good size lounge and dining area, very comfortable for 5 to 6 adults. We heard 4-5 trains, but they didn't bother us, many trains weren't running over Kings Birthday weekend. Double beds were a little soft and small and pillows over full, will take my own pillow next time. Has a heat pump but didn't use it as the apartment was very warm.

Short drive from the airport, Close to lots of amazing cafes, the beach, and hot pools. Fantastic views from the top of Mount Maunganui - worth the climb. Hot pools were great to soak away any aches after the climb.
