Spacious Flat - West End Glasgow - Great location

Situated in the beautiful West End of Glasgow beside: Restaurants, cafe's, bars, the Kelvin River, Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow University, the Botanic Gardens and so much more. Buses, Trains and the Subway are only 5 minutes away. Bath + Shower. Large kitchen with all amenities. Room w/ wardrobe facilities. Towels and cleaning products included. We have a projector in the livingroom w/ Netflix, films, sports etc! Happy to give advice for great restaurants, activities and culture. Thanks

The garden pod is part of our west-end home but is self-contained with an en-suite shower room (10.8Kw shower) and separate entrance. The room has a single bed (900 x 1900) and a sofa which converts into a 2nd bed of the same size. The room also contains a dining table and chairs. Although the main kitchen is in the house, the pod has a pantry for food preparation per a microwave, fridge and kettle. The room has direct access to a bike and wet gear garage. Free on-site car parking.

My unique home has a style all to its own. 10 minutes walk to many bars and restaurants in the Westend aswell as the botanical Gardens and the Hillhead subway Station. My flat has many custom build items of furniture made specially for the property by me personally. The 2 main, spacious rooms serve dual functions. The lounge serves as a bedroom at night with a pull down, super king, murphy bed. The kitchen has a cozy dinning area in the alcove of the room.

The cobbled lane has street lighting, a number of mews cottages and is widely used especially during the day. Living room/ kitchen has full cooking facilities as well as washing machine and iron/ board. Bedroom is split into main area and alcove with a mattress on floor, could be used by 3rd person (eg child) by agreement.

I'm very happy with the stay, the ensuite bedroom was comfy and clean, the shared kitchen well equipped and the location quiet, with good bus links into town, or about 20-25 min walk. The atmosphere was relaxed, Fraser was very welcoming, he is a truly great host. Fully recommend!

It was a pleasant stay with Malcolm. He is a great host — very welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He took the time to explain everything about the house and the surrounding area, even showing me the nearby shops and how to get there. One of the highlights was the Clyde Canal nearby, which is perfect for a peaceful walk and also leads to a nearby Tesco store — very convenient for daily needs. What really stood out was Malcolm’s kindness in taking me around by car to explore the West End of Glasgow, helping me find good areas for rental accommodation. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I truly enjoyed my time there. Malcolm also recommended some great places to look for long-term rentals. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend staying with him!
