Family-friendly holiday rentals in Maryborough

The family had a wedding to attend at Kingfisher Bay Kgari so we booked Rishendas beach house. Everyone felt comfortable, the home was well equipped and plenty big enough for our large group. The views were amazing, the resident kookaburras visited daily. The outdoor dining area with spa and BBQ on the deck overlooking the fabulous views was Amazing. We would definitely recommend Rishendas house and would love to return again for an Island holiday.

Absolutely loved our first family holiday away, loved we could bring our furr baby too. Place is really secluded and quite. Loved the walk path to the kangaroos and beach. Hot tub is a nice addition. A beautiful confy home. Price was great for an entire home that is pet friendly. 10/10

Incredible place and Brian was so helpful, we would love to return. Instructions regarding pickup at mainland reception were a bit confusing as they denied having anything to do with Airbnb and caused us to almost miss the Barge. The reception at the resort itself were lovely and had keys for us anyway thank goodness. This was the only downside of the entire trip and we’d love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in a prime location. The apartment was well equipped with everything that we needed for a peaceful and relaxed holiday.

Lynne and Wayne's apartment was fantastic! Super clean, all the amenities we needed, beautiful views, great pool and excellent location. Honestly - what else could you need. Special touches we appreciated were the snacks and things for the fridge which made our next morning much easier after checkin!

This is a wonderful place to stay in probably the best location in Rainbow Beach. It has spectacular views, and the beach and shops are a short walk away. The apartment is beautiful and spacious, and the main bedroom is huge. We had a little trouble with check in, but Georgia was extremely helpful and did her best to make sure we had a great stay. We would definitely come again!

What a find to be able to stay at Wendy's place. The duplex was extremely clean. The extras were great such as pushbikes to get yourself around the esplanade. Easy walk to the espanade and that wonderful jetty that goes forever, and a double garage. We had no trouble checking in and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Especially as next door was a great little art gallery! I would thoroughly recommend Wendy's place as THE place to stay if you are visiting Hervey Bay.

Everything was nice and clean, well supplied and quite a spacious house, would definitely stay again! Also want to say a thank you to Raul and his wife who let us in and were very welcoming!

Easy access to house. Nice homely feel, quiet and private. neighbours are friendly and helpful. John was super friendly, helpful and responds quickly.

We had two families stay over Christmas and it was an excellent holiday! The house was perfect for a total of 9 of us. The kitchen is very well equipped. Location wise you’re very close to the main town area of Rainbow Beach - we walked there several times. It is also within driving distance to lots of other beautiful spots. We did a day trip to Double Island Point and that was easily manageable (if you have a 4WD!). Thanks Jessica it was a Christmas holiday to remember!

Great cottage feel in a perfect location close to pub, parks, coffee, fresh seafood, dolphin feeding, boat ramp and more. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we could even bring our fur baby. Highly recommend it! 😊

Great sized house for a large group, nice open plan with plenty of space. The kitchen is big and well equipped although some of the appliances and pots and pans need updating. Like most Airbnb's there is never enough toilet paper, washing detergent or tea towels so be sure to bring your own. Beautiful views from the large balcony, a great way to relax and watch the sunset of an afternoon. We always love staying within the Kingfisher Resort, it's great to be able to use the resort pool and very close to do day trips to Lake McKenzie. Overall, we loved the house and would definitely stay again.

Amazing villa. very well appointed. great for large family or group of friends. would definitely stay here again. Lucy was also responsive to messages in the lead up to our stay.

Terrific home for larger groups. Clean, spacious & well stocked kitchen with all utensils you could need. Our hostess Deborah was proactive and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again if we return to Kingfisher Bay

Love, love, loved this place. The location is epic. The unit is in easy walking distance of the reception, pool and restaurant. The unit had everything we needed and more. Literally can’t wait to come back next year with my family (2 young kids).

This three story townhouse was outstanding in that it affordably housed a full family of five - complete with a garage and splash pool. Easy walk to the beach, made the trip to our beloved Woodgate and awesome one. Yes, it is ageing and a little used with no aircon in 2/3 bedrooms (very hot weekend), but for the money spent it was absolutely worth it. Woodgate National were easy to deal with and a pleasure to arrange through. Thank you for the privilege of staying…

beautiful building structure tom was sure to send through all instructions on location and access and all amenities that could be used. we went during a quiet time of year so it was private and peaceful and the forest setting was amazing. the kookaburras would come to say hi on the Varanda through out the days, my partner was even able to pat one. such a beautiful stay and highly recomend. when exiting loft room you must be careful and go backwards as tom recomends it is a steep incline and their are no railings.

The unit was great, very comfortable and exactly what we required. Fully kitted out, with nice touches of milk in the fridge and fresh bread in the kitchen. Also washing powder provided. All cleaning items too.. Michelle was very responsive. There were a few issues that she resolved and a couple that were out of her control. The Body Corporate let her down with an unusable pool. And there were issues with the NBN, but Michelle found a usable workaround for that. . We would stay there again based on our experiences.

we only stayed one night but everything was perfect for our needs. everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Jackie was helpful and lovely.
