Family-friendly holiday rentals in Martigny-Combe

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

A really unusual and beautifully converted little mazot or chalet. Looks characterful and rustic on the outside but it was very modern and nicely kitted out on the inside. The space is tiny but we found it perfect for two. We were there in June so could enjoy sitting out on the terrace. We are both over 6ft so had to watch our heads in the bedroom which is in the eaves. We also found the stairs very steep and tricky so would caution people who are not very sure on their feet. One had to be very careful with middle of the night trips downstairs downstairs to the bathroom! Both the living room and the bedroom have a traditional unglazed window which is sealed by a large wooden door which it is brilliant to throw open to enjoy the mountain air, even when it's raining or snowing. Very atmospheric! The mazot is in a quite spot just on the edge of town but everything is 5 to 10 minutes walk away. There is even a japanese and also a savoyard restaurant a few minutes walk away.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Chalet Feiler sehr genossen! Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und ruhig. Die Küche ist grosszügig ausgestattet, inklusive Kaffekapseln, Milch, Gewürze, Öl und Holzkohle für den Grill. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Chalet hat unsere Vorstellungen also voll und ganz erfüllt! Die Kommunikation mit Anoushka war unkompliziert und ausführlich. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

This is a large Airbnb, which is fairly close to the train station in Zermatt, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Airbnb is situated on the side of a large hill, which faces the Matterhorn. We had a beautiful view of the mountain every single day, and the dual lifts make it easy and convenient to get from town to the Airbnb. The only downside -- and it really wasn't much of a problem -- is that the Airbnb is located near the edge of town, and so it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Zermatt where most of the restaurants are located. Regardless, if you have a large group, this makes for a good option. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great people to deal with. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay due to an issue at our end but I would highly recommend based on their communication and helpfulness

9 of us stayed here and the chalet was great for us, plenty of room and a great kitchen. I would definitely stay there again and will be recommending to F & F.

Der Aufenthalt im Schloss war für unsere ganze Familie (6 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder im Alter von 4, 6 und 11) etwas ganz Besonderes! Die Atmosphäre ist besonders edel, der Blick genial, reichlich viel und gute Ausstattung und die Umgebung gigantisch! Wir haben den Garten mit den verschiedenen Sitzplätzen sehr genossen, viel Tischtennis gespielt und sind vom Haus aus gewandert, haben einen wunderbaren Nachmittag am See direkt in Bonneville verbracht, das Einkaufen im Ort sehr geschätzt (vor allem die Fromagerie) und waren von dort aus in Chamonix (Zahnradbahn: fantastisch - Gondel auf den Aguille du Midi und Wanderung von der Mittelstation aus: atemberaubend!) und im "Hufeisen-Tal" mit den vielen Wasserfällen: unbedingt empfehlenswert! HERZLICHEN DANK, Cathrine! Auch für das Vertrauen!

Nous avons eu la chance de profiter d’un séjour exceptionnel au sein du chalet de Michel. Tout, du début à la fin était incroyable : le cadre somptueux, avec des montagnes tout autour du chalet, le chalet spacieux, très propre et avec énormément de charme. La propreté du chalet et tous les équipements fournis généreusement par Michel. De plus, nous avons eu la chance de faire la rencontre de Michel, qui fut très réactif concernant la réservation mais aussi très attentionné, de nombreuses attentions dans le chalet ont rendu le séjour vraiment incroyable ! Nous y reviendrons avec un immense plaisir ! Alexandra et Jacques

A fabulous hideaway, so quiet, no noisy roads, no noisy people. Just perfect. Lovely and warm, very clean, full of everything we needed. Was great to just read and not have a TV And we didn't need a microwave because we were able to cook ourselves easily. Plenty warm water and so luxurious to have a bath in the apartment, fantastic!! Also Samoens has lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes. In addition we were able to use a couple of spare towels as a curtain in the bedroom, so no problems at all. The information provided was so thorough, there was nothing we didn't understand. A wonderful place to stay for a week Thank you so much Scotti You have been amazing, I hope we can stay again ❤️

The apartment was very nice, the sleeping areas were very comfortable. The location was good, very close to both the downtown as well as hiking trails. Pierre was very quick to respond and friendly, and even gave good recommendations for the area. It did get quite hot in the area and the apartment got very muggy on a few nights, and I would have gladly paid more for some kind of AC. However, no air conditioning is typical for the area so it is not a knock against the apartment. On the nights where it cooled down and the windows were open the apartment was very comfortable and gave a beautiful view of the mountains. If I were to ever go back to Chamonix I would consider staying here again.

A wonderful host, cares for guests just like family!! The place is a little paradise aptly away from the promenade, offering breath taking views, murmur of the stream and quaintness. Highly recommend for all guests wishing to stay a little away from the promenade yet close to it.

We had a great, short stay and it was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, we loved having the pool to cool off in after a days riding. The villa is a short walk from the old town of Annecy with its wonderful bars and restaurants. It's also very convenient for the lake. Our hosts Aimé and Faïza were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend their place as a base for exploring Annecy and the surrounding region. I'll be back with my family at some point.

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Nous sommes venus chez Michel & Svetlana pour séjourner durant le festival de l'animation à Annecy. Nous avons été extrêmement bien reçus, le logement est parfait ainsi que son emplacement facile à trouver (20 min du centre-ville), calme et magnifique. Les hôtes sont très à l'écoute et nous avons été très bien accueillis dès le 1er jour. De plus, la piscine est particulièrement agréable. Nous recommandons à 100%. Signé Rémi, Justine et Célia.

Super week-end prolongé chez Amandine. Le chalet est confortable et convivial. Le bain nordique est un plus. Les randonnées aux alentours sont très belles ! Un petit havre de paix !

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Nous sommes partis à 4 passer un moment de dépaysement chez Sebastien & nous avons eu assez de place pour nous tous dans le chalet. Le logement est agréable, la rue est paisible & il y a pas mal d’activités aux alentours. Sebastien est accueillant, convivial & fait de bonnes tartes aux pommes pour l’arrivée des hôtes ! Excellent logement, emplacement idéal. Merci à Odile et Jeanne pour leurs gentillesses. La literie est de qualité et le cadre est très paisible tout en étant très proche des commodités. Quant à la vue, elle est vraiment superbe, ce qui permet un dépaysement total même à l’intérieur. Merci nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
